To say the least, Ryder’s home life is terrible. Her father never wanted a girl, and so he makes her life absolutely miserable. When she’s at home, Ryder does nothing but count down the days until September 1st, the first day of term. When Ry’s at Hogwarts, she becomes a completely different person. At home, she’s quiet, respectful, and generally tries not to be seen. At school though, Ryder is a bit of an attention whore. She is friendly with almost anyone, but has a preference for the seventh year Slytherins, who act like her friends, but are only really using her as a slave. Ryder Lynch loves to lie. Her family doesn’t have money like most Slytherins, and yet she spends her weekends on extravagant vacations on her one of three yachts. Or she has to go home for one of her mother’s parties, where everyone who’s anyone is invited. Truthfully, her father is abusive and her mother is an alcohol. And Ryder often comes to school with bruises on her body, which she covered up starting in her second year by making up a fake boyfriend and crazy sex nights.
when i need a friend
Ryder thinks she’s friendly with all the seventh year Slytherins, but in actuality, they are only using her as a slave. She doesn’t mind though, as long as all the attention is on her. Truthfully though, Ry probably won’t have many close friends at all; at least, the friends that know who she truly is. Ryder put up a guard around her, so people don’t know her situation, which makes for a lonely world. Perhaps Ryder will find one person, of any house, that she can trust enough to give a little piece of herself.
don’t you try to get no closer
Because Ryder has adapted her in school personality to the typical bitchy Slytherin, she’d probably be enemies of those who hate the snakes. The girl would never hate anyone in particular, especially not because of their house, but her parents taught her never to associate with the others. Therefore, she’d probably make some snide remark and have a look of disgust upon her face, but feeling the total opposite.
give your heart a break
Although this girl claims that she has a wild boyfriend at home, Ryder is very much single. She only made up the boyfriend so that one, she looked cooler to the older crowd, and two, she could cover up the bruises she received after every weekend at home. But even though she’s ‘committed’, Ry is very interested in the field, and definitely wouldn’t hesitate to someone sexing her up.
