The way that Honey just waved off any annoyances that Harley might have provided as a student was pretty impressive. Braden personally wasn't that great at dealing with people and he could never have been a teacher. He couldn't deal well with annoying people in the first place, but having to teach them would just have been a disaster. Harley was great to be around in normal situations, but he couldn't imagine trying to teach her in a classroom. "Do you ever get annoyed with them?" he asked, referring to the students in general. Honey seemed like the kind of person that would tolerate a lot from people without getting flustered with anger, but he could easily be very wrong about her. After all, they were just meeting very recently and he wasn't always the best judge of character.
Scratching at the back of his head a bit, Braden had to admit that he wasn't at all surprised that Honey loved her job. She just genuinely seemed to be happy every time that he saw her around school, even if she was surrounded by people that probably didn't care to listen to much of what she said. "Nah, it's good or whatever. Why have a job you're not happy with?" he asked with a shrug. Though, he couldn't really talk. While he didn't hate his job, he couldn't say that it was something that he wanted to be doing with his life. "Dunno, it's alright. It's a lot of work and stuff." Honestly, Braden was ready to move on to something else. What, exactly, that would be, he had no idea, but he also had no idea what kind of job he would ever be good at.

Honey's smile was almost guilty when she replied to Braden's question. "Sometimes?" she shrugged and screwed up her nose lightly. "I feel awful for saying that." she half chuckled, shaking her head at herself. She knew that Braden was hardly going to judge her for admitting that, sometimes, the kids did annoy her. But she still felt bad about it. Bad mouthing others, even a little, in any way, just wasn't something she felt comfortable with.
"Exactly." Honey grinned, glad that Braden was at least kind enough to make out like he didn't think she was a dork. His statement seemed genuine though and although she hardly knew him at all, she got the impression that he was the type of a guy who said little but meant what he said when he did speak. "I see." she replied simply when he answered her question. "Well, alright is better than hating it, but.. " she trailed off, looking at Braden thoughtfully, 'but you don't seem happy with just alright', is what she wanted to say, but she didn't. "What's your passion? Mine is animals, and that's why I have the job I have. You should find your passion and then see if you can do something with that." she smiled sheepishly, afraid that she might have overstepped some sort of mark by voicing her opinion, and quickly busied herself with clearing up any leftovers and rubbish.
Orion rose then and Honey paused to watch, her eyes following his movements carefully as the young horse stood and shook out his tail and mane. She rose with him, her eyes lighting up and a smile pulling at her face when he moved over to nuzzle her head. "Are you leaving, hm?" she said quietly, running her hand across his neck. If Honey could have it her way, she'd have Orion living up at the castle with her, but that wouldn't be fair on him. This was his natural habitat and to take him away from it would be cruel.

Braden couldn't blame Honey for saying that she got annoyed with the kids sometimes and he definitely didn't see why she felt bad about saying it. He got pretty irritated easily, but it seemed like sometimes the kids around Hogwarts took special care to do anything they could to get on his nerves. "Nah, don't feel bad. The younger one's are brats," he said with a shrug. Honestly, he couldn't be around the young ones without getting angry with them. Even a majority of the older ones were pretty obnoxious, but he was close enough to their age that it didn't bother him all that much usually. Of course, there were definitely a special few that he just couldn't stand.
With the job he had now, alright was probably about as good as it could get. Being at Hogwarts was pretty cool, but the actual job itself wasn't all that great and he wouldn't have minded being able to travel a bit more. He hadn't ever really gotten to travel, so it would have been a nice change. "Yeah, makes sense. I dunno what I like, though. I guess food...and I like hunting and uh, cars," he replied, his eyebrows furrowing up as he thought about it. Honestly, he didn't know where his interests were a lot of the time. He liked to sit around, eat pizza, play video games, but that wasn't exactly something he could make into a job. So, for now he was just doing what he could with whatever job he could find until he found something that he could make into a serious career path that he would actually want to stick with for awhile.
Braden watched with interest as the unicorn rose from it's spot and started to give Honey a goodbye gesture. Not sure if he was supposed to say anything to the unicorn or whatever, Braden simply gave it a quick wave as it started to canter off into the forest again. "He's pretty cool," Braden said, watching the unicorn until it left. Seeing something like that was pretty awesome, especially since you didn't get to see unicorns very often, if ever. "Do you have any other magical creatures you've made friends with out here?" Braden asked, quite curious. He couldn't imagine a small girl like Honey walking around in the forest on her own, but he could see the creatures just befriending her rather than eating her. She was too nice to eat.

Honey snorted on her drink when Braden claimed that the younger students were brats. She gave him a reprimanding glance but it was completely defeated by the grin on her face. A lot of them could be brats, yes, but that was just young kids for you. Luckily Honey didn't have to deal with a lot of misbehaved children in her class. Most of her students respected her and Honey liked to think it was because she respected them back and treated them as equals. It wasn't always easy but nothing in life ever was. Curiosity came over her as Braden mentioned some of his likes, though she didn't feel all that comfortable with the hungting part. Probably because she loved animals and was kind of very squeemish about that sort of thing. She tried not to show her discomfort though by busying herself with packing things away.
"He is." Honey giggled, swatting playfully at Orion as he snorted air into her face, blowing at strands of blonde hair. "I've met a few." she nodded in response to Bradens question, absently patting Orion as memories of the animals and creatures she'd found out here ran through her mind. "None of them were nearly as nice as Orion though." she said, unable to help herself from gushing over the young horse. Braden must have thought she was kind of pathetic but Honey really couldn't help herself, she loved Orion like he was a member of her family; a little brother. "It's best to keep out of the way of most of the creatures in here." she elaborated and took a step away from Orion as he turned to leave.
Honey watched him with a pang in her chest as the horse bowed his head at Braden, as if he was saying goodbye and then turned and cantered off into the trees. Watching Orion run off into the dark and scary forest was never easy, not when all she wanted to do was protect him from some of the larger, scarier animals out there. "And there he goes." she whispered, mostly to herself and then put on a smile as she returned her attention to Braden. "So, I hope meeting Orion made up for missing the halloween party?" she chuckled, but doubted that Braden would agree with that.
