The Library was a place that Madison didn't often visit. Ever. In fact the Library was such a foreign place to her that she had to be given directions to find the place. She'd received some funny looks when she'd asked if someone could point her in the right direction but Madison didn't care. It wasn't her fault if she'd only ever been to the Library like.. once, during her seven years at Hogwarts. The only reason she was making a second visit to the library today was because the Professor had claimed that she had to write a ten page essay on the Poly Juice Potion, due to the fact that she was so far behind in class. To say that Madison was very unhappy with this task might have been an understatement.
Entering the Library, Madison stalked her way over to an empty, secluded desk and dumped her book bag on the table before dropping into a seat. "Stupid Professor..." she muttered, folding her arms across her chest. For a moment Madison contemplated not doing her essay. But even she knew that she was getting into hot water where her school work, or lack of, was concerned. Not doing this essay would be a little foolish and she'd probably end up with a months worth of detentions. Not good.
With a sigh, Madison dragged her bag from the table and pulled out her parchment, quill and ink. Placing it neatly on the table, she sat and stared down at her equipment, unsure of what to do next. Glancing up, she looked around at the other students sat dotted around the room and decided that she'd need some books on the Poly Juice potion to get her started. Ugh, Madison really hated studying and homework. Today was going to be a long day.

Justin Davies picked his potions notebook up off the desk and tucked it under his arm, sighing. He had a paper due in a few days, might as well get a head start on it. This boy wasn’t the type of badass Slytherin that would never complete assignments or act like a total bastard to other people. He worked hard to get to the places he wanted to be and was content with what he had.
Making his way up the moving staircases, Justin walked across the castle to the library. He was smart enough not to need books on the subject, but it wouldn’t hurt to add in a little extra information here and there. Stepping over the threshold into the silent room, Justin shot a little charming smile over towards the librarian who dropped the pile of books she was carrying on the floor. Papers spilled out, scattering in all directions. The boy calmly walked over and picked up a green book with copper lettering. “Mind if I borrow this?” he asked, scooping up the rest of the papers and handing them back to her.
The boy turned on his heel and walked toward one of the tables, throwing his books down and plopping down in one of the chairs. Justin pushed his chair back a bit and propped his feet up on the desk. Reaching for the potions book, he looked across the surface and recognized one of his fellow house mates. “Hey Madison,” he said, “Fancy seeing you here.” A slight, playful smirk curled on his lips as he opened his book to chapter seven.

This had to be the longest and most boring day ever. After having spent the last half hour looking for the stupid potions book that she needed and coming up empty handed, Madison had given up, deciding instead to spend her time sat at her desk doodling on her parchment. Scratching at her parchment with her quill, Madison repeatedly wrote 'Potions sucks' over and over along with angry cartoon faces that looked a little more like some kind of weird sea creature than a human face but Madi never had been a brilliant artist. Blowing out a sigh, Madison dropped her quill and moved to fold her arms on the tables surface before dropping her headed down to rest her chin on them. "Potions sucks."
When a heavy thud rocked the table, Madison immediately jumped up, a glare ready on her face. "Hey!" she whined. Her frown quirked up into a smile however, when she recognized the face sat across from her. "Justin, hey!" she cheered, happy to see someone she knew joining her. "What are you doing in this horrible place?" she half joked, half moaned. Really, she couldn't understand why anyone would come here of their own free will. Maybe to make out in secret in the restricted section but not to study. That was just weird.
