Some might think that running a club might be a difficult task and they’re right, but for Kaitlyn it was one of the best things ever. While it was quite tiring at times, she had so much fun, and in her opinion that made up for everything. Being the fun loving person that she was, it made sense that she would run a club. With its fun atmosphere the brunette couldn’t imagine a better place to be working at. It gave her an opportunity to meet new people and being the social butterfly that she was it was perfect for her. It also let her drink as much as she wanted without having to pay. Before you ask though, no, she is not an alcoholic, though she certainly could be. Oh, how she loved her job. She wondered how many people enjoyed their job as much as she did. Probably not many.
Currently, the brunette was running around with a drink in her hand, socializing with everyone. She liked to be involved in everything with the club and knowing everyone who came and went. She knew a lot of interesting people that way, and was never bored. And Kaitlyn could never be stuck in her office anyways. It was simply too boring in there, with all the paperwork she had to do and calculations, but it was a necessary evil. She learned to deal with it anyways. The girl moved from person to person, letting that signature smile of hers grace her lips as she listened and spoke. She didn’t seem to talk to someone for more than a few minutes, yet at the same time, she knew a lot more about them than most people would know in an hour. It helped that she was awfully nosy, though she didn’t come off that way, and the fact that she seemed so easy to connect with.
At the moment she was talking to a guy named Ben… or was it Oliver? Honestly, Kaitlyn didn’t even know anymore. Everything got a little hazy after her eighth drink. After a few more minutes of the conversation, she excused herself and made her way towards the bar again. On her way there, she spun around a couple of times on the dance floor, letting the air whip past her as she let her hands out at her sides. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she spun, faster and faster. She let herself laugh at the stupidity of this action. She probably looked like a crazy person but she didn’t care. All that mattered was that she was having a good time. She spun once more, closing her eyes again and tilting her head to the sky. Ah, sweet freedom. She was so much in her own world that she was not aware she was in the presence of someone else. She was not aware of this until she hit them...smack in the chest.
She stumbled backwards, her eyes fluttering open and her cheeks turning a light shade of pink.
“Uh sorry ‘bout that---I wasn’t watching where I was…spinning?” she said, with a laugh..

Roy hated playing babysitter for Frankie in every way imaginable. At first, it hadn't been terrible and even had been amusing at times, but as time wore on and she continued to be a pain in his ass...well, he was pretty much over it. Unfortunately, there wasn't much that he could do about it and he would likely be stuck with her forever at the rate things were moving along. However, as stuck as he was in the situation, Roy had no intention of sticking by her side for the entirety of his life, so he went out sometimes. Not as often as he used to, by any means, but enough to keep himself slightly more sane. Checking his wards and locking the doors up as best as he could, Roy left Frankie in the room and left to go have some fun. Typically he would have left to somewhere more interesting, but at the time he knew for safety reasons that he had to stay close by the castle. If something went wrong, he had to be nearby so he could hear about it and attempt to fix up whatever situation came up.
Much to Roy's pleasure, the local club wasn't all that bad. Chronos was a good, quick place to go for a drink, some dancing, and generally at the end of the evening some ladies. There was always someone new that Roy could meet and charm, so he was looking forward to what the night would bring. Strolling down towards the club with a swagger that only Roy could have, it didn't take the man more than a few minutes to reach his destination. It was past dark already, so the club was blasting music and there were people all around the entrance waiting to get in. Roy, however, didn't care to wait in the lines and simply strode up towards the front, as if he were meant to be there. He knew enough of the workers that it was usually easy for him to just walk in. Giving the bouncer a wink of amusement, Roy slipped in past the lines and into the club. That was how Royson Vaughn should always be treated.
As per usual, Roy's first destination was the bar. Though he didn't mind dancing and having a good time in general, it was a lot more fun when you were slightly intoxicated. Leaning up against the bar, Roy waited a moment for someone to take his order before taking the glass with a nod of thanks. Sipping the drink, Roy looked around at the current crowd to see if there was anyone in particular that he knew and would want to spend some time with. Not spotting anyone right away, he melded himself into the crowd of dancing people and just settled into his groove. He was dancing with one woman for awhile and things were going fairly well. However, he quickly grew bored of her and found himself drifting off towards new people. Roy would likely continue with that until he was ready to leave, at which point he would decide if the girl he was with at the time was worth the trouble or not.
Finishing off his first drink, Roy started to make his way back to the bar. However, he was promptly cut off by someone twirling into his chest. In any other situation, Roy might have been annoyed by such a thing, but when there was a pretty girl practically throwing themselves at him, he couldn't be too upset. "Well, hello there Kaitlyn," he commented with a wry grin on his face. He had been in school with Kaitlyn and knew her quite well. In fact, he'd previously held quite the torch for her in their school days and certainly wouldn't mind taking her out for a day or two now. "You have an interesting way of working, I must say." He knew that she worked there at the club and he imagined she was supposed to be looking after something or another. He much preferred this, though.

When one worked as often as Kaitlyn Lyons did, the days started to blend together. Everyone seemed to be the same person with different names. But it fine most of the time for the brunette. Life was a dream for the girl. Well, unless you counted the paperwork. The main reason why she enjoyed her job wasn’t because she got to talk to people or get free drinks. While those were things that she enjoyed, what she loved more than anything was being known, whether as ‘the woman who owned the local club’ or by her name. It didn’t matter. All that mattered was that she was known to the majority of people and that was enough. Now Kaitlyn, by no means was an attention whore. She didn’t like drama or attention directed towards her most of the time. She just liked being known for simple and/or good things. For the brunette there was such thing as a negative press and she knew that if she stepped over the delicate line once, it would ruin her image and very possibly damage the club’s reputation. No one in their right mind could argue that she did not care about the club since nearly her whole life and lifestyle was dedicated to keep it to a standard that she approved of, which was quite hard if she did say so herself.
While she did love socializing with people, being in an old pureblood family had taught her who she should and shouldn’t be seen with. Sure, the girl got a long with a lot of people, it only made sense since she was an incredibly outgoing and fun person, but nearly everything she did was for show. The whole happy-go-lucky personality Kaitlyn had may very well be a sham. In reality, she was selfish. Selfish, rude, vindictive, and a fake, or she could be. Sometimes it confused her too. How easily she slipped into different personas. Every night she was someone different, an actress in center stage. She learned her lines, learned how to speak them convincingly and how not to slip up. But beneath it all, the brunette found it hard to remember who she was underneath. Her name could be a synonym for contradictory. The harder she tries to understand who she is as a person and try to become self-discovered, the more difficult it becomes. It’s hard to dig up who someone is once they buried their real selves under a ton of different characters. But here, at the club, dancing and having a fun time. That was Kaitlyn at her core. There was no need for self-discovery because she already knew who she was. She just didn’t know that she knew yet.
The brunette quickly turned around to face the persons he had bumped into. When she saw that it was Roy who she had bumped into, her face instantly lit up. She had gone to school with him and saying that she absolutely adored him would be an understatement. She liked a lot of people, but he was one of the few people who particularly stood out to the girl. Even though he could be a bit of an ass at times, he was pretty fun to be around most of the time when he wasn’t to busy flirting with anything that could move. "Roy! Where the hell have you been? I haven't seen you in forever!" Kaitlyn exclaimed and then gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. So, maybe she was exaggerating a bit, but she definitely hasn’t seen him in quite a while, and she wasn't sure what had been keeping him so occupied. She knew him well enough to know that he got out a lot more than she had seen him out lately.
“And I am working!” she protested quickly, sounding more like an immature child that a twenty two year old woman. She was working, and while it was different that what was expected of her, it counted. Or at least in her opinion it counted, and Kaitlyn being rude enough of a person, the only opinion that mattered were her’s and occasionally others. But very rarely did she ever put others’ opinions into consideration. Most of the time, despite her easy going nature, it was either her way or the high way. There was rarely any middle ground of the girl and everything she did from the parties she threw to the stunts she does constantly was to the extremes. The motto she based her life around was go big or go home, and the brunette never went home.
A few more minutes of bodies pushing against her made Kaitlyn sigh in frustration and roll her eyes. She didn’t have a problem with people having fun and dancing, but sometimes having so much people on the dance floor triggered her claustrophobia, though her phobia was not something that she advertised. It wasn’t something that she liked to have and of all the phobias she could possess, claustrophobia could very well be one of the worst seeing how she was often in large crowds. Somehow though, she managed to push through it. “I’ll be right back. I need a drink,” she said. Before he could say anything, Kaitlyn pushed through the crowd, muttering apologizes as she went. She would find him eventually.
