As her brother comforted her, Ellie smiled. It always worked, ever since they were practically babies. When Felix moved one arm to pick up Erinn, Ellie knew that at least somewhat their plan was working. She kept her arm around her brother, and buried her head into the crook of his arm. "Yeah, bubs," Ellie said, agreeing with her friend. "I don't wanna go home just yet, can we go somewhere else?" She looked up at him, her eyes still watery from when she had been crying, frowning. Ellie figured that her and Erinn would have a better shot of getting what they wanted if Ellie continued to tug at Felix's heart. Very rarely could Felix say no to Ellie if she wanted something and cried about it. Hopefully that would pull through this time.

Going somewhere else seemed like an absolutely terrible plan to Felix. The two had already been lost in France for a few hours and he didn't want to babysit them anywhere else in the world. "I think we should just go home, but how about we stop and I'll get you both some ice cream, hm?" Felix offered, attempting to convince them of this idea with a cheerful smile. He knew they weren't exactly that easy to bribe, but they were unpredictable at times and for all he knew the pull of some ice cream and candy would convince them to just go home. "Then we can go play some Quidditch, yeah? I heard they just fixed up the pitch and it looks nice and shiny," he added. Ice cream and shiny things...that should be enough to get at least Erinn on board, right?

Though she knew Ellie was on her side that they needed an adventure for the day, Erinn had a feeling that Felix would be a lot more difficult to convince. His offer of ice cream and a shiny Quidditch pitch, though tempting, was clearly just a bribe to throw them off their path to freedom and fun. That simply wouldn't do. With a momentary frown, Erinn had to think on her feet as to how they could get themselves and Felix onto a plane. Her eyes dashed about, spotting the perfect plan. One of the terminals that was boarding had quite the ruckus going on with some guy fighting with the flight attendants and it would be easy enough to just slide past them without anyone causing them trouble. Without thinking on it further, Erinn grabbed Ellie's arm and dropped from Felix's grip, sprinting with Ellie towards the magical, glorious plane. She didn't know where it was going, but it probably wasn't going home. They just had to get on it, find a seat, and everything would be okay.

Even though staying in France longer sounded horrible, going home still sounded pretty bad to Ellie. They were on an adventure, and she wanted that adventure to be fun, not just boring and scary, like it had been so far. Ice cream? Seriously, Felix? she thought, frowning, looking down at the ground. She knew he was trying to market to Erinn with the ice cream, and Ellie hoped she wouldn't take the bait, even though Ellie guessed Erinn wanted to go somewhere new just as much as she did. As he started to bargain with Quidditch and the shiny pitch, Ellie looked up at him, her eyebrows creased, her face in a pout. That was just low. She watched as Erinn starting to sprint, and as she grabbed Ellie's arm, Ellie ducked out from under Felix's arm and followed suit. "Stupefy," Ellie whispered, pointing her wand at the attendants around the gate, allowing them easy access to the escape plane. She was worried about Felix, since she didn't want to leave him in France by himself, but she knew her brother, and it would surprise her if he wasn't hot on their heels to begin with.

Were Felix dealing with anyone other than Ellie and Erinn, he probably wouldn't have been as alert and on guard as he was. However, he knew that the odds of them coming along quietly were completely nonexistent and that he would likely end up chasing them through the airport or something equally exhausting at some point. So, when the girls took off, Felix was just a step behind them and ready to clean up their mess or drag them away to somewhere safer. However, before he could catch them and take them elsewhere, they were being ushered onto one of the planes to god knew where and Felix was clearly unhappy. The girls, on the other hand, were positively thrilled to be going on an adventure. At that point, there was no turning back and Felix found himself seated in the middle of a bouncing Erinn and Ellie on a plane to somewhere. Felix really was not happy.

In the mad dash to the airplane, Erinn had honestly had no idea if it would legitimately work. So, when they managed not only to get onto the plane, but also to stay on the plane, Erinn was about to explode with excitement. They were on a plane, they were going on an adventure, and they still had the flag. There was no way it didn't turn out to be the best day of their tiny little lives. Probably even more than a day, if they were lucky. Felix didn't seem too pleased, but he was always a little grumpy. "Ellie, Ellie, we're on a plane!" Erinn announced, excitedly chattering to her friend over Felix and reaching over the boy to swat at Ellie's arm. She didn't know where they were going, but it was bound to be better than the middle of noplace in France. Besides, Felix would protect them, so she had no reason to worry.

Sitting in the airplane, Ellie couldn't believe her luck. Felix hadn't killed them, hadn't stupefied them and dragged them on the next plane back to Scotland, or hadn't shoved Erinn on a random flight to South Africa in the hopes to never see her again. And for that, Ellie was relieved. As her friend slapped her arm, she couldn't help but smile. "We are, Erinn, we are!" Even though Felix looked like he was ready to kill them, Erinn always tended to lighten the mood. He was sitting stiffly on her left, looking at the back of the seat in front of him. She scuffed her feet on the floor of the plane, then looked up at her brother. "Brudder," she said, leaning her head on his shoulder and grabbing his hand, the way they did when they were kids, her other hand on his forearm. "I love you, you know. Thank you for not killing us." She nodded her head towards Erinn, who now appeared to be counting clouds out the window.

If you had to ask Felix anything about Dante's Inferno, he would certainly assure you that Dante had clearly missed out on the tenth level of hell. He would know, as he was currently in it. Ellie and Erinn were charming young girls, but they were not the kind of girls that you would ever want to be stuck between for an indefinite amount of time on a plane. Not at all. Closing his eyes and letting out another deep sigh, Felix was trying to come up with one good reason why he shouldn't kill himself. You're too pretty for that, Felix. Stay strong, chap. He only hoped that reason was enough to last for the rest of the trip. Glancing over when Ellie rested her head on him, Felix still had a particularly grumpy look on his face. Though, it softened slightly at her comment. "I wouldn't kill you, bug," Felix said, even if he had been considering smothering Erinn with the travel pillow for the last fifteen minutes.

Knowing her brother was clearly upset, Ellie snuggled up to him tighter. Usually him being there made her feel better, like if she had had a nightmare or had gotten in trouble, but in this case, she knew she was upsetting him, and that upset her. Except the excitement about going on an adventure was worth it, even if Felix was just a tad miserable. He'd get over it. He always did, when it came to her. It was the best part about being the baby sister. Ellie looked up at the screen that was placed in the back of the seat in front of them. She poked at Felix's, her left hand still in his. "Muggles are so cool sometimes," she whispered, stabbing at the buttons, ending up in the Games section. She couldn't tell if Felix was as amused as she was, or if he even was at all. "Ooh, bubs, we can play chess, or battleship. Can we play battleship?! I mean you can always say no, prevent your inevitable defeat." She looked up at him and smiled, eyebrows raised.

Resigned to the fact that there really wasn't much he could do to get out of the situation, Felix decided that he may as well at least try to enjoy himself there on the plane before they figured out where they were when they landed. Leaning forward a bit, Felix rested his head in his hand as he looked at the screen. Muggles were strange creatures, but this was definitely pretty cool. "I'm going to play solitaire. Play with Erinn," Felix decided with a nod. Perhaps they would both quiet down if they had something to distract them with. Erinn was in the corner singing something or another about a puppy as she watched the window and he'd quite prefer her being quiet. "A good game of chess would be perfect for you two," Felix nodded before starting up a game of solitaire on the screen in front of him, though he found himself growing quickly bored with the game. Poking around on the screen a bit more, Felix's face turned up into a very small smile when he found a sports channel to watch. Football wasn't so bad, really. He could watch that for the rest of the ride and maybe the girl's would leave him be in his happy little world of sports.

The sky was pretty. Erinn had quickly decided that flying in planes was the greatest thing ever on the face of the planet. She could get pretty high with her broom, but this was an entirely different level of high. She briefly considered finding a way to jump out of the plane with her broom, but that plan was quickly foiled when she came to the realization that she didn't have her broom with her. Perhaps she could summon it on the way down. That would be something to consider later. Hearing her name, Erinn's attention perked up and she quit singing under her breath, flinging herself onto Felix's shoulder with an excited smile. "Feeelix, you should play with us. Be on my team, Felix," Erinn requested, though she had no idea what game they were going to be playing. Prodding at the screen a bit, Erinn found that there were a lot of interesting looking games. "Ellie, Ellie, Ellie. Let's play Candyland. I challenge you to a game of Candyland," Erinn requested, clicking on the game and looking over at Ellie with an eager grin.

Feeling a bit disconcerted about being turned down to the game, Ellie let go of Felix's hand and crossed her arms, looking out into the aisle. "Whatever," she mumbled. She noticed a flight attendant talking to a family, whose kid was crying. She hadn't even noticed, her ears probably too distracted by Erinn's song about puppies. Hearing Erinn's voice, she turned over to see Erinn with a big smile on her face, pointing at the screen, while Felix looked oddly determined for a game he wasn't very good at. "Sure, Er, Candyland sounds lovely," she said, turning onto the game. They played mostly in silence, except for Erinn calling out the colors as she drew them and making sound effects as either of their pieces moved around the board. Ellie knew she was destined to lose as soon as Erinn drew a card taking her to Princess Lolly, while Ellie was still back at the peanut brittle house. Ellie took her turn, then looked over at Felix, who was now staring straight at the screen, watching Muggle football. She was still mad at him, although she couldn't completely remember why, but she was. She reached over and shut his screen off, making it go black. Erinn, however, was none the wiser, yelping and singing a song about how she had drawn the color purple.
