HALLIE CAULDWELL HAS SENT YOU A MESSAGE [/b] ...You know what Megan? Looking back upon the years, I've realized that's true. You've known all about me and my family. We've gracefully accepted you into our house. I grew up with three older sisters. You were just there, and no one questioned it. But I knew absolutely nothing about you. Is that my fault? Probably. I don't think I've ever questioned it before. But now that I'm starting to...now that you're giving me little pieces of information about who Megan Aldridge is, and where she came from....well, you won't let me in. I don't know what you're hiding, and I don't know why you don't want to tell me. But that's up to you, and no amount of begging or pleading will get it out of you. So when the time comes, and you want to tell me, then I'm here. And that might happen today, it might happen in ten years, or it might not happen at all. But I'm done trying to connect on a deeper level. You obviously have some issues that you need to attend to, so I will let you go without questioning more. Because if that's what you feel must be done, then there's no stopping it. And if you feel safer or more comfortable with Sydney by your side, well than I cannot stop that either. But I'm going out with my new best friend tonight. I'm not replacing you...no one could ever replace Megan Aldridge. I'm simply moving on with my life. It's the same thing that I'm doing with my two other sisters. I've come to recognized the fact that maybe I just am too different from you, Peyton, and Sydney. There's nothing wrong with that. But the inevitable must come, and that means at some point, stop being friends. I always be here for you...a sisterhood could never be destroyed. But you, or Peyton, or Sydney, won't be my first choice to run to if I have a problem. In a way, you can kind of say I'm branching out...growing my own wings. I don't have to live under the shadow of you guys anymore...but rather create my own shadow, my own path. I wish you the best of luck on your mission. I hope you find what it is that you are looking for, both metaphorically and literally. I think you need to take this trip...because it's more than just find a person, isn't it? It's finding a part of yourself as well. I hope things for you come with clarity, because no one can show you the answers...only you can get them. There will come a day that I will look back on this conversation, and possibly regret the day that I realized we were no longer close. But I guess everything happens for a reason. So goodbye Megan.
