every part of hogwarts was covered in snow; from the castle to the lawns. celeste loved everything about it. she loved snow and she loved hogwarts. if she hadn't gotten her acceptance letter to hogwarts she wouldn't know what she would do with her life. celeste always knew that she was different. she was never interested in the same things that her brothers were, but when she got that letter everything changed. she was a happier person, not as cold hearted like before. of course she's still a little spit-fire, she'll always be like that.
celeste walked outside onto the lawns and saw some first years making snow angels. it gave her an idea, she would make them too. she hadn't made a snow angel since she was a little girl. she never found time during the winter to make them, she was always busy with studying and currently carmeno. car was a curious person for celeste to be hanging around. but she ended up loving his company. they didn't hang around often and when they did it was when not many people were around. celeste remembered the kiss that they shared the day before. it was a passionate kiss. celeste wanted to feel that again with carmeno and hoped that it wasn't just a one time thing.
celeste laid on the ground making snow angels. she looked up as it started snowing and smiled. she felt like a little kid again, she hadn't felt like this since she was litearly a kid. she was always busy, always rushing, always growing up. she missed the days that she would spend with her brothers playing in the snow, having snowball fights, she loved it all. celeste was in a good mood, something that didn't really happen all that much. celeste grinned, then frowned when she saw someone standing over her. she didn't know who it was so her first instinct was to make a sarcastic remark but then she saw that it was car and got up quickly and carefully, she didn't want to mess up her snow angel. she brushed some snow off of her sweater and her leggings before saying, "so how long were you staring at me for?" she brushed some snow off of her hair but it kept snowing so she shrugged it off and looked at carmeno.

Normally a man who dismissed women and their desperate pleas to have a relationship Carmeno found himself in an odd situation. He wanted, no craved, a relationship. An actual relationship and it was with not any girl it was Celeste Anne-Marie Laurent he wanted this relationship with. Not only was she a Muggle-Born, but a Gryffindor. Two things his parents would frown upon if they ever heard, but something his Grandmother would love. It made Carmeno's life interesting and complex, but what was adding to this confusion was the fact that the two had a recent kiss. One that was filled with passion, not some playful, teasing one that they often shared as a joke.
An eyebrow rose as he began walking about on the snow-covered lawn. It was a familiar blonde haired girl that caught his attention, but what added to it was the fact she went from standing to falling right onto her back onto the snow. It was an odd thing to do, at least that was what Carmeno thought as he walked over until he saw for himself what the girl had made. Shrugging in a casual manner he commented, Wouldn't know honestly, but does it matter? As he looked down at the blonde girl a faint smile appeared, but as soon as it appeared he forced it away as he attempted to keep a neutral expression.
Taking out a long two-toned blue velvet box, Carmeno began playing with the ribbon. Normally a boy of confidence, somewhat close to arrogance, it was odd that he had a rather nervous expression on his face. Exhaling sharply he stuck the box out toward the blonde girl while speaking in a somewhat neutral tone, A gift, my way of making it up to you for being an arse and making life unbearable for you. Though staring at the ground seemed tempting he instead kept his hazel eyes locked onto the blonde blue eyes.

Celeste knew that he wouldn’t understand the term of ‘snow angels’. He was a pureblood and most purebloods don’t know what snow angels are. It’s a muggle term and only muggleborns and some half bloods know about them. Celeste didn’t mind that she knew about a lot more things than other people at school. They knew about more things that had to do with magic than she does. She was raised as a muggle so she knows more about muggle things than witch things. Having muggle parents is actually good for Celeste, they don’t know enough about dark magic and what it means to be a Slytherin. They wouldn’t disapprove of Carmeno like how other parents would be who had a Gryffindor as a daughter. Celeste was thinking too much ahead, she didn’t even know if her and Car were going to last till Valentine’s Day alone last long enough for him to meet her parents. ”Well, it would if you were standing there for the past five minutes, that would be kinda odd.” Celeste smirked when she saw a small smile appear on his face, and then frowned when it disappeared. She wondered why but didn’t really think about it all that much.
When Celeste saw the blue box she smiled but it quickly faded once she thought about how much it had costed. Her family was never wealthy, at all; they were always pretty tight when it came to money. She never asked for much during Christmas and birthday time. But they managed to get by. They weren’t poor but they weren’t wealthy like many people at Hogwarts. They were somewhere in the middle, closer to poor than to wealthy. But they were happy the way they were. They had plenty of love to go around and that’s all that they needed. ”Car…” Celeste started to say but didn’t know what to say afterwards. She took the box in her hands. She opened the box and saw a beautiful and delicate necklace that had ‘C’ on it and the color of her eyes. She wanted to frown, but she couldn’t. So she smiled small. ”You shouldn’t have… It’s perfect.” She whispered softly and looked up at Car. ”You know that you can’t buy affection with jewelry.” Celeste frowned the second the words came out of her mouth. ”I’m sorry, that was mean—natural instinct, sorry.” She handed him the box before saying, ”Could you put it on me?” she turned around and moved her blonde hair to the side so that he could put the necklace around her neck comfortably.

Murmuring softly he looked down at the figure the girl made and realized what it was, Snow angel… Though it was the first time he had actually seen it, he had read about it in the many Christmas books and had seen them in many Christmas movies. Something not many people knew was Carmeno's interest in Muggles. Everything about them intrigued him which explained part of his attraction toward the blonde.
Though he was a Pure-Blood Carmeno had very little interest in the Dark Arts. It did not matter that his Father was a Slytherin and his Mother was a Ravenclaw, a darker one but a Ravenclaw nonetheless. Everything Carmeno did was for himself, to an extent.
Being old money he had everything in the world and then some, even if he got cut off from his parents he always had his Grandmother who was still alive and well with a lot more money than his own parents. Though he had been neutral the entire a soft chuckle escaped him as he said, Same ol' Spit Fire… Clipping the necklace closed Carmeno's faint smile appeared once again but instead of commenting he just stayed there smiling and staring at the blonde Gryffindor.

"yeah, how'd you know?" celeste thought that it was curious that he knew about snow angels, them being a muggle thing and him being a pureblood and all. celeste wondered how and why he knew about muggle things such as snow angels. he didn't seem like the type of person to be intrigued by muggle things but he didn't seem to have any problems with cel at the moment and she's a muggleborn.
celeste turned back around and kept her gray-blue eyes locked on his hazel ones. she didn't really know what to say in this situation. they had kissed yesterday, it hadn't been their ordinary playful kind, it was something much, much more. she didn't know where to go from there. "thank you," she finally said, just above a whisper.

A faint smile, not a smirk which was quite surprising since a smirk was what was usually on his face, appeared as he commented, There's a lot you don't know about me. This is was true. Most people who met Carmeno believed him to be a rather lazy genius which was true, but what they did not know was his interest in Muggles and art.
Sure he was charming and witty, but the situation he was in right then he felt clueless and ridiculous. Chewing on the inside of his cheek he just nodded and kept silent. After a few minutes of complete awkward silence a sigh escaped him as he managed to find something to ask, How are you today?

celeste wasn't someone to just not date around because the person she loved hated her. she didn't wait him to figure it all out. she knew that he was completely clueless but she didn't know that it would take years for him to figure it all out. "oh really? tell me more." she said with a bit of attitude attached to it. i'm serious, tell me what i don't know about you." she didn't break her lock on carmeno's eyes. she actually did want to know about the things that she didn't know about him. celeste looked at him with interest.
celeste never once regretted waiting for carmeno. the night before she had thought about it but the thought faded away quickly. celeste did regreat a summer fling. she was head over heels for the boy but he ended up dumping her for a slytherin. everybody knew about it afterwards, too. he was one of the more popular guys at hogwarts, everybody knew who he was. it broke her heart and ever since then she hasn't been able to really show her emotions for a guy like she used to. that all happened the summer after fifth year. she was still trying to figure out her feelings for carmeno. and he was off snogging a girl every night in the corridors, that's just what celeste thought. celeste shrugged, "i've been better. during potions today professor cauldwell paired me up with potter, i swear it was the worst decision she's ever made. he blew the cauldron up and i think he planned it to catch on fire, probably not." she shrugged. celeste wasn't very good at potions but not as bad as albus was. "enough about me, how was your day?"

Carmeno was not the type to date, at all. He shagged a few girls, had a few flings, but that was it. He never felt the need to go beyond one night stands and flings, but that was until a few years ago when he realized what he felt for Celeste. For Celeste he was more than willing to give it all up. It was odd and unexplainable, something he never told anyone excluding his Grandmother who was more than willing to support Carmeno's decision.
Chuckling he began listing things he was certain Celeste was unaware of, I'm actually intrigued by Muggles, I do not support the Death Squadron, I've never had a relationship, but I am now interested in having one with a certain blonde little lady. It was not exactly the way he wanted to go and ask her out, but it slipped out. It was something he could not take back and he had no intention of taking it back.
Chuckling softly an eyebrow went up as he commented, You still are horrible with Potions, aren't you? I finished all of my work in class, but nothing as interesting as a cauldron blowing up and catching on fire. Teasing as his tone was it was the truth, nothing as interesting as that had happened him.

celeste raised an eyebrow as he listed the many things that she didn't know about him. as he said that he would like to have a relationship with her she blushed bright red and looked away from him, avoiding his gaze. "well-. that's nice, i didn't know any of those things about you."
"i'm not that bad at potions anymore! it was all albus' fault. and i'm getting better thank you very much. i was a lot more horrible second year. you were pretty bad, also." celeste looked up at carmeno, her blush slowly fading. even though celeste was being civil with carmeno, she was still being her usual stubborn self. the fact that they had feelings for each other didn't change her, except that she tried a lot harder to be nicer to him. it was working up until this point.
