Marcus Leon Aldridge
twenty-nine, former beauxbatons, super awesome, bookstore owner


This here is Marcus, or Marc if you want. He's the eldest of the Aldridge children, and possibly the more mature of all. Unlike most of his family, Marcus attended Beauxbatons while his family lived in France. And through his Beauxbaton years Marc excelled pretty well in his grades, somewhat in his social life, but failed at romance. He's not much of a charmer, and could care less to have any relationships, because they kind of all end the same. Plus down the road he found himself fancying both genders, which he exempt himself from ever telling his family/friends, and found it easier that way. At the end of his Beauxbatons years his family moved away from France, but Marc stayed put, leaving his family for about seven years now. Until the sudden disappearance of his mother, however, he recently has returned to his family in England, trying to get back into there good grace. He hopes to later patch the wounds of his broken family, taking care of both his father and younger siblings, basically being a parent himself. He also owns Tomes and Scrolls, books seemed to be his passion, somewhat, so he bought it.

Friends: Okay, I assume he'll have a few, but not right away because he's basically new to the whole Hogwarts/Hogsmeade scene. If you are his friend though, he'll treat you like or close to family, he knows his boundaries, and respects your privacy. He'll get into your personal life when it counts, just to protect you and all, but other than that he's pretty respectful. Enemies: I don't really know, but I'm sure you guys are smart enough to figure out who'd hate him. Lovers: Anyone will do, no gender preference here. He probably won't have time for much romantic things, he's too busy trying to fix what's left of his family, but you can try if you want.

Lexi is quite a bit younger, but she'd think
he was cute if she saw him around and would
love to talk to him and everything.

ARI+MARC:
Ari would flirt with him. A lot.

COLBY+MARC:
Colby would think that he's pretty
cool and would chat him upp.

FEL+MARC:
They're a lot closer in age and both are from
important families, etc. So, they should be
good friends. Fel would definitely visit him
at the shop when she had time to chill out.

MEGAN+MARC:
Megs would be extremely standoffish to him
at first and would generally be a terrible bitch.

NATE+MARC:
They're both from important families and such,
so I imagine they'd know each other at least in
passing. Now that they work around each other,
though, I think they'd get along as mates.

ROY+MARC:
Roy would probably pop in to say hello now and then.
He'd be his typical self and suuch.

austin in new to england. he's visiting from australia. austin likes to explore, so i think he would pop into tomes&scrolls just to see what it was about. he's not much of a reader, but if he finds something interesting he will. i can see these two being friends, though there is a pretty large age gap. oh and austin is a total romantic, maybe he can help marcus?

carleigh would think he is way hot and try to get in his pants, but she would never be caught dead in a bookstore. also, she is pretty good friends with megan and has spent time at their house in france, though if you try using her to get megs to turn to the good side of the family, it wouldn't be too productive because she doesn't really care.

holly&marcus;;
holly went to beauxbatons until her 5th year and then was transferred to hogwarts starting her 6th. she lived in france and comes from an extremely wealthy family, so maybe their families know each other? holly probably wouldn't spend much time in a bookstore because words frustrate her, though she would try a few times to see if things get better.

kaiya&marcus;;
kai practically lives at the bookstore. she is extremely organized and very good at helping people. maybe he offers her a job there? kai would be nice company for him to have around.

morgan&marcus;;
so morgan here is his little sister, megan's twin. she loves everyone and is a total optimist. she is the good side of the family. despite having megan as her sister and influence, the girl has remained innocent over the years. she's never had a boyfriend or slept with anyone, only a peck on the lips in her fifth year. she is devastated by the fact that her family is falling apart, so she's been scrambling around trying to fix things. she'd be relieved that marcus came to help her. oh, and she'd probably ask him to do some ridiculous favors for her like asking him to dress up as santa and go have dinner with erinn thomas because she can't stand to see anyone disappointed or upset.

rory&marcus;;
rory is a chaser for puddlemere united, so her name is thrown around quite a bit. he'd probably know of her. she's known for doing crazy tricks on her broom during games. she pops up in the most random places, so she'd probably end up in tomes&scrolls every once in a while. rory would chat with him and probably annoy him because she's annoying and talks really fast.

ruby&marcus;;
ruby is a former ravenclaw that is now an intern in the ministry of magic. the warringtons are a family of elites, so i'm sure they would have heard of each other's family. being a former raven, ruby likes to read, so she used to be a frequent customer of tomes&scrolls, but work has sort of taken over her life. she's always running errands for the ministry and is usually always completely stressed out. when isn't working, to get rid of the stress, she goes to clubs and drinks until she can't stand up, has sex with someone, or she'll go to the bookstore and read until she gets kicked out. ruby would probably flirt with him if she was somehow torn away from the book she was reading. i smell some scandal here. maybe sex in the bookstore? idk. just an idea. she's not into relationships though, so this could work for them.

sasha is the keeper for the harpies and a former slytherin. i don't think she'd go to a bookstore, but if she saw marcus around, she would probably chat with him.

Oh jeez, Marc wouldn't dare get involved with someone so
young, especially his sister friend, probably would make
Megs hate him more.

He'll need all the help he can get, I think he only has one employee

He'll probably do all that crazy stuff, he's a push over that way.

He's not as up front like his slytherin siblings, probably
would make some excuse to slip away from Rory, or just
let her keep talking.

Ruby + Marcus
That would hot, but Marc wouldn't know what to do with
her. He'll probably stumble everywhere trying to avoid
the who sex thing xDD
She can still try, I mean, who knows?

she's dyslexic and has ADD, so helping her would be quite a task. she would probably give up easily, but i can see marcus trying to convince her to give it another chance.

she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, so she probably wouldn't be bothered if he ignored her or made up some excuses. she gets that a lot since she's sort of crazy.
