viktoria amara krum was actually excited for her date with tristan. she had high hopes that it wasn't going to be at all awkward like the dates that she was forced to go on with talan warrington by their parents. she tried her best not to think about the whole arranged marraige, because she was actually in love with a guy she just wouldn't ever admit it to herself, yet. viktoria wasn't really a relationship type of person, she never was. she didn't date often but sometimes she did. she's had a couple of flings in the past, but they've never went anywhere. vik doesn't hook up with guys, she's a hopeless romantic but she's very picky about the boys that she chooses to date.
viktoria got dressed quickly into nice clothes and started brushing her hair in front of the mirror. there was hardly ever a moment when viktoria wasn't dressed nicely but of course there were times when she would just wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt, usually that was after quidditch practice or work. apart from quidditch she was always dressed nicely, not dressy... nicely.
viktoria continued to brush her hair absentmindedly. she didn't want to leave the ravenclaw dorms just yet. she wasn't sure if tristan was going to meet her outside of the common room or not, but she was pretty sure that he was. she really wanted to eat at a place that had edible food, nothing like the food that talan and her ate on their dates. the food was barley even edible and when she was trying to eat it she had to hold back barfing. the food looked horrid and it tasted horrid.
viktoria stopped brushing her hair and threw on her coat and put on her boots. it had started to snow just a bit ago and she didn't want to get cold. something that vik hated more than anything was being cold. during the winter she dressed in many layers and always had more than three blankets on her at night at hogwarts and at home. the krum manor is freezing during the winter because it's so cold and difficult to heat it all, so she wears layers and walks around the manor with a blanket or two.
vik made her way to the common room and from there she left to find tristan. she saw him right outside the ravenclaw common room with his back towards her. she ran towards him quietly and hugged him from behind. "trisssssy, you smell nice... and yeah, never dye your hair, i might have to kill you if you do that." she whispered to him and laughed lightly.

Tristan Charles Weasley anyone who knew that name knew his unpleasant personality. They knew everything associated with Tristan Charles Weasley was negative, for the most part. But what they did not know was that at one point Tristan was pleasant and had friends. He had it all. Then something changed. His father died and after that unfortunate day Tristan turned into a harsh, cold person to the world. He lost his friends day after day till all that was left were a select few, but even then no one really was all that close to him.
That was until Viktoria Amara Krum entered his life. She was gorgeous, she was intelligent, she had a mind-set he had not seen in years. But the most important thing, she did not really want a relationship. She did not mind the brief fling that he had in mind. But that brief fling turned into something more. Friendship but now that friendship has turned into something more. What it exactly was, Tristan did not have the faintest idea. All he knew was that he was not going to tell her, he just could not.
She was already engaged. Sure she despised the boy, but she was taken. Sure they were more than friends, but in the end nothing more was going to come from it. It was all for fun. Yes he often told her he loved her but nothing more was going to happen. No, nothing more could happen. After Hogwarts she was going to be married, but for now. He was going to have fun and today was one of those days of fun.
The fact that today and its funs was not going to last was and should be the last thing on his mind. Actually it did not even appear while he prepared with a quick shower and proper, warm clothes it instead decided to appear when Tristan left the Gryffindor common room and headed towards the Ravenclaw tower. But instead of letting it ruin his good mood Tristan thought of the good times ahead. The pleasantness and fun that came with hanging out with Viktoira. A girl who did not mind his sarcasm and cruelty. It was something rare that he did not want to loose, but no one knew this. No one at all and that was how it was going to stay.
Sighing softly, Tristan ran his fingers through his dirty blonde hair as he walked past the Astronomy towers and after a few more steps he finally reached the Ravenclaw tower and it had not even been five minutes when he felt Viktoria’s embrace. But it did not take long for him to realize who it was as he commented, After shave my Mum bought me for Christmas, that I jus showered and as for killing me, I’m certain a lot of people will call you a hero if you do. Though Tristan wanted to stay in that embrace, he felt some what awkward and quickly broke free but not before he turned around and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek after murmuring, Come on let’s go. Grabbing her hand Tristan began walking in search for the exit.

viktoria hadn't even had the time to take a shower before the date. she had quidditch practice and from there she had to go to work for a couple of hours and then she had less than an hour to get ready for the date. her schedule on fridays and on the weekends were pretty busy. viktoria was an overachiever and was always busy, but she liked it that way. she liked being busy all the time, one thing that she hated more than anything was having nothing to do. it wasn't just at hogwarts that she was busy, at home, too, she always found a way to make herself busy by going into the field behind the mansion just looking for something to do or practicing quidditch. quidditch always kept her busy and so did taking care of her many rescued animals that her family all hated.
so that was why he smells do damn good, viktoria thought to herself. one thing that she loved about guys would be how amazing they smelled. she could never in a million years be with someone who smelled really bad. and of course vik was always smelling nice too, today she smelled like lavender, which was the exact same scent that she remembered her mother having. her father still has the bottle of it in the old room that they had shared before she had died. after shave my mum bought me for christmas, that i just showered and as for killing me, i’m certain a lot of people will call you a hero if you do. viktoria shuck her head at that comment, "i wouldn't have to agree with you on that."
viktoria loved hugs and anything of the sorts. she didn't really think that their embrace was awkward but as time went on and they were still in the embrace she did think for a moment that it was getting a bit awkward. she smiled at him, the way she always smiled at him. she couldn't explain the way that tristan made her feel but it did include a warm feeling in her stomach. some would call it love, but she wasn't going to tell him that. it would ruin everything. they continued walking, searching for an exit. they finally made it outside and when they made it outside viktoria automatically felt heavy snow on her coat. she leaned her head against tristan's side, as if it was going to protect her from everything.

chuckling softly, tristan remarked, i know a few people, like my head of house, the head master, who would praise my death. i’m certain a few other kids, like the ones who end up falling for my pranks, would thoroughly enjoy and praise my death. the only people i can really think of who would be upset over my death would be my mother and you. he gave her a quick affectionate kiss on the cheek, for no reason really, as the two found the doors that led outside. as viktoria leaned in even closer into tristan, he released his hand from her’s and instead placed his arm around her.
as the two found their way towards hogsmeade, tristan curiously asked, so, anywhere in mind vik? he did not mind the location, as long as he had viktoria nearby within hearing and talking distance. though the snow did hit viktoria, he tightened his grip allowing the girl to lean in more towards him hoping that his rather large stature would be like a shield, slightly as he murmured softly but loudly enough for viktoria to hear, you smell lovely by the way, very floral.
soon after several more minutes of walking they found themselves in hogsmeade surrounded by various groups of students, some on dates just like themselves while others simply just hanging out. but instead of paying attention to the people around them tristan casually said, so, you know how you asked for just sweets for christmas, i got you something more. though hidden from the view of everyone, tristan was clutching a rather long velvet box which held a viktoria’s present.

viktoria didn't like how tristan was mean to bascially everyone, she would actually prefer it if he tried to get along with people. she had tried talking to him before about it but got nowhere. people didn't like him, so he didn't like them back. as long as he wasn't mean to her then she would be fine. "you're right, i would be terribly upset." viktoria would be lost without tristan, he was one of her only 'real' friends. sure, she had plenty of friends but none of them were as important to her as tristan was to her.
viktoria actually had no idea where they were going to go. she hadn't really thought about it till tristan asked her just a few seconds ago. "what about... the foodosaurus?" it wasn't that bad of a place and she's heard of some good reviews from her friends and such about the place. "as far as i know they got some good reviews." vik leaned in a bit more towards him. at this moment she really regreated not wearing a hat. she had a hood but it didn't really even cover most of her head, it was just for show, so her hair now was covered with a light layer of snow. "thanks, it was my mothers, she used to wear it all the time." that was one of the things that stood out to her when it came to her mother. the perfumes that she would wear were amazing but the one that was the best was the one that vik was wearing at the moment.
viktoria's eyes wandered to the groups among hogsmeade; various groups of girls giggling like a bunch of fifth years, they actually were fifth years. probably hadn't gotten over the cootie factor, yet. vik started to smile but quickly frowned. she had told tristan that she didn't really want anything from him for christmas, but he went and got her something. "tristan, you really shouldn't have," she pouted like a little kid and then smiled. she thought it was sweet of him that he got her a present. but she hadn't gotten him one, she had been so busy with quidditch and work that she had barley thought about presents for her friends and tristan. "i didn't get to get you something, now i feel bad."

laughing softly tristan murmured, haha that's very nice to know. the fact that viktoria was one of the few he did not even mind being around constantly was surprising, especially after his father's death. he became someone not many could handle, but for viktoria he found himself being nicer and kinder. correction, he found himself attempting to be nicer and kinder which was something he never really did for anyone other than his mother.
an eyebrow went up a the name of the restaurant before commenting, foodosarus? interesting restaurant title, but if that's where you want to go then alright. having not been around and about in hogsmeade since his father's death, he did not recall many of the stores, excluding honeyduke's who was owned by his older cousin, victoire weasley, who he visited time to time to ease his mother's worries but also because victoire was like a sister to him.
as viktoria leaned in closer he murmured softly, ah, you should always wear it. its nice. normally tristan despised perfumes and colognes, especially since most teenagers wore too much and became unpleasant to the nose, but viktoria instead wore the perfect amount; not too over-power, but pleasant enough.
as they neared the restaurant, tristan shook his head while explaining himself, i asked for a date and we're on one, so that's enough of a gift. but this, its something i wanted to…or really, felt the needed to do. briefly releasing viktoria from his grip and took out the present. putting the velvet box in viktoria's hand he offhandedly said, something for…being there. he did not know how to explain. tristan normally was someone who was charming and had the right words, but for viktoria he was at a loss for words.

viktoria had been very busy since the start of the year with quidditch. the only places she had been were the places where she went with talan on their 'dates' that their parents set up. apart from the restaurents that had food that wasn't digestible she didn't know any others. vik shrugged, "i've never ben, it should be good." a friend of hers worked their and said that it was pretty good.
ah, you should always wear it. its nice. viktoria smiled and murmured, "thank you and i will." viktoria smiled and felt small butterflies in her stomach. she normally hated the feeling of anxiety but with tristan it was different. it was a good feeling of anxious-ness.
viktoria nodded, "but-." she had started to speak but was interupped by tristan. she really had wanted to get him something but the time went so quickly. it felt like the beginning of december was just yesterday and now it's the end of it. where had the time gone? "tristan.." she started to say but forgot what she was going to say when she saw the long velvet box that was for her. viktoria felt the nice velvet texture in her hand. she took one of her freezing hands that had turned a rather pinkish color from the cold and opened the box. viktoria was speechless when she saw the necklace. she didn't say anything, she just looked at it. viktoria finally found her voice and what to say, "tristan, it's perfect, i love it." vik's cheeks were pink from the cold but also because she was blushing a bit. "can-can you put it on me?" viktoria turned around and moved her hair so that he could put it on her.

murmuring softly tristan commented, let's hope its good then, but being with you will be enough to forget about the food. cheesy line, yes, but sincere yes. that was the way tristan was, at times. actually more like that was the way he was with viktoria. she influenced him in a way that he could not explain. everything he did, nowadays, were influenced by this girl. someone who he had not expected to change hi s life so drastically, but she was not really his. she was talan's which meant he could not be feeling the way he did, but he felt it.
mentally groaning, tristan shook his head and instead changed the topic, no if, ands, or buts. its a present from me to you, i don't want anything in return except your time. again another cheesy line, but that was effect viktoria had on tristan. the craziest side of him came out, it was unexplainable but it was something he did not want. actually, no. he was glad it came out for her, the problem was he did not want to loose her, but she was not his. so that meant he could not be feeling this way, even if tristan was the type to get what he wanted, no matter what.
carefully clipping the necklace on viktoria's neck he murmured softly as he stepped in front of her, perfect. as he took in the image that was viktoria, he was in awe. but as soon as he felt what he was doing, which was staring, he shook his head and grabbed her hand while saying, come on, let's go inside. it'll be warmer.

viktoria loved the cheesy lines coming frm tristan. she thought that they were cute and not like the tristan that everybody knew. viktoria didn't realize how important she was to tristan. she knew that they were basically best friends who fancied each other at least a little bit but she didn't know that he felt that certain way towards her. she felt what he felt. the only thing in the way right now would be talan. she wished that her parents had never made that arrangement for them to get married, but they had. ever since viktoria was little. her mother had no say in it; it was just her father and romilda who decided it. the divorce between her mother and viktor was very complicated. they divorced when vik was two but it wasn't finalized till she was almost six. neither of them wanted to let go. but it was all for the right reaons; they had fallen out of love.
"fine." viktoria said with plenty of attitude, something that never happened when she spoke. she always spoke with ease and no attitude at all. viktoria held onto the necklace when she saw it above her chest. it was a beautiful, she couldn't believe that tristan had picked it out by himself. she watched him stare at him, she was actually staring at him. she couldn't believe that she had him, well, he wasn't hers. he wasn't even close to being hers but sometimes it felt like they were eachothers. "yeah, lets go inside." she squeezed his hand and walked inside with him behind her. "it's warm," she smiled as she stood in the front. a man, about the age of twenty, give or take a few years was standing in the front also and asked them how many. it was obvious that it was just them two. "just two, please." she said, sweetly. viktoria was just naturally sweet. she couldn't harm a fly.

tristan charles weasley plus cheesy lines equals extremely unexpected. they were things that he never thought he would say, but he found himself saying them often. whenever he saw viktoria one would come out of his mouth after the next. it did not matter who was around, they always came out.
laughing softly tristan spoke in an amused tone, i love you too vik. he knew viktoria very well and knew that the attitude given to him was not typical. but typical and expected were things that did not happen often with tristan, if they did it would have been a very boring life and that was something he did not like.
as he looked at viktoria a rather bright smile appeared on his face as he began to think of the day when he went and purchased the necklace. it took him a while to actually find the perfect one, he had seen various types but the moment he saw the one he purchased. it was perfect. it was simple yet elegant.
the moment the two entered the restaurant the bright smile stayed on his face as he murmured, mh'm. after a few minutes of waiting for a table, a table became available and they were taken over to a table next to the window, heh, they gave us a table with a nice view. after a few minutes of sitting down talking, a brunette waitress in her mid-teens came and introduced herself, hi, my name is shay. i'll be your waitress today, i'll come back to take your order. as quickly as she came she left which led to tristan ask, so, do you have any idea what you want to eat? a warm smile appeared on tristan's face as he waited for viktoria's response.

viktoria looked out the window when she sat down. "mhmm, yeah, it looks pretty with all of the snow. but it's bloody cold outside." viktoria smiled small and took off her coat. she fixed her hair and attempted to take all of the snow off of her hair but it was no use, they weren't going to budge. they were already melting, so it didn't really matter all that much to her. viktoria smiled at tristan when she looked at him. whenever she looked at him or thought about him or even when his name was brought up in a conversation, she smiled. she couldn't help it. he also brought butterflies to her stomach, it was the effect that he had on her and he didn't even know it.
viktoria looked away from him for a moment to see the waitress; a perky little brunette. viktoria was annoyed by girls like that. they were just too happy. viktoria used to be like that, then her mother died and she became less perky and hyper. she was much more relaxed and cared more about other people than herself. the girl quickly walked away to take care of other tables. tristan asked her what she thought about getting, she hadn't even looked at the menu yet. "uh, the sandwhiches look nice." the steak and cheese sandwhich looked the best to her, the chicken one, too. not the chicken salad sandwhich, the other one. viktoria is not a person who is going to eat salad's on a date or anytime at all. she likes chicken and steak [not together]. she likes food a lot and doesn't care if there's a boy watching her eat. she eats nicely, anyway, not like a pig like other people. that's just how she was raised.

though he was not willing to confess this aloud, seeing as it seemed mushy and gushy, tristan enjoyed the cold weather. it gave him an excuse to cuddle with viktoria, when given the chance, while watching a movie or whatever. so instead of commenting he kept quiet and just let the smile on his face do the talking for him.
chuckling softly tristan looked at viktoria with warmth in his eyes as he commented in a teasing tone, i'm rather surprised, no salad? going straight for meat? it was something he loved in a girl. someone who ate food instead of a bunch of leaves and rather large portions. it was food, something that was meant to be a form of nutrients not something meant to diet.
rather than reading the menu like other customers, he instead stared at viktoria. it was something he found himself doing often and something he could not help. she was gorgeous and brilliant, bewitching really.

viktoria smiled, she wasn't like most girls. she didn't like salads all that much and had never once gone on a diet before in her life. "ew, no. salads are gross." she laughed at herself, she sounded like someone who didn't eat nutriciously. she actually did on rare occasions. she just loved candy and sweets. she did eat food that were good for her though, she's not a total sweet-tooth.
viktoria looked at the menu to decide what she wanted. they were in complete silence. she just hoped that it wouldn't be like that the whole time. like the many setup dates she was forced to have with talan. viktoria looked up from the menu and saw tristan looking at her. she blushes a bit and couldn't help but smile at him. "what are you looking at?" she smiled more and more as she looked at him and waited for an answer.
not pretty. idk. and short. blah.

a soft chuckle escaped tristan as an eyebrow went up before commenting, wow, ew? from a girl, that's good though. i like a girl with a hearty appetite. it reminded him of his mother. she was a woman who loved cooking and eating, but some how she managed to stay skinny. it was something he always had looked for in a girl, being able to enjoy food rather than starving themselves just for the sake of looks.
a rather bright smile appeared on his face after a brief, chuckle he said, i'm not looking at a what, but a who. a bewitching who. but after a few minutes more of staring he turned his head down towards the menu. flipping around he ended up at the sandwich page before saying, i'm going to get the spicy steak cheese sandwich and butterbeer, what about you? as soon as he made up his mind, he closed the menu and resumed looking at her.
the smile that normally would fade stayed on tristan's face. after a few minutes of staring, tristan turned his head toward the window before saying, remember when i asked you if you wanted to visit me over the holidays, are we still up for that? normally tristan did not care much for friends visiting, but viktoria was different. she was someone he wanted his mother to meet.

viktoria smiled, she was definatly not like those girls that only ate a certain amount of calories per day. she loved food and loved cooking it. it was one of the reasons why she hated all of the places that she went to with talan on their monthly arrangements. she hated the way that food tasted at those restaurents. vik felt that all food should taste good, not like dog crap. all her life viktoria had been skinny and she's always ate whatever she wanted to. she didn't care if she gained weight or not, she didn't gain any weight anyway.
viktoria smiled again at his comment. she couldn't help but smile when she was around tristan. even though they weren't together, she sometimes felt like she was his and he was hers when they were together snuggling or snogging. she wanted to be in a relationship, but they both knew that she was arranged to marry talan. but that doesn't mean that she can't be in a relationship until then, right? tristan seemed to not want a relationship and she told him that she didn't, but really she did. "hmm... butterbeer and, hey! i was going to get that. you read my mind, no fair!" he didn't read her mind, but she just liked to tease him. "i'll be getting the exact same thing as you, copy cat." she put her menu on the table and crossed her arms, then pouted like a puppy.
viktoria's pout turned into a smile the second he brought up the holidays. she held her head up with her hand and looked at tristan. she was very much in love with him, she just didn't admit it to herself yet. "of course, i would love to." christmas away from her father, romilda and nika was something that she had been looking forward to for a long time. plus she wouldn't have to go to the stupid dinner party on new years eve where everybody gets drunk, even vik did, last year. she would be given a lot of questions a lot of the wedding and when they were planning on having a child. it was horrible and this year she really didn't want to go through it unless tristan was there with her.
