Carleigh nodded in the slightest at Ilyana’s offer to talk. On the outside she seemed calm, but the look in her big blue eyes would state otherwise. On the inside she was screaming “Why the fuck would I want to talk to you?!” The girl needed some air, to clear her scrambled mind. She walked to the window, opening it all the way and leaned against the sill. Carls was still fuming, it would take much more than an open window to calm her nerves, but the fact that she was farther away from people did help in the slightest.
“Sure thing,” the blonde replied, running her fingers through her hair. Errands. That sounded just about as fun as, well, staring at a wall. Honestly, she just wanted to go back to sleep and wake up in the morning to find out that this was all a bad dream. The thought of her parents lifeless bodies haunted her, causing her throat to feel sore as she held back her tears that brimmed in her blue eyes. Carleigh looked out the window, willing her tears not to fall. She could not stand the thought of letting Ilyana see her cry again. Once in a lifetime was more than enough.
“I did have plans for tonight, but I don’t really feel like going out.” Her usual nightly agenda consisted of sex and alcohol, but tonight she didn’t feel like it would satisfy her. Or maybe she just needed to take it to the next level. This is Carleigh Stryder though, is there even a level above her that didn’t include trafficking herself? Probably not. But it wasn’t going to happen tonight. The girl couldn’t possibly summon that much energy unless she got her hands on some crack and Red Bull within the next few hours. Carls didn’t feel like going through all that trouble. She honestly didn’t want to do anything at the moment besides sit there on the windowsill, but getting out might do her some good. “But sure, I’ll go run some…errands for you, or something.”
