Spending her time recovering was not easy for Kristal. Though she had put on her best smile and acted like she was dealing perfectly find with everything, it was a lie. She hated having to work as a Healer for awhile and she hated not being with her team and most of all she hated that she was so incapacitated. Even with the healing power of magic, it was still taking weeks for her knee to heal to the point where she could walk again, let alone play football. Of course, that didn't stop her from trying, which was quite possibly a large part of the reason why she was still quite incapable of doing much of anything. So, when she wasn't called to help attend to various Quidditch players and their injuries, Kris basically spent her time in her apartment. She slept a lot, watched a lot of ESPN and definitely had her fair share of FIFA tournaments. As fun as it could be, she was pretty bored of being alone.
Kris knew that she couldn't expect people to be there babysitting her twenty-four seven, since they had jobs to attend to and lives to live, but some more company would have been nice. Fortunately for Kris, it was soon to be Taylor's day off and she would have her best friend there to goof around with and forget about the fact that she was still stuck in her apartment. Were it anyone else, Kris might have bothered to clean her place up to the point where it was socially acceptable, but it was Taylor and clearly Taylor was worse than she was, so it was okay. Besides, Kris was still "gimpy" and therefore had a free pass when it came to cleaning up her place. It wasn't like it was a total disaster zone, just a little cluttered and Kris wasn't going to mill about picking up the clothes scattered around the place.
Kicking the shoes off her feet, Kris was settled down on the couch, which had pretty much become her kingdom in the last few weeks. She had a cabinet filled with food on one side of the couch and a table with her remote control, ps3 controller and everything else she might need on the other. Clearly, she didn't leave too often and was comfortable right where she was. Flicking through the channels, as if she were going to find something interesting, Kris ended up just leaving it on ESPN like usual. Though she was interested in the game at hand, it was hard for her not to keep turning her attention to the door in hopes that Taylor would magically just be there at any moment. Well, that was technically entirely possible, so she quite hoped it would happen sooner rather than later. It was way past time for some best friend action.
