When trouble thinks it's found us The world falls down around us

To be honest, even AJ was a bit surprised at how well things were falling into place with her latest scheme. Marcus had approved the idea, they had enough people off that night to come help take care of it all and Jordan Boot was an idiot. Not only had she managed to convince the boy that he had won some sort of contest and passed him off for a "dream date" with another one of the Death Squadron, but she had also managed to nab his messager without the slightest bit of an issue. Men were such horndogs it didn't take all that much effort to just snatch it from his back pocket. It wasn't like he was going to miss it for awhile anyways, since he seemed to be quite pleased with the date that he was set up on. AJ was quite disappointed really, since she had rather been looking forward to at least a bit of a challenge with getting Hallie and maybe a few friends of hers to leave the castle at such a ridiculously dangerous time. Idiots.
When it got to be a bit later and the sun was down, AJ was given the signal to start bringing them over to their location- The Shrieking Shack. It had been a bit of a stretch to get Marcus to agree to kidnapping them from there, given how close it was to the full moon and knowing the history of the place, but AJ had assured him that Ilyana was the only student werewolf there and that she went elsewhere during that time of the month, so generally it should be a safe place to keep the lot of them. Taking the messanger out, AJ typed up a quick message inviting Hallie to come hang out with a few people down at the Shrieking Shack since Jordan had so obviously set up such a big surprise for her and it was imperative that she showed up as soon as possible. Of course Jordan was telling her that. At least, that's what it would appear to say.
Honestly, things like that shouldn't have been nearly as easy as they were turning out. With the Marauders on full alert, it should have been at least a little bit of a hassle to just nab a group of the kids and drag them off somewhere. Well, not that AJ really got to take part in anything once the others showed up. She was, unfortunately, just there for the set-up and once the actually kidnapping started to take place she would have to make her exit and miss out on all the fun. She felt that she at least deserved to see Hallie all tied up and defenseless for a bit before she was forced to leave. However, everyone was pretty adamant about that, since blowing AJ's cover would be quite detrimental, as she was one of the few people working inside Hogwarts that still had the freedom to get around through the other kids and whatnot.
With the message sent and the other Death Squadron members in place, it was now just a matter of waiting to see who showed up. It was assumed that Hallie would bring other Ravenclaws, most likely some of her friends and AJ was pretty happy with her estimates so far. Even if they just got Hallie and maybe Gabby, that would cause enough ruckus to make a scene with the Marauders and possibly come to some sort of agreement. Possibly. They were both fairly high-profile, so it left a good chance that some attention would come for it and that was exactly what they wanted. Settling in behind a copse of trees that was out of the way enough to not cause any sort of problems for her, AJ was quite ready for things to start happening and was more than glad that any second now, they would.

leave all your loving, your loving behind you can't carry it with you if you want to survive There had only been one time in her life when Gabby had been overcome with the urge to squeal like a little school girl. That time had been when she'd received her Hogwarts acceptance letter at the age of 11. That day she'd squealed with glee and had giggled and jumped about her room like an elf who'd overdosed on sugar. The same urge to squeal with glee was taking over her again now and it took her entire will and sheer power to stop herself from making any sort of excited noise. The last thing she wanted was for her roommates to be giving her strange and curious stares. Because although she very much felt like shouting from the roof tops that not only had she told Felix about her feelings, but that there was a very good possibility he felt something for her too, she didn't want to jinx anything by mentioning it to someone before she had the chance to talk to him face to face.
After making her confession, the thought of facing Felix, someone she'd known and had been best friends with for years now, had her feeling nervous, excited and scared all at once. What would she say? How was she going to look him in the eye without turning into a nervous, mumbling wreck? Shaking her head, Gabby took a deep breath to re-organize her thoughts and calm the wild beating of her heart. Honestly, she thought it might burst from her chest at any second. Closing her messenger she tossed it onto the end of her bed and shuffled towards the edge so that she could stand up. Unable to wipe the ridiculously large grin from her face, she didn't think it would be disappearing anytime soon, Gabby stretched her arms up over her head and then went about putting her shoes on.
When Hallie had asked her to come with her to see Jordan and this surprise or whatever it was he had planned, Gabby had agreed to tag along halfheartedly, paying much more attention to her conversations with Felix and Ari. If she'd had her full attention on Hallie she would have told the other brunette that it was a stupid idea for them to leave the castle when so much was going on right now. The school was on high alert, someone had been killed and it was believed that the Death Squadron were behind it. Wandering off to the Shrieking shack to see Jordan was the last thing they should have been doing and Gabby was sort of annoyed that the older male had suggested such a thing when he knew about all of the commotion going on. Still, Gabby was going to go. Hallie had been so down over her break up with Braden that she couldn't bring herself to scold Hallie for wanting to go see what her surprise was. After all, the surprise could cheer her up and everyone knew that Hallie needed some cheering up. The girl had been walking around like she was one of the dead, all gloom and doom. It was unusual and a little worrying since Hallie was usually all smiles.
Tucking her wand into her front pocket, there wasn't a chance Gabby was going to be leaving the castle without it, she wandered over to where Hallie was getting ready and hopped up onto the other girls bed so that she was sat on the edge. "This better be a good surprise or I might have to hex Jordan for dragging us out of the castle." Gabby warned but there was a hint of a smile on her lips as she spoke. notes;; ta-daaah. outfit;; Here words;; 613 lyrics;; Dog Days are over - Florence and the Machine

she will change everything for happily ever after. Shiloh yawned as she made her way out of the Hogwarts castle. Why she was following Jordan and Hallie to this suprise thing was beyond her. She would much rather be sleeping and thinking of how she was going to talk to Gabe Harper. She wasn't exactly the upfront type of girl, but even his sister had told her to approach him. She wondered why he was sad. He was such a nice looking boy. He was always saying nice things and smiling. And he looked good playing quidditch. She smiled, noticing that she liked the feeling of having a crush. One where the guy didn't know yet and you got those little butterflies and the excitement before the guy actually knows about it. But there was just always something about Gabe. She noticed him. And she wasn't sure if he had noticed her yet. She wasn't a loud girl and she wasn't the type to just jump out for attention for attentions sake.
It was dark out and she couldn't help but be a little creeped out. They weren't supposed to be out here at all. Apparently, there was some pretty dangerous stuff going on. She pulled her coat close to herself and shivered. Well, lets hope that the other Ravenclaws were near by. She would feel better if she wasn't alone. To be honest, she really didn't know why she was going out here. But she just so happened to be intrigued about coming out here. She figured they would just be hanging out and all of that kind of stuff. Maybe having a little Ravenclaw party.
As she neared the Shrieking Shack, she let out another shiver. The place in itself was oh so creepy. She suddenly let out a sigh of relief as she saw Gabby Davies. They didn't know each other that well, which was a shame because they were in the same house and everything. She figured that they were there for the same reason. At least, she hoped. Either that or Gabby was a werewolf. Which, she doubted soo yeah. Hey Gabby. Do you know whats going on here? She asked curiously. outfit;herezzwords; Uhmm I'm too lazy to countt. xD lyrics; Beautiful Disaster- Jon McLaughlin

As darkness quickly steals the light that shined within her eyes She slowly swallows all her fear and soothes her mind with lies It had only been a couple of days since Hallie told Braden that they were officially through, but it still felt like just moments ago. She tried her very best to forget about the impurity invading her body, but Hallie just couldn’t. It was as if the very thought of having sex was enough to drive her crazy. And by the looks her roommates were giving her, Hallie knew she was driving them crazy as well. The first week, Hallie had practically spent the entire time crying in her room, or moping in the common room. Which resulted in many Cheer up Hallie!, or strange looks, especially from the boys who just didn’t understand. Unable to take the stares anymore, Hallie dried her eyes when she was out, thus only crying in private. But unlike before, Hallie refused to talk. While she might have been a crying mess before, Hallie would at least talk. Now, the only way for her to say anything was through an e-message.
It wasn’t like she was so upset, that she wished to remove herself from the world. At least, that’s not what she thought her sudden muteness was about. Hallie just couldn’t find the words to say anymore. Nothing would make her world right. The fact was, she made a mistake, she broke up with Braden, and she was at fault for all of her problems. A simple fact, and yet Hallie didn’t have the strength to deal with it. However, fortunate enough for Hallie, she had amazing friends who actually cared about her health, and wished for her to only get better. The girls in her dorm, while they might not have understood what exactly was going on, definitely tried to make Hallie smile with the little things. And of course, there was always Jordan Boot, who Hallie absolutely loved. To be honest, Jordan was probably the only who get Hallie to smile. She didn’t know what it was about that guy, but he made her forget, to a certain extent, everything that was happening in her life. It was as if nothing in the last two weeks happened whenever she was talking to him.
That’s why, although she was already in bed for the night, Hallie eventually broke into his demand for her to come out that evening. She felt like crap, especially when life had a habit of pouring salt into her open wounds. Unfortunately, Hallie had seen Braden earlier in the day, and she wasn’t able to get around the corner before she completely lost it. Perhaps going out with Jordan would be the exact thing that Hallie need to cheer up. Though, they technically weren’t supposed to be going out, as Hogwarts was on some minor lockdown. However, Jordan was pretty adamant about them going out, as he put a lot of effort into the night, and of course Hallie didn’t want to make him upset. Even in the state that she was in, certain aspects of her personality still came out.
Rounding up Gabby and Shiloh, as Jordan suggested for her to bring anyone she wanted, Hallie set off towards the Shrieking Shack, where Jordan told her to meet him. Quite honestly, Hallie had to agree with Gabby, even if she didn’t voice her concern. This surprise better be damn good, for Jordan to be dragging her out of bed, especially with the attack on the dragon trainers. Hallie didn’t know too much about what was going on, but by the message from the Minister, it seemed to be big. She listened in on the quiet chatter between Gabby and Shiloh, becoming more nervous as they approached the gloomy building. All the lights inside were off, and Hallie was seriously getting some weird vibes at the moment. She was wishing with all her heart that Jordan was simply playing a little prank on them. Hearing a twig snap behind them, Hallie jumped and quickly reached out to Gabby and Shiloh. Unable to shake the chills creeping up her spine, Hallie broke her silence. Barely audible, she whispered to the girls accompanying her. Guys. Something’s very wrong here. Feeling as if someone was following them, Hallie quickly rushed towards the safety of the building, where Jordan was waiting for them.

And maybe then you'll hear the words I been singing Funny, when you're dead how people start listening

The recent few weeks had been absolute, utter boredom for Erinn. She was still on the outs with her family, Lily was on stupid house arrest, and her not-so-girlfriend-anymore was in fucking Bulgaria getting married or some shit. All stupid, unfortunate things that had come together to cause Erinn to go completely and utterly mad. Being stuck inside the castle with more or less no one to talk to hadn't done the girl any good and she had been pacing around her dormitory throwing things at the wall and generally being pissy. Most of her roommates had figured out by then that it was generally a good idea to leave her alone when she got that look and the majority of them were off somewhere else avoiding her. If Lily had been there, she wouldn't have left her there to pretty much die. At least, Erinn was pretty sure that she was dying. It was totally possible to die of being alone or something. She'd heard about that before.
Muttering a quick string of curses as the bundle of goo that she'd launched up onto the roof with her wand fell to the floor in front of her, Erinn kicked it across the room to Lily's bed. Everyone was clearly stupid and unfair for leaving her there like that. In fact, she was going to go have fun and do shit all on her own, just to prove to everyone else that she didn't need them. Yeah, that was exactly what she was going to do. Considering it for a moment, Erinn wasn't even sure what she could do that late at night. Most people were probably in their rooms or in the commons, getting ready for bed and relaxing, so they wouldn't be any fun and she wasn't in the mood for causing huge disturbances. No, she needed to do something dangerous. So dangerous that everyone would be amazed by her awesome. She needed to climb down the tower.
To Erinn, climbing down the tower sounded like a good idea. It was just like rock climbing, except she wouldn't have her gear with her. Which, pretty much, was okay with her. Moving over to the window, Erinn pushed it open to get her bearings and see how difficult of a climb it was. That was when she saw the Ravenclaws down there. Whatever they were doing, Erinn pretty much knew that she wanted to be a part of it. Obviously they were sneaking out to do something awesome, so she had to take part in such things. Messaging Lily quickly, Erinn started to make her plans. Tossing her wand over onto her bed, since she probably wouldn't need it, Erinn gathered up a few quick things for a climb, talking to Lily while she was at it. Though Lily seemed to be against the idea of her going out, Erinn didn't see what the big deal was. She'd be with the Ravenclaws and they were too smart to get taken, so she would be fine by default.
When she had gotten her things together, Erinn started on her adventure down the side of the castle. It was probably one of her stupider ideas, but she definitely didn't seem to think so. Finding a handhold, Erinn threw herself over the side and started to work her way down the side. The school was old enough that the sides of the castle were worn and weathered to the point where they had crags and crevices galore, making it particularly easy to get down quickly. She hadn't ever done that on her own or without her wand or broom at the ready, so it was rather a miracle that she managed to touch down at the bottom without falling or killing herself or something to that effect. However, by the time she was at the base of the castle, the girls had disappeared from her line of sight and Erinn had to start speeding up to catch up.
From what she could tell, they had been headed off towards Hogsmeade, so that was where Erinn set her sights. She was moving at a fairly quick pace, so it didn't take her far too long to reach the outskirts of the town and start her search for the group that she had seen walking earlier. They weren't on any of the main roads, which she found rather odd, so she continued off towards the more remote places, hoping that they would be somewhere over that way. Clearly, they had to be somewhere, since Erinn wasn't crazy enough to start imagining things just yet. At least, she rather hoped that she wasn't. She was pretty stir crazy though, so it was definitely a possibility. Her brow furrowed slightly at the thought as she pattered down the street towards the shrieking shack. Stupid people were ditching her once again. Typical.
The longer she walked, the more Erinn felt like perhaps she should just give up the search and return to the castle to find something better to do. However, she soon spotted a group of figures in the near distance and was quite pleased. They were over near the Shrieking Shack, which Erinn found a bit strange, but interesting. Clearly, they had to be up to something pretty damn awesome if they were coming somewhere cool like this. Padding up behind them, Erinn stopped just short of where the girls were standing. "So, what brings you guys out here and such a strange time?" Erinn asked, looking over at them with a curious expression. They probably didn't want her there, but she didn't care. They were now stuck with her.

leave all your loving, your loving behind you can't carry it with you if you want to survive The farther away the three girls got from the castle, the more Gabby felt that they really shouldn't be doing this. Not only were they breaking a huge rule by being out, at night no less, but they were going to the bloody shrieking shack. What on this wizarding earth had possessed Jordan to invite them to the shrieking shack? Gabby knew the older Ravenclaw was a bit of rebel, party guy or something but pulling a stunt like this was both brainless and potentially dangerous. Jordan was going to be in for an earful once they reached the shrieking shack. She'd probably go a little easy on him since he'd gone out of his way to plan a surprise for Hallie but only a little.
Falling in step between Shiloh and Hallie, Gabby rubbed her hands up her arms, wishing that she'd thrown a coat on. It was cold out, so cold that she could see her breath fogging the air before her every time she exhaled. When Shiloh asked what was going on, Gabby replied with a simple "Jordan has planned Hallie a surprise and has invited us down to the shrieking shack." Her voice wasn't all that enthusiastic and if it wasn't for the eery night and the cold air and the fact that they were doing something very stupid, Gabby would have allowed her mind to drift off to fairytale land where she and Felix were mad-crazy in love and.. stuff. Except she couldn't think about that right now, as much as she wanted too, because getting into hogsmeade and to the shrieking shack safe and sound was top priority.
They slowed to a stop as they neared the shrieking shack and Gabby was about to suggest heading inside to see whatever Jordan had planned, when a voice spoke from behind and Hallie bolted. Whipping out her wand from her front pocket, Gabby immediately spun on her feet, ready to shout a hex if needed. Except there was no need because the stranger was another student. One of the Thomas girls if Gabby was correct. Erika? or maybe it was her twin, Erinn. Gabby didn't know them well enough to be able to tell the difference between them. "What are you doing here?" Gabby asked, turning her head to see where Hallie had run off to. She spotted the dark haired girl ducking through the door of the Shrieking shack and frowned. Looking back at Erinn, Gabby glanced at Shiloh before shrugging her shoulders and motioning for them to follow.
It was dark inside the Shrieking Shack and Gabby immediately pulled out her wand so that she could light the space before her. "Lumos." taking a steady breath because this situation was more than a little on the creepy side, Gabby pointed her wand in all directions in an attempt to see her surroundings. "Hallie? Jordan? Where are you?" tripping over an inanimate object, Gabby cursed under her breath and turned so that she could shine her light on Shiloh and Erinn. "Something isn't right. Lets get Hallie and get out of here. She's probably hiding upstairs or something." Wandering further into the shrieking shack, Gabby let out a surprised gasp when her leg was caught on something and she came crashing down to the floor.

she will change everything for happily ever after. Something definitely wasn't right. Shiloh could see the uneasiness in Gabby's face and could tell she felt the same way. Why would Jordan make them come here? Clearly, this wasn't safe. Wasn't someone killed recently? She could see how stupid this was right now. She nodded, as Gabby told her what was happening. She knew that Hallie was in a foul mood lately from her break up with that guy. Right. But something really felt wrong.
As Hallie came up towards them, it seemed like everyone was feeling the same. I don't like this. We should go back. Where is Jordan? She asked... hoping nothing had happened to him while he was on his way here. Shiloh noticed Gabby shivering and shrugged her jacket off, since she was also wearing a sweater under it... and Gabby didn't seem to have a coat at all. Here. She said, handing it to her. She began to think of a nice warm butterbeer and noted that she hadn't eaten since lunch. And she could sure use something to eat. She hoped this wasn't a bit mistake coming out here. If she were to get caught, her parents would kill her. She looked at Hallie and nodded that something was definitely not right.
She heard a voice from behind them and nearly jumped out of her skin. Luckily, it was just one of the Thomas twins...in which she wasn't quite sure of. Oh jeez. You just about scared me to death. She added, holding onto her chest. She said and noticed Gabby and Hallie both running for the Shrieking Shack. Of all places. She notioned for Erinn to follow them. We're going to get into so much trouble for this. She said, biting her lip as she peered through the door of the shack. It was incredibly dark and had a musky smell to it. She nearly shrieked as Gabby tripped, feeling quite paranoid and jumpy, but she held her hand out to Gabby to help her up. Are you okay? She asked, with concern on her face.

And maybe then you'll hear the words I been singing Funny, when you're dead how people start listening

The greeting the other girls gave her wasn't exactly all that welcoming, but that didn't deter Erinn from wanting to find out what the hell they were up to. Whatever it was, it was way better than sitting around being bored in her room. she shrugged a bit at Gabby's question, not sure what exactly to say to that. She was pretty much just there being nosy, which didn't really sound like a good excuse. "I was around and saw you guys so, figured I'd make sure you were alright," Erinn lied, deciding that it sounded like a much better story. Obviously, what with everything going on, it made a pretty decent cover story. As a Gryffindor, she had that whole "let's protect everyone" thing going on anyways, so it was at least somewhat believable.
Giving Shiloh a slightly apologetic look as they started forward towards the Shrieking Shack, Erinn wasn't even sure why they were all freaking out about being out there. It was just Hogsmeade. The stuff that had gone down over in Romania hardly had anything to do with them anyways and the whole "high alert" thing probably didn't apply to them. Not to mention, it was the Shrieking Shack and it always had a slightly creepy feel to it. Obviously, Ravenclaws were just way too jumpy for their own good and it was probably a good thing that Erinn had come to calm their asses down if they got to be all ridiculous. Trailing after them slightly, Erinn poked her head through the door and looked around. She'd never actually been in the Shrieking Shack before and it was kind of lame compared to all the stories that went along with it. Not cool. She deserved a cool adventure.
Whatever weird feelings Gabby and Shiloh had about the place, Erinn didn't get them. Maybe she was just weird, but she didn't see anything wrong with the situation at all. Hallie was probably just up there hanging out and they were dawdling about downstairs being lame. When the other two started to freak out and trip all over the place, Erinn just kind of looked at them like they were stupid. "Chill out guys, it's fine. There aren't actually werewolves in the Shrieking Shack, so I don't think anythings going to get you," Erinn pointed out, shaking her head slightly. Silly Ravenclaws. Sometimes, they didn't really seem as smart as they were supposed to be. Not that Erinn minded, of course, since it made her feel marginally better about her occasional lack of intelligence.
Taking the lead of the three, Erinn started up the stairs to see what was going on. It was pretty quiet, which struck Erinn as a little weird, but than again, Hallie was all kinds of weird quiet lately...so maybe she was just up there moping. Giving a bit of a shrug, Erinn pushed the door to the upstairs room open and ventured in. It was pitch black and Erinn started to look around for some sort of light switch, but before she could do so, someone took her arm and jerked her off to the side. Her initial thought was to scream, but when she saw who it was, she simply gave them all a bit of a grin. This must be some sort of special thing for work that she hadn't heard about and obviously she had to stay quiet and not ruin whatever surprise Klayton and Nate had in store for the other girls.

We're all addicted to our tragedy. I guess it's what it had to be.
When he got home and returned to work for a week, Klayton acted like his entire world was turned upside down. After all, an uncle of his younger cousins was murder by some unexplainable Death Squadron activity. He went around the bar, milking the pity from the ladies for all it was worth, often catching Nate laughing in the background. But when Klayton was being true to himself, he was quite satisfied by the success of the mission. Everyone was in panics, and the world was free from one more Weasley. When the two assassins were in Romania, Klayton almost gave AJ the satisfaction of killing Charlie herself. But at the last minute, Klayton switched the plans, and pointed his own wand right in Charlie’s face. The only thing his cousin’s uncle was able to say was Why Klayton before Klayton screamed Crucio in his face. The terror in Charlie’s eyes just before he died gave Klayton the greatest feeling of euphoria from a kill in a while.
When AJ and Klayton arrived home from their mission, they were viewed as heroes. Klayton had come clean to Marcus the day they came back, giving credit to AJ where it was due. Although the leader wasn’t entirely thrilled, he too saw the potential harvested in Alex, and allowed Klayton to give her a future chance to prove herself. Thankfully, AJ didn’t let him down, getting in some great kills herself, and Klayton was able to secure her some training to be a full assassin after that. To be honest, AJ had some pretty good skills as an untrained assassin, some he hadn’t see since he was first picked for the job. He was quite proud of her, and viewed her as his own little project, but he would never praise her openly. A nod of encouragement here or there, but Klayton wasn’t the type to overly express his approval.
After the mission, like any first-time assassin, AJ wanted more. It was pretty understandable, as Klayton was the same way his first time. It’s normal after your first time to be running on an untouchable high, thus fueling the desire to want more, and never give up the feeling. The day after his first mission, Klayton had gone and killed some low-life muggle in his development at home. Although it technically wasn’t right, Klayton was only fifteen, and didn’t know any better. However, his teacher spent an entire afternoon teaching him the difference between killing for pleasure and killing for a job. Klayton didn’t entirely get it, as a kill was a kill, but from then on he only assassinated the targets Warren gave him. Therefore, when AJ came to his ‘office’ [the bar] a few days after they returned from Romania, Klayton was all ears for her suggestion. She had a pretty valid point; they already unsettled the marauders, might as well continue.
Taking the time to plan with Marcus and Nate after AJ came to him, Klayton quite liked the plan. He knew of AJ’s serious hatred of Hallie Cauldwell, and admittedly, Klayton had his own problems with the oldest Cauldwell sister when he was at Hogwarts. Therefore, he saw absolutely no problem taking revenge on the youngest sister, as well as some of her other friends. Marcus was a little hesitant about going after the students, especially when some of them were his own. However, with much convincing on Klay’s part, promises were made that none of the girls would be seriously injured. Just roughed up enough so the marauders knew they meant business.
Since AJ initiated the mission, Klayton allowed her to make all the plans and go over the fine details. In a way, this was part two for her to prove she was worthy enough to join Klayton’s ranks as an assassin. Whatever doubt Klayton had in his mind about whether AJ was going to fulfill her objectives were completely erased when he looked over her very detailed maps and explanations. To say the least, he was impressed, knowing full well that she had this in the bag, along with the necessary skills needed to perform such a dangerous task. Quite honestly, Klayton let AJ prepare everything, simply using him if she needed an extra hand.
The night of the kidnapping, Klayton waited made sure the groups of attackers knew what to do. He specifically put Ryan and Jason to cover the Cauldwell girl, because he knew their torture was the worst, and that’s exactly what he wanted to give the little child. With everyone in their places, Klayton waited for the signal from AJ, which would bring the girls to them. It wasn’t a very long wait, and as soon as the front door opened, the kidnap sprang into action. He wasn’t supposed to be a part of it, just kind of overseeing things, until a familiar girl came bouncing up the stairs, like she owned the place. Klayton looked over at Nate, and then quickly pulled the girl aside. Erinn! What the fuck are you doing here? He hissed at her. Typically he loved his coworker, but when on the job, Klayton was known for hurting even the ones he loved the most.

And maybe then you'll hear the words I been singing Funny, when you're dead how people start listening

When Klayton tugged her off to the side, Erinn was completely confused as to what was going on. He wasn't usually that rough with her, not that she minded, but clearly there was something else going on and she wasn't at all fond of it. However, she also really trusted Klayton and didn't resist when he tugged her over into him. Whatever was going on with the other girls, it wasn't really her problem and she was sure that Klayton wouldn't do anything bad to the lot of them. She gave him a rather sheepish grin, since it was pretty obvious that she wasn't exactly wanted there. That didn't stop her from snuggling up to Klayton and giving him a hug, however. Whatever was going on, she kind of didn't care. It was already infinitely more interesting than anything that she could have been doing back in the castle, so she liked it.
Klayton was there with her boss, Nate, and admittedly, they both looked rather menacing at the moment. It was a tad bit intimidating, but she was around the two of them so often that she couldn't really bring herself to care. "I was just following them. Dunno what's going on," Erinn admitted with a bit of a shrug. It probably sounded kind of lame, but that was how it was. She didn't really have anyone else back at the castle to hang around with, since she was either mad at them or they were mad at her. Honestly, sometimes she felt like the only people that she got on with anymore were the people at work, which was why she was exceptionally glad to have found Klayton and Nate there in the Shrieking Shack, no matter what the situation may have been.
Nate moved off to the side, leaving her there with Klayton and unsure of what was happening with the other girls. It was dark, there was a lot of shuffling and Erinn was kind of a bit glad that she was able to just stay there huddled up next to Klayton. "What's going on?" she asked, her voice dropping down to a whisper. It wasn't often that she wasn't loud and obnoxious, but she was beginning to feel like perhaps the situation was a bit more serious than she had originally realized. Quieting down, Erinn moved slightly so that she was behind Klayton, watching to see what was going on across the room. It was too dark to make much out, but it was obvious that there were a lot of bodies moving about and a few spells being thrown. Whatever it was that they were doing, it wasn't all fun and games like she had originally assumed. She felt safe herself though. Klayton wouldn't do anything to hurt her.

We're all addicted to our tragedy. I guess it's what it had to be.
To be honest, Klayton was just as surprised to see Erinn as she was to see him. The plan was to go after Hallie Cauldwell and her Ravenclaw friends; AJ never mentioned anything about the Gryffindor he was quite fond of. Ignoring her friendly hug for a moment, Klayton looked over the brunette’s head at Nate, who just shrugged his shoulders and dashed down the stairs. He looked down at the girl who was still snuggling up to him, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. I’m so happy to see you right now, little E. Klayton was lying, as he felt nothing when he was in mission mode, but he didn’t want Erinn to know that. He frowned, as the girl told him the reason for her being there. Well, it was very stupid for you to come here. Why didn’t you follow the headmaster’s warnings to stay inside? Klay knew very well that Hogwarts was on a lockdown, as it was exceedingly difficult for AJ to slip out during the night to come to the club in order to discuss plans.
Hearing a thump and heavy footsteps from below, Klayton could only guess that the guys secured the girls. He obviously didn’t want any of them to come upstairs and see that one of them had ‘gotten away’, so he made the split decision to kidnap Erinn as well. He called over Jared, perhaps one of his favorite Death Squadron members, and the only one he trusted with Erinn’s life, to explain what was going on. Alright Erinn, you have to listen to me very carefully. We got a bit of a hostage situation on our hands, and unfortunately, you’re a part of it. I can’t let you go, because I can’t let you tell anyone what’s going on. I promise, I won’t hurt your little friends, and Jared definitely will not lay a finger on you. He nodded towards the other guy, to ensure that if the guy didn’t do what Klayton said, he would be dead. Walking towards the girl with a pair of metal shackles, Klayton continued. I’m going to put these on you, to make it look real. But when everything settles down, I’ll come get you. He signaled Jared to take her away to the forest, where the Death Squadron had set up camp.
Watching the pair head downstairs, Klayton wondered how everything was going. He sent e-messages to all the kidnappers, receiving a response almost immediately from Jason that Hallie had been knocked out cold. He told the kidnappers to hurry up and get to their respected locations, before word traveled to Hogwarts. Satisfied with how the mission went, Klayton sent one last e-message to AJ. Congratulation. Welcome to my ranks. Meet me tomorrow near the camp in the forest. We start your training promptly at 5 o’clock am. Watching the message send, Klayton smiled a creepy smile to himself, before setting out to find Nate. Tonight called for a few celebratory drinks with the club owner.
