Hearing the door open once more, Thayne looked up to see one of the Potter boys coming through. He wasn't sure how safe it was for any of the Weasleys or Potters to be out and about, but they did have the most reason to want some sort of revenge on the Death Squadron and Thanye wasn't about to try and stop them. Besides, they were to stubborn to convince otherwise, he was sure, and he'd much rather have the lot of them helping than not. Rescuing people and saving the world was in their nature, after all. Though, it didn't seem like Albus had been clued in on their little rescue party and he didn't appear to be all that pleased by the face. In fact, he seemed about as pleased by that as Roxanne did by seeing him there- not so much. However, Felix seemed to be a bit more impressed that Albus was coming along and Thayne was apt to take that side in the matter.
When Felix mapped out his plans for which people would pair up, Thayne gave him a slight nod of approval. He didn't mind being paired up with Roxy and that probably would turn out best for the group. Considering Felix didn't trust him, he'd much rather be paired off with someone that he knew would have his back out there. It was dangerous what they were doing and there was no telling what could happen, so he definitely wanted to be with someone that he felt would care at least a little if he were being attacked. Albus too seemed to distrust him, so Thayne was definitely glad to be paired off with one of the girls. They were a lot more accepting of the idea that perhaps not all Slytherins were bad, which was nice. It certainly wasn't an easy stereotype to break through, especially considering his last name.
As Albus came over to him, Thayne raised an eyebrow slightly, not sure what he was doing. The greeting, while appreciated, didn't exactly seem like the friendly kind of greeting and had a threatening vibe to it. However, Thayne was just as cordial as usual. "Yeah, Thayne Crabbe. Nice to make your acquaintance Albus," he said with a nod, holding his hand out to grasp Albus' for a moment, giving him a firm shake. One of the few things his father had taught him that he took as sound advice was that when shaking someone's hand, you made sure you had a firm grasp. It showed some sort of respect and also that you weren't the sort of person that could get intimidated. It was a slightly awkward meeting on Thayne's part, but it was good that they were getting it out of the way now.
