Even though Lily has a very outgoing personality, there is one thing she absolutely despises: people asking about her father. Lily loves her family to death, but her parents have become a bit of an annoyance to her. She used to think going to parties and interviews all the time was fun; but having light bulbs flashing in her face and answering the same question about how she planned to carry on her father’s legacy tended to get overplayed. She often becomes jealous seeing young girls spending time with their fathers, wishing she had the opportunity to enjoy some time with her own. But he was always away, trying to keep the peace between the Death Squadron and the Marauders. As far as school is concern, Lily tries her best to get the highest marks, in an attempt to make her parents proud. She knows her father will love her no matter what, but Lils often feels bogged down by the weight of her name. Her only wish is to emerge from the shadows of the Potter fame, and create a name for herself.

It is quite rare for the girl not to be surround by people, of any house really. Lily hates being alone, and doesn’t really care for the whole house rivalry, unless that person has done something specifically to her or her family. She often hesitates before letting someone into her circle of trust though, because a lot of people are out to get her family, so she might come off as a bit standoffish. She doesn’t mean to, but it takes a while for her to know whether a friend is a friend for her, or a friend for her name. However, she is very protective of those she does trust, and will go to great lengths to ensure their happiness.

Well, with a name like Potter, I’m sure Lily will have quite a few enemies. Although she doesn’t believe in the whole house rivalry, Lily is exceptionally wary of Slytherins, knowing that they betrayed her father once or twice. She normally doesn’t hold grudges, especially for something that happened before she was born, so Lily wouldn’t outwardly hate them. She’d just be cautious around them, getting a sense of their character, before she befriends them.

Hmm, well. Lily has had exactly one boyfriendish thing, a boy who’s been in the family for a while. They were never exactly official, but she lost her virginity to him the summer before their fifth year started, and when they came back to Hogwarts, they really haven’t spoken to each other. She currently has a thing for Jordan Boot, but she knows it will never go anywhere, especially since both of her brothers disapprove of him as a boyfriend. So for now, Lily is content with just daydreaming about Jordan, and talking to him at work.
