Holidays were the best time for the club, since Nate knew how to work the crowds just right. He knew just how to draw people in on those special days and make sure they had the best day ever, while still dropping plenty of cash. Of course, St. Patrick's day was always one of the best. There were plenty of Irish people about, so that always did well for business on the holiday, not to mention his "partyathon" was becoming quite the hit around town. It was, without a doubt, the perfect setup for a hell of a business night. Nate himself wouldn't really be in attendance and would probably watch down on the partygoers from the upper tier that was his office, just to ensure that everything went perfectly for the afternoon. This was one of the biggest nights for him and he wanted everything to go down exactly as planned.
Padding down the stairs to make one last sweep around the club before opening the doors, Nate had a rather excited smirk on his face. The columns surrounding the dance floor were wrapped with green lights that were flashing rapidly along the floor. The lights up above were also tinted green, making the dance floor that much more perfect for the night. Hopping across the bar, he checked to be sure that everything that could possibly be desired that night was in stock and ready to go. With one last skim across, Nate nodded his approval and walked back out to the middle of the dancefloor. "Jarren," he called out, motioning for his head of security to come over. "Don't let the kids get too drunk. Don't want another mess like last year on our hands," Nate nodded, covering the last thing that he'd needed to attend to for the evening.
As far as he could tell, things were ready to go and it was time to open the doors and turn on the lights outside. Striding over towards the entrance, Nate unlocked the doors and pushed them open, pausing for just a moment to flick on the lights to welcome in any guests on their way. It was early as hell in the morning, but there was already a significant crowd built up outside and rearing to get in. A pleased look on his face, Nate left from the opening of the club and ascended the stairs to his own private floor of the club. Leaning out along the railing, he watched the club below fill with people. The bars started to flow with alcohol and the music was at full blast, quickly starting the atmosphere of the party. All in all, it was a pretty damn good start and Nate was quite proud of the setup this year. Happy with his work, Nate returned to his office to take care of personal matters, letting the party rage on below him.

Teddy typically wasn't the type to go out to large partying events, since that wasn't his scene. Sometimes for friends he'd go out for this or that, but generally he preferred being at smaller functions. He wasn't an introvert, he was just more reserved than most people. Not to mention, it wasn't like he often had the time for anything other than work. His work as an auror was time consuming enough, but that coupled with his work as the leader of the new movement took up the majority of the time. Sometimes he wondered if, perhaps, he was wrong and that taking this on was a bad idea, but at the same time he knew in his gut that he couldn't give it up. In a way, this endeavor was his way of living up to whatever expectations his parents may have had for him and it was his effort to make them proud, so he dealt with the stress.
Of course, that stress wasn't something that he could always just let slide and sometimes he found himself hitting up a bar late at night to give himself a chance to relax. Not the best of habits, sure, but it was the best way he could think of to deal with it. Not to mention, it was St. Patrick's day and the club over in Hogsmeade was having half price drinks all night. Certainly that was a reason to celebrate, if that was what you could call it. At the very least, Teddy felt that after a long and quite stressful day at work he deserved to just chill. Finishing off the last bit of paperwork for the evening, Teddy shoved the remainder of his work into his desk and waved his wand to turn out the lights. He could have stayed longer, since there was always more to do at his job, but it was nearing one in the morning and he certainly needed to get out of there before he got stuck there for the rest of the night. He was the type that could easily be sucked into his work to the point where he just slept at his office, so sometimes he had to make sure that he left at some point.
Pulling his jacket on, Teddy left from his office and quickly apparated over to Hogsmeade. Based on the crowd that was starting to gather around the club, it was about ready to open up. His timing had been rather perfect and as he sauntered up towards the crowd, the doors opened and started to let the masses of people into the building. It was a bit crazier than Teddy would have liked, but he was definitely not about to pass up the cheap drinks that would come from the night. Besides, perhaps the environment would do him some good. After all, the constant stress couldn't possibly have been good for the man and a chance to lighten up and actually enjoy himself was much needed. Of course, it wasn't exactly that easy.
Walking up into the bar, Teddy sat down in a more quiet section and motioned for one of the bartenders to come over. Teddy wasn't the pickiest when it came to his alcohol, so he simply ordered himself a firewhiskey. Nothing special, but as far as Teddy was concerned, it got the job done and that was all that mattered. It didn't take long for the bartender to slide the bottle across the bar and into Teddy's hands. He tipped his head back, taking a sip and felt the heat instantly at the back of his throat. It was a comforting feeling and Teddy felt slightly less on edge than he had previously. A shadow of a smile even managed to cross his face as he looked back over at the dance floor to see a few groups of young, Hogwarts students just enjoying themselves. Sometimes, Teddy wished that he was still that young and carefree. However, that just wasn't the case.

baby let me b l o w your mind tonight Milie checked herself over in the long mirror that was up against the wall in the staff room of Club Cronos. An approving and satisfied smile graced her lips as her fingers danced through thick brown hair. Not that she'd ever brag openly but damn she looked hot tonight. Milie loved it when she felt good about herself, she didn't think there was a better feeling. Well there was sex..
Twirling to check out her back, Milie nodded her head and then headed over to where she'd tossed her day clothes. She'd spent the better part of her day helping Nate set up the club since he'd given her the night off, so she'd decided to get ready here. It was an easier than heading back home and then back here. Once she'd packed her clothes into her bag, she almost missed her bra 'oops', Milie headed over to her locker. Using her wand to work the spell that opened it's door, she quickly placed the bag inside and shut the door. 'Okay, time to go party.'
Milie was immensely glad that she'd booked the night off of work. There was no way she wanted to miss the St Patty's sha-bang being held at Club Cronos. Not only were drinks half price but Nate always threw the most amazing events, so it was always good when she could enjoy them rather than having to be stuck behind the bar serving drinks. Then again she always did make sure she had a good time, even when working. She still flirted and danced and sang when behind the bar. But she couldn't drink and she couldn't go out on the dance floor with some hot guy.
Pushing through the staff doors, Milie made her way through the already busy club, over to the bar. She smiled, winked and waved at the people she recognized, laughing when they cheered her name. Most of them knew her from working behind the bar and most commented that it was good to see her out from behind it. Once she reached the bar, Milie leaned over the top and waved her friend and fellow bartender over. "Hey, give me your best drink, yeah?" She said and grinned when he replied "Anything for you, Mil" and went off to fix her drink.
Dropping back onto her feet, Milie leaned against the bar and did a sweep of the club with her dark eyes. 'Damn. Full already..' Milie had to admit that Nate was pretty damn good at his job. He knew how to throw a party, running a club was the perfect fit for him, at least from what she could tell. Thinking about her boss had her looking for him. It didn't look like he was down here from what she could see. Maybe he was up in VIP. Or in his office. Shrugging her shoulders, Milie turned her attention back to the bar and the drink that was now sat by her hand. "Thanks, babe." she flashed the bartender another smile and picked up the pint glass. Taking a large mouthful, Milie swirled the drink around in her mouth and then squinted her eyes at the green liquid in her glass. 'Huh.. not bad.' It was then, when she placed her glass back on the bar top, that she spotted Teddy at the other end of the bar. Grabbing her clutch bag and her drink, Milie pushed her way through the growing crowd trying to get drinks and over to where Teddy was sat.
"Hey, cute stuff." She grinned and placed her drink down besides his. "Didn't think this was your scene."

As Teddy had expected, it didn't take far too long for the club to quickly become filled with a wide variety of people. Typically, he wouldn't have expected it to be overly busy at such a strange hour, but given the occasion this was precisely what Teddy had assumed would happen. Of course, he didn't really mind the hustle and bustle of the club, since the atmosphere was just what he needed after a long day of work. Everyone was in a good mood and cheered up with the drinks and partying going on around them, so Teddy himself had quite the smile on his face. Perhaps it was partially from the alcohol that he was sipping at, but the man felt much more relaxed than he had when he had entered the bar and that was exactly what he needed for the night. Throw in a good friend or perhaps even Victorie and Teddy would be back to his usual, jovial self.
Sometimes, his job seemed to take a hold of him and drag him into a more serious, almost grumpy Teddy. It was much unlike his typical, rather funny and happy personality, but when you worked as much as he did and in the line of work that he did, it could be stressful. The things that he saw as an auror sometimes weren't the most pleasant and certainly didn't do any wonders for his attitude any given day. Throw in the organization that had to go into the Marauders effort and sometimes it just got to be way too much for the man. However, that was slowly starting to slip away at the club. Teddy was the sort of guy that was easy to cheer up and the combination of the music and the drinks was doing wonders for him. Not to mention, just as he started to motion for his second drink, a rather familiar face came up to sit down next to him.
Flashing Millie a wide grin, Teddy shook his head a bit. "It's not, but I sure as hell needed it," he admitted, shrugging a bit sheepishly. There was no denying that it wasn't the sort of place that you'd expect to find Teddy, since he was more of the quiet, karaoke bar sort. Well, when he actually found the time to go out, that is. "Not on duty tonight?" he asked, nodding towards the bar. If he wasn't mistaken, Millie was a bartender there at the club when she wasn't working one of her other many odd jobs. It was that versatility that made her such an asset to the cause, since she had so many connections and could easily weasel herself into a situation that they needed her in. Of course, she was also a fairly easy person to get along with, so Teddy had quite a bit of respect for her in that regard. He'd even go so far as to consider them friends, perhaps.
Drumming his hands on the counter for a moment as he awaited his drink, he gave the bartender a nod when it slid across the counter towards him. Clasping the bottle in his hand, he turned his attention back over to Millie. "How've things been with you?" he asked. From Teddy, this was a loaded question. Not only was he inquiring into her personal life and how she had been in general, but also into the line of work that she was in with the Marauders. As an investigator, there was always the potential for there to be something new and interesting to share and Teddy was always eager to hear about that sort of thing. Any leads that he could use to plan out his next move, the better and Millie was definitely one of the best at what she did.

Milie thought it was good that Teddy had come out to unwind. He sure looked like he needed it. As far as Milie knew, he spent a lot of time working. A lot. Which was to be expected since he had two very demanding jobs. One as an Auror and the other as the Leader of The Marauders. When your workload was crazy big, much like Milie imagined Teddy's to be, then you were definitely entitled to some time out. Milie shrugged out of her leather jacket and passed it over to the bartender with a mouthed 'Thankyou'. She'd put it on to complete her outfit even though she had no intention of going outside anytime soon, so she didn't need it. It was warm in the club and would no doubt heat up as the body count raised.
"Nah, boss man let me have the night off." Milie explained after taking a sip from her drink. She was leaning against the bar, her head bopping lightly to the music. Her green eyes did another quick scan of the area, stopping on the dance floor and the people that were already moving to the beat. She'd have to head over there later.
When Teddy spoke again, Milie knew immediately what he was asking and answered his question just as casual. "Nothing too exciting." She sulked. "My life has been pretty quiet the last few weeks." of course she couldn't say much, because you never knew who could be listening. This was her way of saying that she hadn't heard or found out much on the Death Squadron front. Which she was beyond disappointed about. But Milie already had a way of resolving her lack of information issue. She just had to make it official by clearing it with Teddy. "We should catch up somewhere a bit more.. private sometime." Milie winked over at Teddy and touched his hand with her own so that he'd meet her eyes. She gave him a knowing look, one that said they'd speak somewhere else when there weren't so many people about. Of course the flirting was an act to cover the exchange of knowing glances and short mysterious phrases. Anyway, no one would put it past Milie to be a flirt, she did it enough.

It was a bit weird for Teddy to see Millie anywhere other than at one of their meetings for the Marauders and admittedly, it was a bit offsetting seeing her in her own element. Here, she was more in charge than he was. Of course, he trusted her well enough so wasn't too bothered by it overall. Besides, it gave him a chance to get to know her a bit better on a personal level and would allow him to see where she would be best suited to help. Brushing a strand of hair back from his eyes, he nodded a bit at her answer. "Ah, that's probably a relief eh? It's a busy damn night," he said with a bit of a smile. Certainly, if there was any night that one would want to take off from working at a bar, this would be the one, especially when the club was as packed with drunkards as it was. And it was only the start of things.
Even though nothing was explicitly said, Teddy knew that Millie was completely aware of what he was really asking. That was one of the reasons why she was good for the cause. She understood the subtleties with what he was saying most of the time and could respond in turn. He never had to worry that she might say something stupid that would get them into trouble or would alert anyone to what they really did with the majority of their time. Millie knew when to say things and when to keep quiet and that was invaluable in a person. He nodded a bit, though he was briefly lost in thought. Nothing happening, once again. It had been quiet over the last few weeks and that made Teddy a bit nervous. At least when something was happening, they knew how to go in and fix the situation, but if there was nothing..than that was it. Anything could be going on in secret and they would have no idea about it. That was more dangerous than anything, in Teddy's opinion.
For a moment, her second statement caught him off guard, given the rather flirtatious way with which she said it. However, he quickly caught on to the fact that she had something else to say. Not information, perhaps, but something and of course, he had to go. He wasn't really the type to be caught up in flirting, but he didn't see anyone around that would know any better, so he simply went along with it. Putting on a smirk of interest, Teddy nodded his approval. Looking into her eyes, he attempted to make it appear as realistic as he could manage, just in case anyone was watching. Though, he wasn't sure how much he wanted to lay it on, just in case word somehow got back to Victoire. However, she'd understand. Sometimes he had to do things for the cause and if that included putting on a fake show of flirting, than he'd do it.
Sliding off of the chair he was in, he held out his arm to Millie with as charming a grin as he could muster. Which, admittedly, was rather adorable on him. "Well, that is most definitely an offer I can't refuse. Where to, than?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow rather suggestively. Teddy was good at putting on a charade when it was necessary. The two jobs that he was involved with required a lot of that and he had quickly developed the skill. That, coupled with the fact that he was a metamorphmagus made it quite easy for him to get his job done a lot of the time. He could become anyone that he needed to be for a time and it was a huge help to the cause. From what he could tell, there were a few people looking on at them, but none seemed to be overly suspicious, so it appeared that insofar, they were doing well.

Milie gave Teddy a playful smile as she picked her drink from the bar and linked her arm with his. "The VIP area?" she suggested and tugged a little on his arm so that he'd follow her lead. Despite the fact that the club was filling up pretty damn fast, Milie knew that the VIP area would be empty. It was still early in the day and the high rollers who usually rocked it up in the VIP room wouldn't be out to party yet. Which meant that, that was the best spot for them to talk privately. Pushing her way through the crowd, Milie snapped at someone who almost knocked her clean off her feet, causing her drink to go flying from her hand. "Watch it jackass." she snapped at the young male who had stumbled into her and when he simply stood there gaping at her, she snatched his drink from his hand. "Thanks." winking at him, Milie took Teddy by the hand and led them the rest of the way to the VIP area. "Hey Brian." She smiled up at the VIP doorman and cocked her head to the side. "Can we go in?"
Milie smiled brightly when Brian nodded, all professional like, and stepped aside for them to pass. "Thanks Bri" she winked up at the tall man and then entered the room with Teddy in tow. Once inside she dropped Teddy's hand and quickly did a scan of the area to see if anyone else was back here. When she was satisfied that they were alone, Milie twirled round to face Teddy. "Sorry for dragging you like that." she gave him a lop sided smile and shrugged a shoulder. "The crowds can get crazy in there, y'know?" she dropped down onto the nearest seat and took a moutful from the bottle of fire whiskey she'd just acquired.
"Okay, so i'm going to cut right to it." she said seriously and indicated for him to take a seat. "I think i should join the Squadron. Y'know, go in behind enemy lines."

Not as familiar with the club as Millie was, he was perfectly content to let her lead him to whichever spot she felt was the most appropriate to take care of the business at hand. Though, he had to admit, the thought of going to the VIP lounge certainly sounded a lot more promising than anything he could have come up with. Definitely a step up from whichever quarters he may have ended up deciding upon. "That sounds fancy enough for someone such as myself. Lead away, Millie," he said with a nod, following as she started to push her way through the raucous and rather rowdy crowd. Teddy certainly wouldn't have gone straight through them, but it seemed that Millie knew what she was doing and so he followed along, keeping a sharp eye out for anyone that was giving them any sort of suspicious looks.
When someone knocked into Millie, Teddy jumped forward, ready to brawl if the situation called for it. With his background in confrontations, Teddy was always prised and ready for any sort of fight that came his way. However, realizing that it was just some young asshole that was too drunk off his ass to know any better, Teddy melded back into the crowd, calming down quickly. His momentary outburst hadn't gone unnoticed by some of the crowd around them, but he was able to play it off as him just being a protective sort by quickly wrapping an arm around Millie's waist. He wasn't particularly comfortable with the position, given his relationship with Victoire, but it was a necessary action to keep anyone from catching on to any oddities in their behaviour.
Coming up to the VIP area, Teddy kept quiet as Millie did all the talking, not at all having an issue getting them back into the room. Walking in, he whistled a bit as he looked around, quite impressed by the setup of the room. Definitely a nice place for a quick, private meeting. Giving her an understanding nod, he followed her over to a seat, sitting down near where she had taken up her own seat. "Yeah, I can't say I have as much experience getting around them as you do, so it's not a problem at all. Whatever it takes, right?" he said with a shrug. Her taking control and basically dragging him along hadn't bothered him in the least. He was a fairly easygoing kind of guy and that sort of thing didn't really make a difference to him. Besides, it was all for the best and now they were safely sitting in a place where they could discuss whatever it was Millie had to say.
Clasping his hands together in a rather businesslike fashion, Teddy leaned forward in his seat to rest his chin on his hands as he listened. Millie's no bullshitting attitude worked for him, since it was the best way to get things done. When she had something to say, she came right out and said it and that was exactly the way Teddy preferred to work. However, he couldn't say he was entirely too pleased with what he was hearing. Leaning back into the chair, a thoughtful look passed his face as he evaluated her proposition. It was dangerous and Teddy wasn't the type to put his allies into a position where they could be compromised for no reason. However, at the same time, it could work to their advantage rather well. Perhaps even to the point where it would be beneficial to take up her offer.
Drumming his fingers thoughtfully on his leg, Teddy leaned forward once more to talk it over with her. "That's a bold idea. One which I've purposely tried to avoid, given the danger, but...what with the recent dry spell in information, it might be necessary," he started, giving as much detail as possible, just so she knew where he was coming from with all that he said. "Though, perhaps it might be best if we have someone else do it. It's a risky move," he concluded, leaving the floor open for Millie to give further opinions on the matter. There were plenty of other people he could ask to do it, some more likely to work than others, but certainly someone other than Millie might be fit for the job. She was too valuable to lose at this point.
