A scowl appeared on Kai's face as he went down to go meet his future wife. He despised the girl. She was the bane of his existence. She had been the bane of his existence ever since he had been introduced to her at some ball his Grandfather had set up and apparently he had been planning Madeline's and Alkandros' engagement since then. Only if he could go back and change that event, only if. But seeing as that was impossible Kai found himself waiting, patiently and calmly as he could, in Deathly Hallows. He was well aware of the fact that it was a night club and was not exactly the best idea to meet his future wife there, but if it meant possibly repelling her, that was something he was willing to do.
In fact if it meant being a complete slob with messy hair, and not shower for a week he was willing to do it all. It was not cause he was a lady's man, which he was, it was more like he was sick of being forced to do things to appease his Grandfather. A man who lived in England. Sure Kai also lived in England, but he lived far away from his Grandfather. But the old timer had a great amount of influence, still, in the family so it meant playing nice, for now, and listening, for now. But the moment he was able to break free and do what he pleased, he was going to. But seeing as today was not that day, Kai sat at a table for two while waiting for Madeline, a girl he had not seen since Hogwarts.

Maddie polished herself for today, she kept her prim and proper as usual. She seemed to show enough cleavage, however, and those longs legs of hers. It was only for show, she didn't find any fault in flaunting what she had, if she had it. It didn't seem so proper of her future husband to greet her at a night club. Then again, it gave Mads a reason to, flaunt her stuff. Arriving at the night club, she stunned her audience with a little black dress she stowed away for a special occasion. A special occasion it was, she was meeting her future, an annoying future. Maddie didn't mind being married off to Kai. He wasn't all too bad, but wasn't all too good. Surely Maddie could do better, she was beautiful, and wealthy and had lines of men lining up for her.
Maddie had mind of her own,she could slip out this arrangement quicker than it started, it just she didn't bother messing with potential. It also bothered Kai, which she loved to do. She wasn't going to let him go that easily, she had have a little fun first. A lot of fun, actually, and she was going to pose as the perfect match to his family to keep them together. Well, for as long as she wanted to keep up. She knew Kai was too weak to say no to his family, so she was going to make his family love her, so she could continue her torture. And that she did, as she cat walked towards her future in-laws, and fiancee.

A soft sigh escaped Kai as he continued to wait. Rather than looking about for his future wife, he instead stared straight ahead, attempting to block out all pain. But soon he found it to be rather difficult. How he wished he could allow Ariella to scare off Madeline, but he knew Madeline too well. Ariella, as confident as she was about her intimidating personality which he found rather cute but in more of a brotherly way, most likely would get frighten by her. That was who Maddie was, delicate in appearance but really someone with claws and fangs who was not frightened about using them.
Quickly standing up, Kai ordered a glass of water and soon returned to his spot. But rather than going quickly, he instead took his sweet, sweet time. But as he walked over, he noticed Madeline and almost instantly a scowl appeared on his face. However despite noticing his future wife, he continued to take his sweet time. After a few minutes of walking, he took his spot once again before saying anything he took a quick sip, Can't you walk any faster Kherrington?

Her claws so sharp today, tongue sharper, Mad was ready for a brawl. She expected her husband to be wasn't going to be so nice, so neither was she. His childish remarks never seemed to out do those of Madeline's smarty pants knowledge of words, and knowledge of her 'man'. She seemed to have him down, nothing yet could surprise her, or she looked deep enough into his files in the ministry. Sneaky, she was, no trouble seem to scare her not even the council seem to be enough to raise one hair on her back. Her flawless, uncaring ways seem to be her best feature, kept the the oh-so-brave ones at bay.
Breezing past the crowd in a glamorous sort of stature. Her figure so delicate, her frame so feminine, but her intentions hardly from those of her appearance. Many have been surprised a thing like Mad could lash out such fiendish actions. If they only knew her so well. Walking by like a sloth he was, her future betrothed passed her with a first years remark. Pathetic, she thought of him. "Gives you time to stare at my ass, which you so desperately want to gaze in amazement," she teased, smirking. She found joy in her tormenting, Kai's of course. Everyone else didn't seem to push her buttons so effortlessly as he did. Nothing made her as furious as seeing that face, but as sad as it is she rather see it than not at all. Supposedly deep, deep, deep down Ms. Kherrington had a feeling or feelings about Sir Barberis. Maddie would always reject such feelings, having despised him for so long why now should she change? So they continue buried hidden under massive walls she built for herself, safety walls.

It did not matter that he had limited resources with finding information on his wife to be, but he had enough. He knew her since they were ten years old and met at some ridiculous get together thrown by his grandfather. On top of that they had been in the same house so that meant another seven years. But now it had been two years since they had last spoken. Two years were a very long time in terms of changing, something that did not really happen for Kai excluding the increase of popularity in Greece.
Snorting Kai took another sip before commenting, As lovely as your ass is, I wouldn't stare at it for long. Especially considering your sharp, troublesome tongue. Rather than looking at Madeline he stared at the wall. It did not matter that she was stunning, gorgeous really. Nothing about her was that great, excluding her beauty. Actually, that was a lie. Kai enjoyed her rather stubborn, strong personality, but he was never going to admit it.
