To be honest, Ilyana still didn't particularly know if she quite trusted Carleigh or not. There were times when the two managed to actually get along somehow, but that was usually only when Carleigh was particularly drunk. Ily did prefer to think that perhaps they could come together as somewhat friends eventually, however. Well, if you could call whatever relationship they'd ever have friends, at least. The whole situation was still way too weird for Ilyana and she preferred to consider herself not so much a part of the family, but more just a visitor to the Stryder household. It wasn't like she'd ever had a real family base, so to think that she had something of a sister and something like a mother now wasn't something she was taking well to.
However, she was pretty over the whole Carleigh hating on her thing and so she had made up her mind to take the girl out for a night to get to know each other. She wasn't sure how for the idea Carleigh would be, but she wasn't going to give her a choice in the matter. Besides, she had a good backup plan- to bribe her with alcohol, strippers and all kinds of awesome things. If that couldn't get Carleigh to lighten up about her than Ilyana really didn't know what else she could do. It had been awhile since she'd had a good night out anyways, so even if things didn't work out in the 'make Carleigh like her better' field, than at least she could get wasted and spend the rest of the night having a damn good time with whoever she happened to pick up at the bar. That was a good enough plan, obviously.
Not having been in the area too long, Ilyana had pretty much picked the first place that she could find to go for their night out- The Red Lantern. She had no idea that it was probably one of the sketchiest joints in town, nor would she have cared much if she had been aware of that fact. All she knew that it was a stripper joint and that they probably wouldn't care to check their ages, which was more than enough for her. It wasn't like she knew anywhere else that they could go anyways. Having decided on a place, Ilyana hopped up from her bedroom to go tell Carleigh to get ready. It was a surprise for Carleigh, so she hoped the girl didn't need far too long to get ready to go. If she did, whatever. They had plenty of time.
Grabbing a shirt off her floor, Ilyana tossed it across the hall at Carleigh's room. "Carl, get your ass dressed. We're going out. Don't give a shit if you're busy," Ilyana yelled out. Not the nicest of ways to start off the evening, perhaps, but she found that sometimes it was easiest to deal with Carleigh forcefully. Turning back into her own room, Ilyana set about getting ready for the night out. She wasn't the type to get extremely dolled up, since that just wasn't her style, so it didn't take her a particularly long time to get herself ready. Tossing on a slightly dressier shirt and some cute shorts, Ily was about ready to head out. She had money for whatever it was they went out to do that night and she was ready to go. Well, whenever Carleigh was.
Opening her door back up, she leaned up against it to wait for Carleigh, ready to apparate the two of them to the stripper joint as soon as the other girl came out. "Hurry up, bitch. We've got things to do," she yelled out again. She didn't really want to wait around, but she also wanted their destination to be a surprise, so she was settled in to wait. She had a pretty good feeling that Carleigh would take a bit longer than she had to get ready, which was irritating, but she was going to do her best to be in a good mood. Obviously, if she was in a bad mood than it was unlikely anything would go well that night between them. Carleigh certainly didn't respond well to bitchiness from Ily, so she wanted to avoid that if at all possible. Tonight had to be perfect, obviously.

Pass me a beer or a bottle of gin And shit, I could be your best friend The radio was blasting, drowning out the moans and screams coming from Carleigh’s room. Carleigh was pressed up against her door, her legs wrapped around a half naked guy. The guy’s face was buried in her neck, sucking and biting, slowly moving his way down to her chest as he fiddled with the clasp of her bra. She ran his fingers through his hair as he worked his way down her body, lower and lower. The girl felt a thump on the door where her lower back was pressed into followed by Ilyana’s voice. “I’m busy!” she half yelled, half moaned, back through the closed door. Her niece’s voice showed no sign of giving up, they were going whether she liked it or not. Carleigh leaned down and whispered into the guy’s ear, “We’re doing this quick, though I doubt you last long anyway.” He carried her over to the bed and flung her down, switching on his beastly side. To the girl’s surprise he was quite good in bed and once more Ilyana’s voice rang across the hall.
Once the little party in Carleigh’s bed was over, she rolled out of bed and picked up the guy’s pants, flinging them at him before she started rummaging through her closet. “You know the way to the door,” she called to him. The boy was a good friend of hers. He was always hanging around the house, usually half naked, but that never really seemed to bother anyone, besides Felicity’s fiancé. He walked up to her, kissed her once more, told her he’d see her around and then exited. She pulled out a crop top and a pair of heels, shorts and everything else were found in the drawers of her dresser. Carleigh could throw an outfit together in a matter of minutes. Hair and makeup didn’t take very long either. Before she knew it, she was grabbing a few last things and heading out of her room.
Carleigh shot a look at Ilyana who was leaning up against the doorframe. “Bitch, I had to rush.” She was talking about the sex, not about getting ready to go out and was not happy about having to cut it short. “You better have a good reason for making me do that,” her icy blue eyes pierced the air between them like daggers. She was serious. Carleigh waited for the reason. “You better have some strippers to make up for that,” she said, her expression was one that was not amused.

When Carleigh's door opened the first time, Ily wasn't surprised to see some guy hurriedly leaving from the room as he gathered up the clothes that he'd lost. Gross. Though, by now Ilyana was kind of used to seeing random guys around the house without their clothes on. Not exactly what she wanted to see, but than again at least they kept Carleigh entertained. For that, she was generally thankful to the lot of them. "Good on ya, mate," she said with a quick wave as the guy left. It was kind of hopeless to really try learning any of their names, so all of them generally just had the generic name of "mate" whenever she ran into them around the place. It wasn't like it really mattered, since obviously they weren't here for her. Just as quickly as the guy had come out of the room, he was gone and headed towards the exit of the house. Always good.
It didn't take more than a few minute after the departure of Carleigh's friend for the door to open again with a rather displeased looking Carleigh behind it. Ily simply gave her a bemused grin and shrugged a bit. "Eh, you can see him again anytime, but going out to experience awesome with me, not so much. Once in a lifetime deal, mate," Ilyana said with a nod. Honestly, she probably wasn't lying about it being a once in a lifetime thing. Although she was attempting to be somewhat positive about the night out with Carleigh, it wasn't like she had all that much hope about it turning out to be a good experience. Their personalities just clashed too much most of the time for them to get along, but at least she was making an effort. Sort of.
Not wanting to waste any more time, Ilyana brusquely stepped forward to grab Carleigh's wrist, apparating them out of the house before she could say anything in response. Perhaps that was a good idea for any encounter with Carleigh. She couldn't very well talk while they were apparating, after all. With a pop, the two reappeared a block away from the Red Lantern. Stumbling forward a few steps, Ilyana looked over at Carleigh, her hand still gripping the other girls wrist. "Right than. I guess I can let'cha go now," she shrugged. It was unlikely that Carleigh would leave. Maybe. At the very least, she probably recognized where they were and would be somewhat pleased with Ilyana's choice of destination for their night of awesome.
Motioning for Carleigh to follow, Ilyana took off towards the Red Lantern. It wasn't a far walk and they were right outside the front door within just a few moments. Technically, they weren't allowed in the place as of yet, but it wasn't like it was one of those joints that actually cared and the man at the door let the girls in without question. "You asked for strippers and I have provided," Ilyana commented with a sly grin. She knew Carleigh well enough to know that strip joints were probably always going to be a hit. "Drinks and whatever are on me, so ah, run wild," Ily chuckled, knowing that that probably wasn't the best invitation to give Carleigh, since wild was right up her alley. Ah well, what fun could the night be sober and with their guards up. anyway?

Pass me a beer or a bottle of gin And shit, I could be your best friend Ilyana’s comment sparked irritation in Carleigh’s head. She didn’t like to rush things like that; it took the fun out of the ride. “You’re going to be around for a few more years, I’m sure we could have done this some other time,” the blonde said, rolling her stormy, ocean colored eyes. She was not too happy to kick a guy out of her room; she never would be unless she had another guy coming in, or something better to do, which was rare.
The dark haired girl grabbed Carleigh’s wrist and apparated out of the house. Carleigh didn’t even have enough time to object before she was spinning through space to a destination unknown. A moment later, the two girls landed stepped onto the sidewalk of a dark street. Carleigh took her wrist back with a huff and looked around, immediately recognizing the place that she had been to hundreds of times. A slight smirk crawled across her glossed lips. Despite the little time that they spent together, her niece caught onto her flow.
Strutting down the street next to Ilyana, Carleigh’s heels clicked against the pavement. Once they reached the entrance, the blonde nodded to the bouncer. She obviously knew him and she was also quite close with the owner, with was a plus for the seventeen year old. They entered without a hassle. “Care to accompany me for the first drink of the night?”

The last thing that Ilyana wanted was to be reminded that she would be stuck there for a few more years. She wanted to be back home, not there trying to find some magical way to get along with the aunt that she certainly hadn't wanted. "You don't know that. Maybe I'll leave tomorrow and never come back, yeah?" Ilyana retorted with a bit of a scowl. It was unlikely that she actually went along with such a plan, despite the fact that she really wouldn't have minded. Typically, she was all for bending the rules and doing things the way she wanted to do them, but this was once case where she was kind of afraid to. She'd seen the things that some of the Ministry officials did to people like her and it was never too pretty. That was one thing that she'd much rather avoid if at all possible. So, she dealt with it and was making an effort to make things at least a little better.
Admittedly, Ilyana nearly breathed out a sigh of relief when she saw Carleigh's face lighten up a bit. Clearly, she'd picked the perfect place to go for the evening and that was awesome. Sometimes it was hard to tell with Carleigh when you were doing a good job, so Ilyana was happy to take the small smirk as a sign that she at least hadn't screwed up with her destination choice. At the very least, even if Carleigh decided to ditch her, she couldn't complain that she'd been taken to a lame place to hang out. That was a start. Not a particularly fantastic start, sure, but it was a start and Ilyana was happy to go with it. With Carleigh, a start was a big achievement, at least where Ilyana was concerned anyways. The fact that Carleigh hadn't tried to curse her yet was definitely something she would consider an improvement.
Based on how easily the two girls got into the joint, it was pretty clear that Carleigh had been there on more than one occasion and likely had made friends with the bouncers out front. Figures. Ilyana wasn't going to complain about that though, since she didn't mind the lack of hassle of it all. As far as Ilyana remembered, she'd never been into a strip club before and she was quite intrigued by everything going on around them. Definitely not what she'd expected, but it was a cool place nonetheless. Besides, if Carleigh liked it than it couldn't be that bad. In matters such as this, Ilyana was happy to take Carleigh's wisdom and advice. Not exactly the typical sort of thing you'd get advice from an aunt about, but nothing about their relationship was normal anyways.
When Carleigh spoke, her eyes flicked back over to the girl, having been momentarily distracted by everything going on. "You'd actually give me such an honor? Why, Carleigh, it's almost as if you're starting to like me," Ilyana replied with a rather bemused smirk. The sarcasm probably should have waited until Carleigh was too drunk to care, but Ily couldn't really help herself. Sort of. "But, yeah. That sounds great. I'm all ready to hit it hard," Ily nodded, starting off towards the bar. This time, she refrained from physically dragging Carleigh along with her, since it seemed like she could at least count on the girl to move towards alcohol. Even if she didn't consider her aunt the most reliable, that was one matter in which she felt pretty confident that Carleigh would come through on.
