The more time that passed since her injury, the better Kris was feeling. In fact, she was getting to the point where she felt good enough to practice for long hours of the day and she loved it. The sooner that she got back to top condition, the sooner she could get back to what she really loved doing. Sure, she was happy enough working and helping heal other people, but Kris had never been the type of person to sit on the sidelines when it came to anything. More than anything, she wanted to be back in the action and she was starting to think it might come sooner than she'd expected. Of course, she was possibly exaggerating her progress to make herself feel better, but that wasn't to say she wasn't improving at least somewhat. Her knee was definitely looking better, at any rate, even if she wasn't back to top form.
Fortunately for Kris, it wasn't all bad having to take the time off from her team. Not having the constant training and games meant that she was able to spend time back in England. Though she absolutely adored being in the States and traveling with her team, it was also nice to be around the people she grew up in school with, as well as her younger siblings. She still had two siblings that were back at Hogwarts and she was able to see them a lot more frequently now that she was actually there in town. Kris cared a lot about her family, so it was hard to be on the road for a large majority of the year, living in the muggle world and playing soccer back home. However, she wouldn't have traded it for anything and she was more than glad to be where she was. Not that Kris complained about much in life anyway. That had never been her style.
That afternoon, much to Kris' delight, she had plans to meet up with her younger brother, Kirk. It had been awhile since she'd seen him in person, rather than just messaging or talking on the phone, so it would be good to catch up and see how he'd been. She'd seen Katherine a few times since coming back to town, but not Kirk yet. He'd had school and she had been working with her personal trainer, so their schedules just hadn't found a good time until then. Kris arrived at the Three Broomsticks a bit earlier than the time she had agreed upon with Kirk, mostly since she had gotten out of her training early, so she found a table off to the side to sit down and wait for his arrival. Bouncing a bit in her chair, it was obvious that the young woman was quite excited. Smiling at the waitress as she came around, Kris put in a quick order for just two butterbeers, figuring they would get here around the time Kirk did.

Hogwarts was a place that Kirk loved to be at. He enjoyed learning magic at the school. Besdies it was also a great place to have a good time with his friends and also to play some quidditch. Kirk loved to play the wizarding sport and thought that his position as beater for the house team was a lot of fun. Besides he thought he was a pretty decent beater. Although honestly the boy loved playing almost any sport. He liked being active and keeping in shape. The young lad was also fond of spending time outdoors; he always tried to spend as much time as he could outside.
Which was why earlier that day he had spent some time out on the grounds of Hogwarts, sitting beneath an oak tree. Some of that time had been spent daydreaming and relaxing, but the rest of that time he had worked a little on the Transfiguration essay that he had due. Kirk liked to work on his homework outside sometimes. The way he saw it was that it allowed him to enjoy the fresh air while he also got his work done. The only thing that he really missed lately were that two of his siblings were no longer at Hogwarts with him anymore. Kirk loved his family and loved being able to spend some time with them.
Kirk was excited today as he had made plans to meet with his oldest sister Kris. He hadn't really seen her in a while and was glad that he would be able to do so soon. After his morning spent underneath the tree, he headed over towards Hogsmeade. There was still some time before he had to meet Kris so he decided to stop into Honeyduke's for a few moments. After he had purchased some sweets, Kirk headed for the Three Broomsticks. As he walked into the pub, his eyes scanned the place in search of his sister. He finally spotted her and hurried over towards the table she sat at. Once he was there, Kirk bent down and threw his arms around her in a quick hug before he sat down. He smiled widely as he greated her," Hey Kris. How are you?"

A few minutes after placing her order, the young waitress returned with two mugs of butterbeer. She placed them in front of Kris, who responded with a grateful smile and nod of her head. One of the things that she missed most about living in the Wizarding world was butterbeer, since there wasn't anything quite like it back in the muggle world. It was the little things like that which made it exciting to be around Hogwarts again. Though she would never give up her job as a soccer player, she wouldn't have minded if it were easier to find a good butterbeer when out on the road. Most of her teammates were muggles as well, but her best friend that she played with had grown up in the wizarding world with her and understood just how she felt most of the time. Taking a sip from her butterbeer, Kris eagerly looked back at the door to see if Kirk had arrived yet.
It wasn't much longer after that the bell at the front door tinkled and she saw the figure of her younger brother coming towards her. Waving excitedly at the boy, she returned his hug and sat forward to face him. "Kirk! You look so good. I swear you've grown a foot since I saw you last," she said with an excited squeal. Perhaps she was exaggerating a bit, but it really had been quite some time since she had last seen her brother. It was hard when she worked on a muggle schedule and had to be careful of when she could apparate and that sort of thing. Her eyes were twinkling with excitement as she looked her brother over and took in all the changes he had undergone since the last time they'd been together. "I'm doing okay, though. How about yourself?" she asked, curious to see how he had been doing.
Though she had been in contact with him somewhat, it wasn't like she was able to hear about everything that went on in his life. Now that she was working in London, however, it was likely that she would have a few weeks where she could be around all the time. "Classes going okay? Any girlfriends to speak of?" she asked, tilting her head and smiling at him as she spoke. It was little things like that that she missed hearing about in her brothers life. Pushing one of the butterbeers towards him, Kris took a quick sip from her own. "That's for you, by the way, and if you're hungry for lunch we can order that too. I pretty much have all the time in the world to sit here and talk or whatever, so yes," she nodded, chuckling a bit. Though, she said it with somewhat ill humour, since she was starting to get really restless about her injury. She loved being able to see her siblings again, but she was ready for her knee to heal up and let her get back in action.
