Without telling anyone other than his parents Tag apparated over to the Chain Reaction, a nightclub in London for wizards and witches of seventeen or older. It was a recent gig and something he was not willing to turn down, despite his mother's desperate pleas to stay home. He needed to get his face out there, especially if he wanted to make money of off his music. Not to mention if it distanced himself from his family, then more of a reason for him to be out.
The moment he entered into Chain Reaction, a faint smile appeared on as he saw familiar people. It was not his first time playing at Chain Reaction, fortunately. Immediately he took off his hat, scarf, and gloves and threw them over to where his guitar case was. As the workers of Chain Reaction began setting up for Tag's gig felt himself become happier. He was free to be himself and no one was there to judge, technically.
After thirty minutes of prepping the Chain Reaction's doors opened. Running his fingers through his blonde hair, making it much more of a mess. It was not that he was afraid of the crowd. It was more that he was afraid that they would reject his music. But each time afterwards there were enough people who did like it for Tag to continue and that was what he was going to try to focus on.
But the moment he felt his name being introduced, which Dartagnan told the owner to just use his nickname since it seemed less odd, he pushed himself forward and ended up on the stage. Stepping towards the mike with his guitar in hand Tag said, Hey everyone, I see a few familiar faces here and there, well thanks for coming out and supporting me. So let's start this party! And instantly the music took over Tag and it was as if he was a different person. No longer the shy awkward boy, but a musician. A man of music who lived for only music.
After fifteen songs, which was what the owner had requested, Tag left the stage for an all-girl band called Heaven's Saints. Being well aware that he would not be receiving his money till after the show ended which would be towards midnight Tag left most of his belongings in the break room with his guitar case. Looking at the clock a soft sigh escaped Tag as he noted the time was only half past nine.
Walking over to the bar he ordered a cherry cola with no ice, alone. He knew he could of asked some girl to drink with him, but he felt that would just be troublesome. So instead Tag at the bar, alone which was a stark difference from how he was on the stage, a man of music who lived for the light and stage.

theodora apolline bourdon really had to convince her father to let her go out tonight with her french friends. they were still at beauxbatons so she never got to see them anymore. she didn't miss them as much as she thought that she would. she actually liked not the hear really high pitched french accents like the ones of her friends. she liked to be away from the gossipy and rich girls that were at beauxbatons. she had no hatred towards those girls, they just annoyed her a bit. teddy didn't hate anybody. it took a lot for her to hate someone. it wasn't in her blood to hate anybody, she just couldn't do it. she always had to give people second chances. she never based people on first appearances which sometimes hurts her; she tries so much to see the other side to the person that it hurts her in the end.
teddy took off her coat, scarf and gloves and put them on a chair at the bar. she turned around and heard someone new playing. she had been to the club dozens of times before but had never seen him. he went to school with her and she had talked to him in the chatroom. he was nice to her and not like other slytherins that she knew and tried to give a chance to. she listened to him the whole time and was basically in awe. she hadn't known that he could play the guitar like that and sing like that. he was amazing. she stood in the middle of the whole crowd, just standing there, listening to him playing. she knew that tag was a bit of a jerk and a slytherin but she didn't know this side to him. it was like a completely different tag, she liked it.
when the set was over she went back to the bar where her coat, scarf and gloves were and sat down. she ordered a butterbeer. she took one sip before tag sat down right next to her. she automatically turned around and looked for her friends but couldn't find them. typical. they really didn't care all that much for her, only that she was the daughter of the french ambassador. she turned back around and took another sip of her butterbeer. "hi tag." she spoke, and hoped that he could hear her over the loud music behind them.

An eye-brow rose when he heard a familiar voice, It couldn't be… Turning his head toward the voice Tag replied, Hmmm…Teddy Bear has come to play. I'm surprised you came to Chain Reaction, doesn't seem like your scene. Chain Reaction was a place where up-and-coming musicians came from all sorts of genres, but it was also a place that was well known for teenagers finding quick hook-ups and flings. A place that did not exactly suit Theodora Bourdon. A girl who was not only a Puff, but an interesting one. One that made Tag crave a nicer relationship with her, but that was a secret between him and well himself.
Taking a slow sip of his refreshing, bubbling sweet carbonated drink Tag looked about before asking, Alone Teddy Bear? I thought you Badgers loved being with friends. Playing with the aluminum can, Tag offhandedly asked, So…what do you think of the show? Normally a quiet and reserved guy, Tag found himself becoming chatty. It was something that Theodora brought out in him. It was unfamiliar, but pleasant. It was also something he could not have. He had enough friends, actually more like he had a few best friends and several acquaintances. But for some reason Theodora tested his need for only a few friends. It was odd and crazy, something he did not understand and something he wanted to understand yet at the same time he wanted to banish such thoughts from his mind. She was too much like a rubix cube, a muggle puzzle that confused most yet was understood by a few.

he was right, the chain reaction wasn't her scene at all. she didn't want to come here in the the first place... her friends had basically dragged her and refused 'no' for an answer. teddy came to the chain reaction a couple times a year, which is a lot since she's always away at school for half of the year, usually more but she decided to come home for the holidays. her father had something going on in london. she was just going to spend the night in the hotel room going through the channels but her two friends showed up at the door and wanted to have a night out, a girl night out. but turned out that teddy would still be spending the night alone. "tag, you don't know my scene." she smirked and took another sip of butterbeer.
teddy rolled her eyes at tag when he called her 'teddy bear' again. "are you only going to call me 'teddy bear' for now on?" she spoke. "well, i wasn't, but now i am. i came with..." she turned around and pointed to two very loud french girls flirting with two guys and being very touchy. she laughed lightly, "they dragged me here; didn't want me to spend the night alone in a hotel room." she shrugged and slowly took a sip of her butterbeer to ease her awkwardness. teddy was perfectly fine when they talked in the chatroom, but now that they were talking in person, she was just being awkward. she did this a lot around guys, she would be awkward and ramble about usless information. "and not every badger is the same, maybe i'm different?" she was trying to infer that she was different than what he spoke of her but it was a lie. she loved being with people and with her friends or at least people she tried to consider friends.
teddy smiled and nodded at his question. "oh, yes, i thought that it was great. i never knew that you were a musician. i actually never would've thought that you would be one." never in a million years would she think that he was like what she saw on stage. "did you write all of those songs? they were all great." teddy had a thing for musicians, she loved everything abou pouring your heart onto a piece of paper and being able to perform it in front of people. for her it was different for how she expressed herself; she danced. it was a passion of hers. it was a bit difficult to continue dancing when she went to beauxbatons and now when she transfered to hogwarts, but she found the time and found an abandoned classroom to practice in.

chuckling softly tag's eye-brow went up as he asked, then what is it m'lady? teasing, taunting, sarcasm that was what tag used to communicate with people. that was his solution for his awkwardness, but that meant most people did not like him. however it meant less stress for tag, so it never really bothered him. at least, not until recently. however whenever he thought of theodora he attempted to be nice, for some odd reason. it was something that should not be happening, but was which meant his life was about to get very difficult.
in a taunting tone dartagnan replied, you're rather adorable and cute, lack the fluff though. but yes, you remind me of a teddy bear so that's what i'll be calling you from now on. taking another quick sip, tag looked in the pointed direction and instantly a sharp snort escaped tag, now, those girls look like they fit in chain reaction. being well aware of the girls who hanged about chain reaction, tag knew that was an insult but he could care less if the girls actually heard it themselves.
tilting his head tag chuckled before commenting, and you're different how? you're nice, sweet, hard-working, trust-worthy, hmmm…what else you're surprisingly memorable but i think that's the only different quality you have. yes, a string of compliments and yes they were from dartagnan percival wood's mouth, but he could careless which was why he was currently being so direct.
normally a sarcastic comment would of have left his lips, but instead a faint smile appeared while he replied the question rather nicely, haha thank you, nice to know i have another fan. no one ever does and yes, i wrote all of them myself throughout various parts of my life. music, it was his life. the one thing that got tag through each day. it was his escape as well as his future, at least he hoped it was.

teddy thought about it for a moment. she didn't really have a 'scene' that she tended to gravitate towards but places that she did enjoy included large and empty spaces that were big and spacious enough for her to dance without hitting things. it was a bit difficult because she tended to to dance around a lot, needing a lot of space. she didn't just stay in one certain area of the room, she danced all around the room using every single part of it. "hmm, well, certainly not a place like this. a place very quiet and peaceful and large and spacious." teddy looked over at tag's facial expression and what he would think about her 'scene'. "i'm a dancer, y'know. actually you probably wouldn't know, not many people do." people expected teddy to be a sports kind of girl just because. it might just be the way she looks or the way she presents herself. but she actually doesn't like sports all that much, she's more into dancing in music than sports.
teddy didn't know if the comment was suppose to be a compliment or or just plain mean. she knew that tag was a mean person and a bit of a jerk so could never really tell when he actually meant what he said. she took another sip of her butterbeer so that she wouldn't have to give him a response. she raised her eyebrow at his comment and rolled her eyes. she turned back around and took a quick sip before speaking again. "they're not that bad. i've known them since my first year. very stereotypical beauxbatons girls." teddy left beauxbatons because she felt a bit suffocated being at that school she just needed a fresh start and a new life where nobody knew who her father was.
teddy blushed a deep red, but it wasn't all that noticeable in the lighting they were in. but just in case it was obvious, she hit her face by taking another sip. she had never gotten so many nice comments from a guy before at once. sure, she got comments here and there but tag was just piling on comment after comment. "i don't know, i just thought it was something nice to say at the time." teddy was a very honest person, she didn't lie that much or at all.
teddy loved to talk about music, it's one of her favorite things to talk about actually. when she dances it's like the music is literally going through her body and she has no control over the dances that she does. nobody else understood her love for music, maybe tag would? of course he wouldn't understand the dancing part but he would understand the music part. "i could never." she smiled small and spoke once more, "i mean, i could never write music. i'm more of a dancer. i express myself through dancing. my father once told me that when i was born i was dancing to the background music they had playing in the hospital." she blushed a bit, realizing what she had just said. "i don't even know why i'm telling you all of this."

upon hearing the girl's scene a faint a smile appeared. that was a place that sounded like heaven. though he was a slytherin, he was not a party boy. he despised social gatherings but if it meant him singing a song he took it which was why he was here at chain reaction rather than home in his room away from not only his other siblings but his parents as well. but the moment he heard dancing an eyebrow went up before asking, really? ballet? modern? hip hop? another aspect not many knew about tag was his ability to dance. everything that dealt with rhythm and beat he had a gift for.
tilting his head he looked over the girl before adding to his comment, actually i'm not surprised you look as though you would dance. taking a quick sip of his drink tag sat there silently listening to teddy's view of the girls. but after the girl was finished he commented, they are far too touchy, so i keep my comment about this scene being theirs. playing with his drink an eyebrow went up before asking a sincere question, but it came out in a rather sarcastic manner, and what exactly is the stereotypical beauxbatons girl?
tag, who was busy staring straight ahead, never really noticed teddy's blush but had he a teasing comment would of asked. but lucky for her, he did not notice and instead said, i suggest you think about what you're going to say before saying it because not everyone is nice as me. though dartagnan was a slytherin most people believed that he did in fact fit into gryffindor, but his ability to get what he wanted without much thought, very little consideration for the rules by finding loopholes, and his gift for sarcasm blocked his loyal and rather chivalrous personality.
no one knew the passion that tag held for music. it was something that allowed him to come to life. a gift that he intended on never giving up, no matter what. something not many knew and not many understood, but as he listened to teddy a faint smile appeared as he began to think the girl next to him might possibly understand. the faint smile, did not fade, but instead turned into a smirk as he suggested, perhaps it is because you believe that i understand this…want, no, need for music. something that allows you to breathe and live. something that gives you an ability to express the hidden emotions you might refrain from showing. something that allows you…to be you. after each comment the faint smirk turned into a smile, a real one. something that rarely ever appeared on his face.
