Things have changed in the wizarding world. Some years ago the Ministry made some shocking decrees. Half-bloods and muggle-borns are no longer equal to purebloods. Half-bloods will be employed by pureblods in their homes and claimed at the age of 17 by a pureblood family. Muggleborns were stripped of their wands and are subjected to nothing more than slavery. Freedom and equality are not taken for granted anymore...they are something to fight for, something to aspire to. Something most people don't have the right to have anymore.
Some purebloods try to help, others simply make life hell for everyone else.

The Minister of Magic position has been disbanded and instead the Council of Nobles rules the Wizarding World. The positions as Governors of Hogwarts goes to the second born child to the Noble Families. These are dark times we live in....
