There were a lot of benefits to being famous in the wizarding world and Zar was more than happy to take advantage of every single one of them. That weekend, instead of being set up on some sort of blind date with some random chick he didn't know, he had the option to perform at the carnival instead. Zar found that option much more appealing than being stuck walking around with someone he didn't know. It wasn't so much that he didn't like meeting new people, since he did, but he really didn't want to be forced to hang around with someone that he didn't particularly mesh well with. Besides, there was a pretty good chance that the girl would have fangirl'd out on him and that would have just gotten awkward. It was definitely a better idea to just have the band rock out on the stage that they had set up for the entertainment that weekend.
While Zar generally would sleep in whenever possible, he was the exact opposite when it came to concert days. On the days where the band had a gig, Zar was usually up at an absurdly early hour to start the setup. Technically he could have left it to the people that worked for them, but Zar liked to be involved with all the little details that surrounded his stage, just to be sure that it was exactly perfect for all the things that he had in store. Every concert with the Chasing Quaffles band was something different and it was never the same experience twice, which was something that Zar was particularly proud of. He liked to make sure that their fans didn't get bored with them and he worked tirelessly to ensure that that was the case. He could never grow bored with his job and that was the best thing about it for him.
Having been up before the sun, Zar was more than ready to head over to the carnival grounds to start setting up and getting ready for their performance later that night. He arrived before the gates were opened, but was able to get in before the crowds because he was technically there as part of the staff. Of course, he completely intended to enjoy his time around the carnival before the actual concert began, so he was pretty excited about the day. He was allowed to just chill out with whoever showed up and then he would be able to finish off the day up on stage. All in all, not so bad for a day on the job. Certainly, there wasn't any other job out there that would be as perfect for Zar's lifestyle than this.
Reaching the large stage, he found that a few of his guys were already there getting things ready and he quickly jumped up there to start helping. Even if he was a big star now and didn't have to lift a finger to prepare, he wasn't like that. Zar hadn't really let the fame get to his head yet and he was pretty damn proud of himself for that. Moving about the stage, Zar helped get things put into their proper position, making sure that everything was exactly where he wanted it for his performance that night. After a good thirty minutes of work, the majority of the important things were set up, so Zar moved from the stage to let the guys take care of the more technical stuff. Sitting down on the edge of the stage, Zar settled down to wait for someone interesting to come along so he could go hang out around the carnival for awhile.
