Instead of staying indoors Blakeney decided to find something new to do and though it was rather dark, it was ten at night after all, with the students all indoors Blake headed down to the Qudditch Pitch. It was the perfect spot for star-gazing, roomy and had very little blocking his view of the sky.
However he went alone and decided against taking Aries with him, so he left the phoenix in the tower but the moment he reached the pitch he found himself feeling rather lonesome. But Blake was well aware that no one would be out, especially if they did not want to get in trouble. Then again Blake was not the type to give out detentions, he saw no point in detention since each time a student received detention not all learned from that experience.
Opening the pitch doors Blake began setting up his telescope. A rather bright grin graced his face as he noted the various constellations that were up in the sky. After a few minutes of setting up, by hand, Blakeney took out a notepad and pen from his jacket pocket. Though he had no intention of taking notes he brought it with him just in case. As he began looking through the telescope a content sigh escaped the male vampire. The stars were something that seemed eternal and never-changing, despite the fact that the stars actually might of died many years ago. They were something that constantly stayed by his immortal life, something he craved but would not willing state.

Darkness. The brunette found something strangely safe about the dark. Yes, it was unpredictable; yes it was scary at times, but she felt comforted in the dark for some reason. There was just something so calming and constant about it to the girl, and that was why whenever she was exploring the castle, Evelyn always did it at night. It just added a bit more adventure and mystery to it that she enjoyed.
Tonight, she had decided to explore the grounds, even though she had already done that the first time she came here, but she never did it in the dark before, seeing how she didn’t know too much about the school at the time. Also Evelyn didn’t want to disturb the students, since she was almost certain that all her little adventures were going to be incredibly loud or disruptive at some point or another.
The brunette danced in the hallways, walking normally only when she spotted a prefect, student, or teacher. She didn’t want to be given weird looks or anything by them. It didn’t take long for Evelyn to make it out of the castle. Once she was outside, the girl wondered where to start first. After all, Hogwarts’ grounds were a pretty large place. She was convinced that she could spend days outside, only to discover more things hidden in the corner or something
After contemplating for a few seconds, she decided to head towards the Quidditch Pitch. She had always enjoyed watching the games, so it seemed like a good idea to star there, and the brunette was a bit curious about what could be found there. As she got closer to her destination, she spotted someone in the field with a telescope and smiled. It was quite refreshing to see someone who enjoyed the stars.
Quietly, Evelyn observed the person for a few seconds, before deciding to walk up to him. Perhaps, she thought, he would like some company. “Bonne soirée professeur. Sont vous jouissant le étoiles?” she asked quietly. She didn’t want to bother the professor, so if he didn’t hear her, then that would be fine. The brunette would just carry on whatever she was going to do before.
