Rory began humming an old French lullaby as she began walking about Hogsmeade with her one year old pup, Choco. Though it was tad chilly and quite empty, there were still a few students here about and that meant she could not leave, even though she wanted to head home. Perhaps it was because now she was lonely. She did not have many friends here, She just had her cousin, who she adored, but that was still not enough. Her heart was aching and her mind often wondered to him. But he left him behind. She had to. She did not deserve him. She was really pretty. She was okay, but that was it. Okay. She was not like the other girls who surrounded him. They were stunning and what they said was true. She was not all that smart or amazing. Who was she to be with him, no one and that was who she was going to stay being.
At least, that was what she was trying to do. She left him behind in Birmingham, actually more like she tried to. But it was becoming more difficult with time. She had loved him, but what they all had said haunted her on a daily basis. She was just an average girl. Sure she had been a decent artist and a decent chef, but that was really it. It did not matter that others told her otherwise, and they often did, she just could not see it. She never had seen it. It was not that she saw herself as nothing, but it was more that she did not see herself as so high. Even if she did, it was often as a joke. But even as a joke, she could never pull it off. It just was not Aurora.
Sighing softly she murmured to herself as she wrapped her arms around herself, And he was not you...¦ That he was not. He was attractive, he was smart, he was successful. He was everything a girl wanted and then some. Biting her lower lip Rory's eyes began to water but as quickly as her eyes began to water, she shook her head and muttered, He never really was your's to begin with, no need to cry...

Alwalked along Hogsmeade, having a nostalgic feeling, and remembered his days at Hogwarts. He remembered when traveling back and forth form the castle, it was tiring, but worth the trip. Being stuck in a castle all day, you had to go to extra lengths to get out of there, stretch a bit. It was a freeing feeling, being on your own, but also having someone there to look out for you. It was nice, the old days. Him and his old Ravenclaw uniform use to walk those halls, and sit in those class room chairs. So, Al supposed returning home to Hogwarts wasn't such a bad idea. It wasn't at all, he was following his heart of course, as well.
She was the one, obviously. Despite the woman's insecurities, stubbornness, and completely blind to everything everyone else saw with the two. Al, couldn't just not go after her, she left a big hole, one he needed her to fill. The fact she just left a note kind of pissed him off, she, Aurora, could of have the decency to break up with him in person, and tell him she was leaving town. That wasn't something too easy to forgive, but he had to if he wanted her back. That he did. She wasn't so plain, and ordinary as she claimed to be. In fact she was complex, and confusing, nothing too ordinary about that. The fact he wasn't chasing the showy girls that followed him around, should had shown her she was important to him. I guess he would have to try harder to convince her.

After the awkward conversation she had with not only her cousin but her ex-boyfriend as well Rory now was going to celebrate Christmas with him. The chicken inside of her was screaming run, run for her life, but at the same time she was beyond excited. Her heart thumped and her stomachs did flips at the mere idea of it all. But what increased this was the moment she actually saw him. He was right in front her and of course the chicken in Rory takes over and she attempts to hide by sitting at a random table and stare at the little cafe, which failed epically since Choco decided to rush on over to her old friend. But Rory hoped, with all her might, that Aleister wouldn’t notice her.
However with the way Lady Luck had not been looking her way, Aurora was well aware that the possibility of Aleister looking her way had increased by at least ten folds. But rather than allowing her mind to wander to her increasing chances of having to speak to Aleister before their little get together, Aurora began to think of things that made her happy, Comics, Mangas, Choco… Though she has currently decided to run her sorry arse over to him… Sweets, Cooking, Being a Nerd, Drawing, Sketching, Painting… I seriously hope he does not look my way and Choco does not lead him over here… For the love of God Choco do not go there. You silly, stupid girl, you should have brought a leash for Choco, but no… You instead decide to allow the dog to be free and run around. Now you’ll be having another encounter with Aleister...who still looks bloody gorgeous… No, no, no! Bad Rory. Choco, come over here...NOW!!! Despite her mental pleading the black dog decided to stay by Aleister and attempted to get his attention by not only pouncing away at his feet but by jumping about around him while barking.

As peaceful as his walk may have been, it was abruptly interrupted by a mysterious dog. Seemingly happy to see Al, and Al happy to see it. The dog was too adorable to not pay attention, and the size of it didn't seem to make it unnoticeable. Suddenly, noticing out the corner of his eye, Al spotted a blonde Aurora. She didn't seem to please to have seen him, but Al was more than thrilled to see her. Not showing it of course. Al had that suave vigor. He meerly put on a small smirk of delight, simple, but it was his style.
Petting the dog one last time, Al stood and motioned his eyes over to Rory. She was a pleasant breathe of fresh air for him, nothing made him happier than to see her standing there so awkwardly. He had no other option he'd rather take than to walk right up to her and greet her. So nearly rushing to her side, he spat out,"Hello". He didn't mean to be so abrupt in his a hello, the excitement overwhelmed him a bit. Al couldn't always control his emotions, especially the overwhelming happy ones like now. With all his mite Al attempted to control his enthusiasm and return to his nonchalant appearance. "So, are you planning to run away again; or are we going to your famous restaurant?" he asked not sure whether or not their plans had been undone. In that case he'd try hard to get the plan back in action, he had been looking forward to it for so long for it to be taken out from under him. He decided if so, he'd probably go crazy.

Tucking a stray strand of blonde hair behind her ear, she awkwardly began shifting about before stuttering, Hel…hello. Online was fine, it did not deal with face-to-face conversations. It dealt with virtual contact and it meant dealing very little in real life. Biting her lower lip she attempted to change the topic as she offhandedly said, I see Choco hasn't forgotten you… Choco, Aurora never was aware of what breed the dog was, but had saved her from the pound when she had been abandoned as a little puppy. She had been too cute to be left alone and immediately got adopted. It had been when Aleister and Aurora were still together, but for now all she wanted to do was bury herself underground for a few months and never, by never she meant never, come out. Well, actually, more like as long as Aleister came out and he still recalled their rather awkward break up, thanks to Rory, she wanted to stay underground.
As Choco trotted over to Rory she began running circles around Rory and Aleister, making thoughts of running away become rather impossible. Attempting to drag out the possibility of having to spend more time, despite wanting to, Rory awkwardly asked, Umm…aren't you busy? Work and all… Chewing on her lower lip, Rory continued with the stray hair, but not before saying, Well…I still need to finish my walk with Choco or she'll be too hyper, can't have that with her size and all. Yes, she was running away, yet again. She could not help it. Sure she was confident and strong, but that was when she had to stand up for herself or others she loved and cared for. But when it dealt with the man she loved and left, different story. She still was not strong enough. She never would be, to be honest. But when it had been only a few months ago, how the heck was she supposed to cope in that small amount of time?! Despite the little fact that it was her doing the break-up, it was still very difficult. It was, in fact, one of the most difficult things she had gone through.
