To many tunes were running through the young hufflepuff's head as she meandered her way down the halls of the school. It was surprising to see how empty everywhere was she thought for a moment only to remember it was a free day out into hogsmeade as well, thus many students were more then likely there. Kyraina herself however didn't feel to up for visiting the outside world today no infact with an upcoming potions review and essay still under her belt Kyraina was wandering her sing song way to the library to study. After wandering the halls for a short while waving at a few passing students whom had also decided to stay in Kyraina made it to the library. Pushing the large doors open and sliding her short slim body in Kyraina skuttled to a table near the back of the room. It would be much more peaceful back this way even with the room seemingly being empty as a tomb. Finally finding the perfect table Kyraina tossed her bag down pulled out parchment and quill and dug her way into her studies like the good little study bug many saw her as. Not many understood why Kyraina was this way, but she knew all to well why she must never come up late with any assignment and never get anything under a perfect score. Having one parent who worked for the ministry and another who was a well known publicist for news papers made life though nice, sweet or even loving she still had that burden of successful parents on her shoulders. It wasn't like her parents forced her to be this way no they just wanted their little girl to be happy, bright and just who she was. It was her own doing that made her such a study bug as well as a profectionist many called it. Kyraina wanted to succeed far beyond what a girl her age was supposed to be able to do, thus pushed herself to the far reaches of possibly her own limits many days even passing out every so often in the library whilst studying. In fact after a couple of hours of quill never really leaving the parchment Ky felt her eye lids finally starting to collapse on her till finally if anyone were to walk in they would find a small petite figure in the back of the room lightly snoozing.

Cade ran his fingers through his dark hair and frowned. While everyone else was having fun on their free day, he was being forced to go to, of all places, the library. The word made him cringe. Even the sight of books neatly placed besides one another on shelves made his stomach turn. Cade had been dumb enough to accept a tutoring offer, which is why he had wound up here. When one of his pretty friends had suggested she could tutor him, he jumped on the chance without hesitation. Now, he was stuck in the library in search of a random array of books his tutor had asked him to find. Although, Cade knew that if he found the books quickly he'd have enough time to meet up with his friends. His eyes scanned the list in his hand. The first book on it was "Guide to Advanced Transfiguration." He scanned over the title once more and let out a groan. "You've got to be kidding me," Cade muttered, clutching the paper tightly. "This better be worth it." He folded up his paper messily and shoved it in his back pocket, making his way towards the lumbering book shelves in front of him. Cade had absolutely no idea where to start. There were what, tens of thousands of books? He had a feeling he'd be stuck here for longer than he had planned.
Cade wandered around for a moment, before he found a section that was relevant to his first book. He scanned through the spines, counting up the alphabet before he landed on the Advanced Transfiguration book by Emeric Switch. This particular copy was a dark, rusty maroon color with gold print text on the cover. He pulled it from its little slot and thumbed through the pages. Cade let out another quiet groan and closed the book quickly. Too many words. If all his books were like this, he'd surely go insane. Cade reached into his back pocket and pulled out his slip of paper. His eyes skipped down to the second book on the list. "A Compendium of Common Curses and Their Counter-Actions." Cade rolled his eyes. "Is she trying to make me die of boredom or something?" He murmured, pushing the paper back into his pocket and disappearing back into the isles of books.
After what seemed like hours, Cade found himself towards the back of the library with an acceptable amount of books. Their covers made up a collection of dark, muddled hues. Cade could feel his arms beginning to ache under the weight of the thick books and decided to set them over on a nearby table and rest for a second. He strode over to a vacant table and set the books down quietly. Letting out a slightly irritated sigh, he sat down and leaned back into the uncomfortable chair. His eyes began to wander the room until they landed on a familiar figure, slumped over and asleep. Cade raised a brow for a moment until he realized who it was. With a smirk on his lips, he got up and walked over to where she was sitting. "Ky? Uh, sorry to break it to you, but nap-time is over." He chuckled and sat down in the seat across from her.

Kyraina's mind was wandering far out of reach from reality almost immediately after her eyes shut telling her she had to have been over working herself once more on the school work where her tired head now lay. Meandering through what her parents used to call lala land when she was little Ky sighed in her sleep her dreams taking her in all different directions almost like a slide show from when she was little to almost like her future. It showed her with some man snogging of all things almost making her cringe, whilst another with a woman doing the same exact action. Following these almost disturbing arrays she noticed herself taking charge in some kind of office each picture seeming more real then the one before it.
As she slowly tried to grasp these pictures Kyraina heard a voice in the distance telling her that nap-time was over. Slowly as she came out of her own little mind Ky noticed a boy sitting across from her and she almost blushed embarrassed as she realized it was none other then Cade. Taking a deep sigh and stretching out Ky carefully pulled herself back into reality. Seeing the bright smirk on her friend Cade's face was quite welcoming to her very busy studious day. With how busy she'd been lately she hadn't gotten much chance to really hang with any of her friends and now after a seemingly good nap as it so was a light break might be good for her.
"Hey Cade..." she said a bright smile coming across her own face, "Surprised to see you in here thought you hated the library?" She gave a light joking skeptical look to him knowing he would know she was just joking. Cade was one of the few people Ky felt she could kid with without either accidently offending them or just getting a snide comment from the person. Looking down at her parchment she sighed though knowing this nice encounter wouldn't last long for she would have to soon return to the dreaded essay at hand. If she didn't get it finished she would surely heavily mess up her score in potions and she couldn't or better yet wouldn't stand for that.
Looking carefully back up at Cade though she decided it could at least wait till she found out what her friend was doing in such a boring place such as this on a nice day. Surely he wasn't studying for even though he was a good student even Ky knew it was quite hard to motivate Cade to excel to his potential. She didn't mind though cause she knew he still did quite well in his classes and he was quite the spectacular friend to speak to.
