Poppin bottles in the ice, like a blizzard When we drink we do it right gettin slizzard
The Halloween Ball was something that Megan held every year and every year it was possibly one of the craziest days she went through. However, she loved it. It was the one time every year that Megan dropped all of her house rivalries and prejudices and opened her doors to, well, everyone. If you went to Hogwarts, you were invited. If you knew someone that went to Hogwarts, you were invited. If you just knew about the party, what the hell, you were invited. It always had a huge turnout, involving a pretty decent variety of people and it was always a success. Sure, they generally hit a few speed bumps along the way what with people passing out drunk or whatever, but none of that seemed to deter Megan from holding the party each year, without fail. Consequences be damned, the party was going to rage on. After all the effort Megan put into planning it each year, there was no way anything could get her to cancel it.
Though she had her house elf take care of the majority of the work, Megan was always the one to determine the decorations, the menu, pretty much all the little details that a party required to be successful. Daisy was just the one that set everything up and brought Megan's vision to life each year. And this year, Megan was pretty damn impressed with herself. The entire grounds of her castle had been transformed into a graveyard, with tables and chairs scattered about and eerie fog rolling throughout the entirety of her property. The inside, much like the outside, had a mysterious vibe to it. The lights were cut, leaving the rooms bathed only in the flickering candlelight around the rooms. It was the perfect Halloween atmosphere and it was definitely the perfect place to get into all kinds of trouble. Though she'd never admit to propagating trouble, that was exactly what her Halloween parties were all about- trouble.
While Megan herself was typically right there with her guests getting into all kinds of dastardly deeds, this year was different. This year, she couldn't act like she always had in the past. Hopping around room to room and hooking up with whichever people she wanted to wasn't an option and to be honest, Megan wasn't quite sure how to deal with that. Megan had been telling herself that she was perfectly content with the way she had been living for years and she had almost come to believe it. But then there was Peyton. Megan wasn't exactly sure what they were considering themselves, but it was definitely not just some casual sort of thing. Though, if she were being entirely honest with herself, it never had been. Whereas most people came and went, Peyton was always there and always the person she came back to. Of course, that wasn't to say Megan wasn't slightly terrified about where they were headed. Terrified, but hopeful.
When the night of the party came, Megan was more than ready to get started with the festivities. Music was already playing and the food was set out as people started to trickle into the grounds. Mostly just the regular partiers at her place, but a few others that she wasn't entirely familiar with had shown up as well. Megan briefly greeted them, floating about the mansion and talking a bit here and there with whoever she felt the need to greet. She was a damn good hostess, that was for sure, passing on her hellos to even those people that she wasn't entirely fond of. It wasn't often she was that easygoing, but she was quite capable of turning on the charm at least for one night of the year to bring the best party possible to everyone involved. Even if people didn't always like her, they couldn't deny that she was damn good at what she did and that her parties were always memorable.

Everybody just gonna have a good time And we gonna make you lose your mind Admittedly, Hallie had been counting down the days until Megan’s Halloween party for a while now. Not much of a partier, Hallie allowed herself to let loose once a year, at Megan’s party. She had a motto, what happened at the Aldridge mansion on that night stayed at the Aldridge mansion; a dangerous statement to make, but it did set up for a good night. Honestly, Halloween was the one time Hallie had the ability to just completely forget who she was and be a different person for the night. She could forget about being a Ravenclaw, which came with the responsibility of being a good academic scholar, and having the name Cauldwell, which meant accepting maturity to counteract the behaviour of her two sisters, and just dress for an entirely different role. Most of the time, Hallie didn’t mind her father expecting her to carry on the family legacy; she viewed it as an honour to say the least, and was quite proud of her accomplishments thus far. However, every once in a while, Hallie felt the pressure from her father and his business partners to do well, and when she started to crack under all the expectations, Megan’s party came around.
Quite honestly, Halloween and the party couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. With her break up with Braden at the gala, then the kidnapping, and the recovery month at home, Hallie wanted nothing more than to just go wild and let loose for a night. She just wanted to dance, drink, and not think about anything other than having a fun night. Just forget about her worries. Yeah, that sounded like a perfect night. And she couldn’t have picked a better date to share the night with than Alfie Chase. A lot of people, namely Gabby, didn’t approve of her decision to go with Alfie, considering his past. While it was true that he was with a new girl every week, Hallie didn’t exactly know what their intentions were. As much as she hated using the term, her relationship with Alfie seemed to be more of a friends with benefits sort of thing. Hallie was just looking for some fun at the moment, and there was no other guy more perfect for the job than Alfie. Everyone knew he didn’t get attached to girls. In fact, Hallie didn’t know if he had any emotions other than flirting. But that was okay, because it was exactly what Hal was looking for; someone to make her feel like a little schoolgirl again.
When it came to parties like this, Hallie became a little anal with the details. She knew that Megan would do an excellent job at the decorations and menu, like every year. And while she decided not to help Daisy this year, Hallie did make a special effort in her own bedroom at the mansion presentable. Hallie had no idea where the night would lead for her and her date, but she had a pretty good feeling, so she had to get the room in order. Especially since the last time Hallie visited, she kind of left pile of clothes lying all over the place. So she went to the mansion late in the afternoon, just to straighten up a few things, nothing too fancy. Hal learnt from her first attempt that going over the top was a bad idea. Very, very bad.
Accomplished with everything Hallie needed to do to make the night the best for herself, she relaxed for the few spare hours before the party started. It had taken her a while to find costumes for the night, and even now she still wasn’t entirely certain that Tinkerbell was the right choice. Granted, her dress was short enough to impress any guy, but was it too childish for Alfie? Hallie liked the green, and decided what the hell, why not? Just go for it, what’s the worse that was going to happen? If he didn’t like it, she had a sexy, nurse outfit at the mansion. She’ll just make do with the situation, and started to get ready for the awesome night planned.
With not much left to do, Hallie slipped into the green dress, accessorized by giant fairy wings, and headed over to the Aldridge mansion. The plan was to meet Alfie at the party, if he even remembered that he was going with Hallie. In fact, she wouldn’t be surprised if he had a different girl with him every hour that he was at the party. Stepping across the threshold of the house, Hallie couldn’t help but be in awe of the decorations, as Daisy did a wonderful job. But she was also pondering why she kept making jabs at Alfie’s flirting habits. Perhaps it was her way of keeping herself from getting hurt. If she expected and set herself up for the worse, then her night wouldn’t be ruined. It made sense in her mind.
Looking around the room, Hallie could tell the party had barely begun. She should probably have gone to see Megan, thank her for the party, blah blah blah. But the two girls had a bit of a falling out recently, and Hallie could only guess that it once again stemmed from the fact that Megan didn’t want to deal with her Peyton issues. Truthfully, Hallie was kind of over it. When Megan wanted to admit it, she’d be there. If not, then Hallie was done trying to get them to see what everyone could see with ease. But it didn’t matter to Hallie anymore. It wasn’t her business, and she wasn’t going to get involved anymore. So with nothing left to do, Hallie walked over to the nicely stocked bar, ordered herself a fire whiskey, and decided to wait there for her date. Knowing Alfie, he’d want a drink eventually, if he showed up that is.

We’re gonna get dressed up For the time of our lives With everything that happened last week with Frankie and her babies, Lily felt wrong celebrating Halloween with a party. Her mother always told her not to let tragedy define her, and to try to live life as normal as possible. But the fact of the matter was, Frankie lost her children, and almost lost her life. And so she felt guilty celebrating the holiday with Megan Aldridge’s party, even if it was her favorite holiday. Honestly, Lily wanted to go home to the Potter house, make a bowl of her chocolate popcorn, and watch scary movies until she fell asleep. A little boring, perhaps, but Lily honestly just wanted to escape from the world for a little bit. She didn’t do too well under pressure, and in the time that Erinn needed a friend, Lily ultimately failed. No amount of words on Lily’s part would have been sufficient enough to ease Erinn’s pain. As the day of the Halloween party approached, Lily was more certain that she should just spend her favorite day at home. There was nothing better than mountains of candy collected from going trick-or-treating, but Lily just wasn’t in the mood this year. Nor did she really want to go to a party, where she would be surrounded by food, decorations, and other people. Namely Slytherins. Who Lily tended not to get along with. However, the more Lily tried to convince the people around her that she didn’t want to go, the more that they said the opposite. It was hard to be in the party mood though. She didn’t have a date, she didn’t have an outfit, and she didn’t have the spirit. But it seemed like her friends and family had a different mindset, as Hugo, Louis, and Ryan insisted that she attended. With not much choice left, Lily reluctantly agreed to go. Standing inside her massive walk-in closet, Lily picked out a blue strapless dress, which ended in her tossing another dress behind her on the floor. The mountains of clothes sitting on the floor behind her were growing and Lily’s options were shrinking, and Lily was ultimately failing. The ginger typically wasn’t such a girl about her outfits, but when it came to formal events and parties, she went all out. Even if she didn’t exactly want to be there. Ginny tried to help her daughter out for a few moments, but Lily wasn’t entirely sure what kind of look she was going for. After several failed attempts, and her mother walking out to attend a conference, Lily decided to just give up for a while and see what was on the television. When she saw that her favorite movie at the time, Black Swan, was on, Lily gained the inspiration she was looking for. Hopping up from her bed, Lily rushed to the back of her closet, searching frantically for the perfect dress. The ginger remembered getting this dress as a present from her grandmother a few months ago, viewing it at the time too depressing for a formal function, but perfect to portray a disturbed ballerina. She took a shower really quick, letting the hot water soothe the aches she received from practicing Quidditch hardcore over the last few days. Once done, Lily experimented with several hair styles, before deciding that she would just leave it with a natural curl. Honestly, the girl wasn’t up for going all out tonight. With the hair done, Lily glanced over at the clock to see how much time was left. With still two hours until the start of the party, Lily decided to do her make up the muggle way, by hand. It was time consuming, but doing her makeup kept her mind off of what to expect for the night. She honestly doubted that very many Gryffindors would show up. Scratch that, if any house other than Slytherin showed up. Satisfied with her hair and makeup, Lily shimmied into her black tutu dress. With her dark makeup and curly hair, the disturbed ballerina look was achieved, and Lily was somewhat happy. Add the proper accessories, and she was ready to go. However, the outfit had to pass her father and mother, so Lily travelled downstairs, where the Potter couple was in an important conference with the Minister of Magic. Interrupting for a second, Lily asked how she looked, receiving a sarcastic beautiful, now go away from her father. As she quietly climbed back up the stairs, Lily couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness. It was moments like those that Lily wished she had a normal family, so her parents would pay a tad more attention to her. Upon her arrival to her bedroom, Lily flopped on her bed and turned on the television, catching the end of one her favorite Halloween movies. If Hugo, Louis, and Ryan were serious about her attending the party, then they would have no problem with coming to get her.

Oh it’s gonna be a big night We’re gonna have a good time Parker Warrington loved parties. With every skating competion, there was an after party, regardless of who won, and sometimes he enjoyed the party more than the event. He had a habit of going overboard and waking up in unknown locations, but a blackout meant a great night. Of course, Parker would never tell Talan of his actions. His brother didn’t approve of his need to skate, and Parker highly doubted he would be okay with his younger brother partying. Mr. I-wear-suits-at-age-five was all about academics and making a life for himself, but from a young age, Parker was diagnose with ADHD, which, later mixed with dyslexia, made it nearly impossible for Parker to focus on his work. Which of course lead for the boy to slip into the party scene, much to the disappointment of his older brother, and just live a life of fun.
One of his favorite holidays as a child, really who didn’t love getting free candy, Parker didn’t spend all too much time getting ready. Not one for creativity, Parker just dressed up in normal clothes, grabbed his least favorite board, and headed out to the Aldridge mansion. The more time he spent getting ready meant the less time partying, and Parker definitely wanted to get his fill in. Thankfully, Talan was off being the Minister’s slave for the night, so Parker didn’t have to worry about the disapproving stares from his brother. Not that it would have stopped him all too much anyway, but Parker did care about the approval of his brother.Using a portkey that Megan so kindly set up for those that could apparate, Parker headed over at a reasonable time. He was quite impressed by the decorations of the place, but it didn’t surprise him too much. Megan Aldridge knew how to throw a damn good party. As evident by the fully stocked bar that Parker so graciously made use of within the first few minutes of being there.
Firewhisky in hand, Parker made his way through the crowd, looking for someone he knew. Unfortunately, he bumped into Hallie Cauldwell at the bar, a sight that disgusted him, especially since his boy Alfie fancied her. Honestly, she was only good for one thing, doing his homework. But Parker was good, and he didn’t say any degrading comment to the girl, even if she did deserve it. Making his way through the crowd, Parker said his hellos to the random kids that came up to him. Not being vain, Parker was a pretty chill kid. But he wasn’t interested in the fifth years that thought they were cool, he was looking for one person in particular. A blond person. A very hot blond person.
Within a few moments of the search. Parker found the girl he was looking for. From the back, she was straight up hot. From the front, Parker could practically drool over the girl. It was too bad she was all for a relationship with a girl. Not that Parker was opposed to a threesome. Making his way over to where she was standing, Parker found himself grinning at her outfit. Man, did he love Halloween. Megan! My love. Great party here He smiled, as he allowed his eyes to take in the sight. Don’t you look lovely. He took a sip of his drink, officially starting the night.

To be honest, Louis was a bit worried about Lily. She was usually just as up for a good adventure as he was and to see her so down in the dumps was sad. Louis was a family man and anything that bothered someone in his family was bound to bother him as well. However, he didn't really get why she was so worked up over everything. Sure, he got that she was friends with Erinn and all, but it didn't mean that she had to sink into any sort of depression over what was happening. He was bummed that Frankie was hurt, sure, but he wasn't going to let it ruin all of his Halloween plans or anything of the sort. He certainly wasn't unsympathetic by any means, he was just realistic about it all. So, he was going to do what he could to make sure that Lily let it go and just had a good time that night.
Assuming that he was going to have to go get Lily himself, Louis had started to get ready a bit earlier than he would have otherwise. It didn't take all that much time, but he did have to shower and get into his costume. Which, he might add, was pretty damn cool. Louis had grown up around muggle things, since his grandfather was pretty fascinated by all of it and one of the things he himself had come to love was muggle films. The things they could think up was pretty damn awesome, even if the wizarding world often had quite a bit of it already. One of Louis' particular favorites was Star Wars and even though the majority of the people at the party probably wouldn't know what the costume he was wearing was of, he didn't really care. He knew he was cool dressing up like Luke Skywalker, even if no one else did.
Pulling his costume on with a grin, Louis gave himself a quick once over before deciding that he looked good enough to get out of there and go pick up Lily. They were all due for a good night of fun, what with all the bad things that had been happening around the school. First the kidnappings, now this thing with Frankie. Even if Louis wasn't exactly a "party boy" he was definitely glad that they had something to take their minds off of all that and just let them all be kids again. He wasn't the biggest Megan Aldridge fan by any means, but he had to hand it to her, it was a good idea. Leaving from his dorm, Louis started to make his way over to Hogsmeade so that he could floo over to the Potter's neighborhood and walk over to pick up Lily. It wasn't the most convenient way to get things done, but it was the best he could manage since he couldn't yet apparate.
Walking in through the door of Honeyduke's Louis picked up a bag of Lily's favorite candies, just to help put her in a good mood already. Giving the owner a grateful nod, Louis popped into the fireplace and flooed over to one of the nearby businesses. For safety purposes, you couldn't floo directly into the Potter household, so it was a good ten minute walk to get there. Rapping on the door for a moment, Louis grinned at the guy that opened the door. "Just here to get Lily. We're going to a party," Louis explained. As part of the family, he was ushered into the home, quickly heading up the stairs to Lily's room. Not wanting to just barge in, Louis paused outside the door and knocked. "Hey, Lils, you ready to go? We don't want to be late," he called out, assuming that she was probably in there still.

Bottles popping till we can’t stand You keep it rocking till 6 am In Dean’s house, holidays were just another day, nothing distinguishing them for being special. Throughout much of his childhood, Dean’s parents spent their days campaigning for his father to be elected the next Minister of Magic, neglecting the celebration of major holidays. Therefore, Dean never really understood the excitement surrounding Halloween or Christmas, and it wasn’t until he came to Hogwarts that he realized they were supposed to be celebrated. But even now, in his seventh year, Dean didn’t give holidays much though, letting the day come and go just like the normal rest. In fact, the only reason why Dean was going to Megan Aldridge’s party, especially after everything that happened with his cousin last week, was because Kaiya wanted to go. And while it was true that they didn’t have to do everything together, Dean couldn’t say no to her or a party.
Always one for muggle sports, Dean managed to pick up a basketball uniform a few days before the party. He had one of his first year fans tweak the outfit a bit to say Ravens instead of Tigers, clearly signifying his pride in the Ravenclaw house. Changing fast and giving himself a quick glance over, Dean apparated over to the location of the party, because the sooner he got there the faster he could leave. Kaiya promised that they would only spend a few hours at the party, and then do their own thing, indicating that he would get lucky. Sex wasn’t everything for the boy, he obviously loved playing Quidditch quite a lot, but if he was going to suffer through a few hours of the party, then he should get something out of it. Something to look forward to in order to get him through the night.
Dean didn’t know how much longer Kaiya would take to get into her costume, so he elected to just meet her at the mansion. Arriving at the house, Dean was admittedly quite impressed with the decorations. Almost inch of the house was dressed in some Halloween themed item, although Dean highly doubted Megan did any of this herself. Rich people typically didn’t prepare parties themselves, they had people to do that for them. Walking over to a few people he knew, Dean made the usual small talk, while scoping out the rest of the room. He saw an alarming amount of Slytherins, a sight that unnerved him, a few Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, and hardly any Hufflepuffs. Oh it was definitely going to be a fun night. From across the room, Dean spotted Hallie waiting at the bar, thankful Chase hadn’t shown up yet. He didn’t know why he felt such a great need to protect the girl, but he just didn’t want to see her hurt. The week leading up to the kidnap had been bad enough, watching her sink into a depression. Focusing back on the people in front of him, Dean wished for Kaiya to hurry up and get there, if nothing more, to keep him entertained.

We’re gonna get dressed up As the hour of the party approached, Lily began to get antsy. Flipping through the channels on her television, she didn’t find anything worth investing her time in, and although she checked every five minutes, there were no new messages on her phone. Honestly, Lily didn’t know whether to be upset as it was going to be a long night, or excited that her friends weren’t giving up on her and dragging her along. Fortunately, she didn’t have to wait long, as a light knock came from her door. Quickly turning off the television and jumping off the bed, Lily rushed over and threw open the door, only to reveal her one of her favorite cousins dressed in a Jedi uniform. Louis! She excitedly exclaimed as she threw her arms around his shoulders in a warm welcome. Lily knew Louis would come for her, because he was always one of having a good time; not to mention the fact that he hated seeing her sad, and would no doubt try to change that.
In Louis’s arms, Lily felt relaxed, almost like nothing could touch her. Pulling back, she admired his costume, lightly chuckling and playfully hitting him on the arm. Lily had watched the Star Wars movies enough to know what he was dressed as, and she thought it was awesome. One of the reasons why Lils loved Louis so much was because he thought outside of the box, and she was quite jealous that she didn’t think of a cool costume. Shrugging it off, Lily spotted the bag of peppermint toads from Honeyduke’s, her all-time favorite candy. Snatching the bag from him, Lily popped two into her mouth, letting the candy hop around in her stomach. Aw, Louis, are these for me? You shouldn’t have but thank you so much! Smiling, Lily agreed that it was time to head out. Leading the boy down the stairs, Lily made her way over to the fireplace, grabbed a handful of Floo powder, and arrived in the Aldridge Mansion.
Upon arrival, Lily didn’t see anyone that she was particularly in the mood to talk to at the moment, and from the looks of it, neither Ryan nor Hugo had shown up yet. The disturbed ballerina made her way over to the punch bowl, hoping it wasn’t spiked yet, and filled two glasses. Handing on over to her cousin, Lily made note of the festivities around her, enjoying herself more than she thought she would. Thanks for forcing me to come Louis. It’s not all that bad. She rolled her eyes, and looked around for people she knew. Not that she didn’t love Louis, but Lily wanted to catch up her own friends. For the past week, Lily had spent majority of her time on the Quidditch pitch. Without much luck, the ginger gave up on her search unsatisfied, becoming more interested in the giant bins of candy floating around. Digging her hand into one of the containers, Lily acknowledge the existence of Louis. So. What’s new?

Carleigh stood in front of the mirror, her reflection looked back at her, sighing silently as she did. She honestly had no intentions of showing up to Megan’s party until a few nights ago. Ever since she found out about the murder, the girl had taken up a whole new personality, a seemingly unrecognizable one compared to the old self. Usually Carleigh would be all over a party like this, getting ready for hours before. Well, not this time. She peered over at the clock standing on her nightstand. “Ugh. I’m already late,” she mumbled to herself. The girl slid into her costume dress and fixed her blonde curls around the headband. Hair and makeup had been taken care of a few minutes prior to dressing, as usual. Carleigh turned on her heel and sat down on her bed to put her boots on. Any outfit wouldn’t be completed without heels. It was a necessity. Now she could be considered ready. The girl stood up and apparated to the party.
Craaack. Carleigh appeared standing in front of the mansion, a familiar sight to her. It had been a while since she had been here last and as usual with Megan, it was quite an adventure. The blonde walked up the steps, the pointed heels of her boots clicking against the surface as she made her way inside. The party was already quite busy, which was expected seeing as she was quite late. No matter, the party didn’t actually start until she walked in. Tonight she was going to get her drink on and get plastered to the point where she wouldn’t be able to remember her own name. Someone would take care of her and send her home, or she could just crash here knowing she was always welcomed.
Carleigh’s icy blue eyes scanned the room seeing many familiar faces, none that she was actually fond of. Ah. She spotted Megan talking to Parker. Strutting over there, a devilish smirk curled her deep pink lips. “Aye. Anyone want to join me with shots to start off the night?” She asked them both. A few rounds of shots and she’d be fine to sleep with just about anyone. Tonight was her night to let loose. Let the fun begin.

Kaiya was meeting Dean at Megan’s Halloween party. It wasn’t often that she actually went to parties because it was difficult for her to be surrounded by that many people. Sometimes it got a bit overwhelming, but tonight Kai was feeling confident with her ability to suppress her cravings. Plus her costume was quite ironic. The thought of it made her smile a bit. Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, she was a vampire in wolf’s clothing. No one would really understand the irony, except for maybe Dean. She hoped that he would like her costume. After all, it was quite sexy.
Kai walked down the stairs, practically floating. Her method of transportation for the night was the Floo Network. She had no intensions of being drunk enough to miss her stop because for her it wasn’t physically possible. Dean, on the other hand, would probably be intoxicated within the hour. Kaiya didn’t really mind, she would look after him and keep him from getting into too much trouble. The boy was actually quite entertaining when under the influence. As long as he didn’t puke on her, there would be no problems. In fact, if he can walk on his own at the end of the night, he would be rewarded.
Tossing some Floo powder into the fireplace, green fire flared and the girl stepped into it. She counted the stops as they whizzed past her until it was her time to step off. Kai emerged from the green fire inside of Megan’s mansion. She brushed a bit of soot off of her sleeve and then walked into the room where the party was taking place. Her brilliant blue eyes were drawn to Dean like a magnet. She walked up to him and snaked her hands up his chest. Standing on her tip toes she whispered in his ear, “You look sexy in any uniform, you know that?”

Bottles popping till we can’t stand You keep it rocking till 6 am Bored and uninterested with the conversation his friends were in the middle of, Dean brought his drink to his lips. It was his third one since getting there only an hour ago, but it wasn’t like there was anything better for him to do. At least not until Kaiya showed up and the real fun began. Fortunately for him, it didn’t take too much longer for his girlfriend to show up. Feeling a pair of hands on his chest, Dean turned around to see a very hot blond in a wolf costume. Well thank you. But don’t let my girlfriend see you. She might be jealous. He leaned in and kissed her in greeting. And you, Miss. Zeller, look very nice as a big bad wolf. Perhaps even better once out of it. He muttered that last part in her ear. The boy slid an arm around Kaiya’s shoulders, saying bye to his group of friends.
Casually strolling over to the bar, Dean ordered two new drinks. He knew the girl couldn’t get drunk, being a vampire, but he also knew that it would help suppress her cravings. And although Dean knew that Kaiya could take care of herself, the boy always looked for ways to make it easier for her. Admittedly, Dean was quite impressed with the things she had to go through every day. So what do you want to do? We could dance. Or drink. Or make out. Or go home. It’s up to you. Honestly, Dean wasn’t going to put in any effort tonight, and would rather just enjoy doing whatever Kaiya was up to.

The excited response that Lily had to his appearance definitely made Louis feel a bit better about taking her out. She had been in a pretty crummy mood, so the fact that she seemed pleased to see him there was an indicator that she needed to go out and have a bit of fun for awhile. It would do her some good to just hang out and not worry about any of the things plaguing her thoughts. Of course, what better way to accomplish that than to go to what was arguably one of the biggest parties of the year? Even if they didn't go as hard as some of the others probably would, that didn't mean that they weren't going to have an absolutely amazing time letting loose, dancing and just being themselves. Returning her hug with a wide grin, Louis stepped back to see what kind of costume Lily had come up with.
It wasn't nearly as cool as his own Jedi costume, but it was alright for a girl. Though, there were probably tons of cooler costumes that she could have gone with. Letting go when Lily took the candy, Louis was quite pleased to see that he had done good with that gesture. "Of course, of course. Figured you'd need some sugar to get you in the party mood," he chuckled. It always made Louis feel better to see that his family was doing alright. He hated when they were anything less than happy and if there was ever something he could do to fix it, than he was more than willing to try it. Bounding after Lily with an excited grin, Louis prepared himself to take off with the floo powder for the Aldridge mansion. He hated the feeling of flooing places, but he supposed it wasn't the worst thing in the world and it got him where he needed to be.
Upon their arrival to the mansion, Louis did a quick check around to see who all was there. He knew the majority of the people, even if he didn't really talk to many of them all that often. He was the kind of guy that didn't have a problem floating around the party and just talking a little bit to everyone. Which seemed like what he would probably end up doing once Lily found some of her mates. "Hey, yeah, no problem. Anytime kiddo," he said with a nod and a smile as he accepted the punch she had brought him. It didn't taste too funny, so he hoped that it didn't have anything outstandingly weird in it. Turning back to Lily with a bit of a shrug, Louis couldn't really think of anything that he'd done of importance lately. "Ah, nothing too major. Just been hanging around and stuff. How about with you?" he asked, looking to her with a smile.
