The sun was shining and it was too beautiful of a day in Analeigh’s opinion for her to spend her day inside her house doing practically nothing, so she had decided to spend her day roaming Hogsmeade. If she were being honest though she didn’t really want to go outside at all. What she really wanted to do was stay on the couch watching movies, eating, and basically not doing anything productive or worthwhile. Of course, Analeigh couldn’t do that, well she could, but she wouldn’t. There were too many things that she needed to do and things to get and since she didn’t have to work today, it seemed logical to do it all today. After all, it wasn’t like she was going to get any days off anytime soon so why not?
Well she could think of many reasons to that question while she was window shopping, but she put aside those thoughts. I am going to be productive today, the blonde told herself, not meaning it at all. Analeigh wasn’t made to be productive 24/7. Between work, taking care of her sisters, and making sure Kat doesn’t eat everyone in the family, she was exhausted. It doesn’t help that she rarely had days off. Despite how good she was at sweet talking into (almost) always getting pay raises every other month, she was pretty rubbish at getting days off. Now that she thought about it, she should have really focused on getting that latter than the former. It wasn’t as if the money would have helped her in any way. If she needed money, she would go to her parents.
A little while later, the blonde was beginning to regret her choice of choosing to come to Hogsmeade. Diagon Alley had much better shops and a majority of the things she needed were there. Analeigh sighed and made a mental note to remember to go to Diagon Alley afterwards, but knowing how easily she forgot things when they weren’t necessarily important, she probably wouldn’t remember. After a few more minutes of walking, she spotted Tomes and Scrolls. She suddenly felt a need to buy some books and the blonde entered the bookstore, letting a small smile grace her lips. Analeigh always felt happy and safe whenever she was around books.
Walking around the aisles of books, she began looking for books on topics that she found interesting and travel books. It didn’t take too long for her to find all her books, but instead of taking them to the cashier, she sat down and started reading one of the many travel books that she picked from the shelves. Soon Analeigh was in her own little world and the only thing she noticed were the words on the page.
