Lily walked inside the library. It was Saturday morning. Around 10 in the morning. Most of her friends were sleeping, relaxing, or having fun. But not Lily. Lily was being responsable and decided to get her homework done early so she could have the rest of the weekend free to have fun and go on adventures. Even though adventures was a bit of an overstatement. But parties really weren't that bad at all. They were a good escape from reality. And also a naughty one which people were shocked to see Lily, "the innocent one", at.
Lily smiled at herself. Only her closest friends knew she wasn't as innocent as she seemed. It was annoying when people thought she was a goody-goody. But being in the library doing homework Saturday morning didn't help her cause. She took a seat and pulled her potions book out of her bag. She had an essay to write. She sighed and stared at the paper. She wrote a sentence for the introduction. She still had 4 paragraphs and a fews sentences to go. She sighed to herself and twirled a strand of her orange hair curly long hair around her finger. She took it down from a ponytail and shook it out a bit.
She kept looking at the library door after each sentences. She wanted someone to come in to entertain her. Maybe a friend to giggle with. A guy who she liked. Even someone who she didn't like! As long as they got her out of this dreadfall essay she had to do. Maybe she was a bit overdramatic. It was just an essay. An essay she had been struggling with the past few minutes. She had to concentrate on it. Get in the zone, if that was even possible for her to do.

On the rare Saturday mornings where they didn't have practice, Erinn was often lost for something to do. Considering it was also a ridiculously early hour, she was more or less just sitting around waiting for something interesting to come along and bring her for the ride. However, insofar, that wasn't happening. Ellie was being a ridiculous bum and still sleeping in the bed across from her and Lily was nowhere to be found. With two of her closest friends busy and everyone else too lame to bother with at the moment, Erinn was absolutely, positively bored. That, most definitely, was never a good thing. A bored Erinn tended to lead to trouble. Well, worse trouble than usual anyways. Which, given her antics as of late, was reason to worry.
However, if she wanted to get into something, she needed to have someone at her side to help take the blame. Erinn, while a good friend, was a bit of a manipulator. People didn't always realize it, but she was. She had a way about her that was able to innocently drag people into things, mostly just for extra safety padding were they to get caught. Tossing a pillow over at Ellie to see if there was any chance of her getting up, Erinn frowned irritably when she simply grumbled and rolled back over. Clearly, this wasn't going to work and she needed to put forth a little effort to go find Lily. Honestly, Erinn had no idea where the other girl could be at the moment. It was a Saturday morning and theoretically, she should be off having fun. However, she also knew her friend and that wasn't always the case with Lily.
Padding down the stairs to the commons room, Erinn started to ask around with the hope that someone, eventually, would have an idea as to where she could find Lily. Finally, after threatening three small first years and nearly cursing a second year, someone was able to give her the information that she needed. That information, however, brought a bit of a scowl to her face. The library? What, honestly, could Lily possibly want with the library at a time like this? It was almost as if she were trying to be labeled a Ravenclaw and Erinn most definitely wasn't about to let that happen. If she had anything to say about this matter, Lily would be out of the library before anyone could catch on to such a horror.
Quickly descending the stairs to get to the library, still dressed in her pajamas (slippers and all), Erinn barged through the door to the library. It wasn't a place that she could ever be found, given that she was not studious enough and far too destructive to be allowed in such a place. Her eyes darting about, Erinn quickly spotted the girl that she was looking for and, much to her distress, she was with an essay. This was worse than she had originally anticipated and this rescue mission was now of the utmost importance. Perhaps, if Lily had been doing something else, such as pulling a prank or having a steamy library hookup, it would have been okay. Unfortunately, that was not to be. She was there with an essay.
Flying across the room, Erinn skidded to a stop at the table where Lily was sitting and hopped up onto it. Pushing the essay and book to the side, she gave Lily a rather reproachful look. "Lils, really? The library? Do you realize what you're doing to yourself?" she asked, drumming her fingers on the side of the table as she spoke. Pulling her legs up onto the table, she wrapped her arms around them and rested her head on her knees. She had a bemused smirk on her face as she looked down at Lily and it was quite obvious that she wasn't at all there to study. "Let's get outta here, we've things to do," Erinn requested with a prompt nod. Obviously, someone had to play the part of the fearless leader that morning and Erinn was all for it.

Lily finally was getting into her essay to find it being pulled away from her. She looked up and saw her close friend, Erinn. Why couldn't she have come earlier when Lily needed a distraction and was brain dead. Lily smirked. "Yes Erinn, I realize I am going into social suicide" she said teasingly and shook her head amused. Might as well give Erinn an explanation to her geek-ish ways in the moment.
"I actually am getting all my homework done so I can be free the rest of the weekend to do as I please." Lily explained. She hoped it was enough to allow Erinn to give it back. Lily was planning on taking advantage of not having quidditch practice to finish homework. But that really wouldn't work if Erinn was holding her homework captive. But Lily knew the only way Erinn would let her do homework was if Lily did what Erinn wanted her to do. That was the ways of her manipulative best friend.
Lily smirked. "Fine." she said with an exasperated sigh. She grabbed her homework and book away from Erinn and put it into her bag. She put her bag on her shoulder and stood up. Why did she always do what Erinn told her to do? And how was she involved in whatever Erinn was planning. Whatever it was it couldn't be good.
"What are we doing exactly?" Lily asked Erinn as she started to walk out of the library. Lily figured out why she always listened to Erinn. Lily's life would be so boring and innocent without her. She was what made Lily have great fun times. And maybe Lily did need to lighten up a bit and have fun. She could always do the homework later.

Social suicide. That was definitely a good way to put it, as far as Erinn was concerned. She wasn't the type to get much of her homework done and even on the rare occasions that she did, it was usually late at night and in the commons room or, sometimes, under the covers where she had hijacked Ellie's papers to borrow ideas from. Never, just about, did she even dare to step foot in a place like the library. In fact, she was rather surprised that she'd even known how to get there, which was probably only because she'd been there previously to mess around and pull stunts. "It's sad, love. You shouldn't be so calm about this situation," Erinn commented with a serious expression. Even if a lot of this was meant in jest, she still saw this as a problem that had to be rectified quickly. A Saturday morning was meant for fun and havoc, not studies.
As much sense as Lily's reasoning made, Erinn wasn't feeling it. Doing homework early wasn't her style, if she even bothered to do it at all. Quite honestly, she didn't see homework as being an issue in any way and simply pushing it to the side and ignoring it was fine by her. If it got done, great, but if it didn't than she wasn't about to go on worrying about it. As far as Erinn was concerned, it wasn't holding her back from doing anything at all. "See, that's where you're wrong, mate. You're already free to do anything you want. You're just choosing to do your homework," Erinn pointed out, as if this were the most logical reasoning to take. It wasn't, by any means, but that didn't stop her from believing that she had free reign to do whatever.
As she had expected, Lily was agreeing to take part in whatever it was that Erinn came up with. Sometimes, she wondered if perhaps she would give up and finally just say no to Erinn, but it hadn't happened yet. She was definitely glad that she hadn't, though, since life would be undeniably dull without her friends to take part in her crazy schemes. Today, perhaps, she would tone it down some, just to give Lily a break from the constant trouble that she seemed to be throwing them into. That is, if Erinn could even come up with an activity that didn't involve rule-breaking and near-death experiences all around. Sometimes, it seemed like that was all that she knew how to do.
Hopping up to follow Lily out of the library, Erinn's head bopped back and forth in thought. She wasn't exactly sure what they would do, but somehow she would come up with something extremely exciting and cool. "Hmm, I don't know. Any chance you'd be up for going rock climbing?" Erinn asked, glancing over at Lily. It was a muggle activity, sure, but it was fun. Erinn was the type that found solace in the outdoors, it cleared her mind and helped her to relax. Even if she would be exerting a lot of physical energy, that was a good time for the girl. "I've got all the equipment stored up in our dorm for when I take trips over to the mountains outside the grounds, so it'd be easy to get over there," Erinn shrugged. It was an idea that wouldn't get them into too much trouble, at least, so that was a better start than most ideas she came up with.

Lily smiled. "Erinn, what would I do without you saving me from being a social reject?" she responded back teasingly with a small laugh. Erinn was taking this homework thing way to seriously. Lily was still the same fun-loving, adventurous girl she had always been. This time she actually had a sense of responsability and a brain to match. But she was sure she would get it done eventually. Maybe Erinn was right. The weekends were meant for fun, not work. Plsu maybe Lily did need a rush in the morning. She needed to do something that could get her in trouble.
Lily smirked at her reasoning. She had a point. Lily could choose to procrastinate it for the last minute. That always worked. Or she could do it when everyone was asleep. Point was that Lily would do something fun and irresponsable. She would make Erinn proud of her. She needed to be a more adventurous and toublemaking version of herself. She was sort of confused and caught of gaurd as to how easily she was convinced. How Erinn actually convinced her to do whatever it is that she needed her for. Lily always promised herself to stay out of it. But who was she kidding? She would never be able to stay out of it when it came to Erinn.
Lily walked beside Erinn when she asked about rock-climbing. Lily gave a small laugh. "So that is what you are doing when you mysteriously disappear or ditch class." Lily said teasingly. Lily never understood why people ditched class. Wouldn't hiding somewhere be just as boring? It wasn't if you went rock-climbing. Lily wondered how she never knew about this until now. How good at lying did you have to be to lie about going rock-climbing. And it was out of school bounds. How much trouble would that get them into? Lily really didn't feel like getting detention over the weekend. It wasn't really her thing.
But then Lily thought of the worst things Erinn could've thought of doing and was sorta glad it was just rock-climbing. Also, Lily didn't want to wimp out on Erinn and be a fail. "Rock-climbing does sound pretty fun. Let's go to the dorm to get the stuff and so I can put my useless homework away." Lily said agreeing to it. All the while thinking of how many ways the teachers could put them into detention. But Lily really was worrying too much. She just had to relax and have fun. No one would be looking for her on a Saturday morning. She had no classes so they wouldn't really be missing anything important. It might actually work.

Even though she was fully aware that she was probably just kidding, Erinn took her thanks to heart. Obviously, she had no idea what the world would have done without her in it. "You got right lucky when you met me now, didn't you?" Erinn replied with a giggle and a smirk. She wasn't at all as self-absorbed and conceited as she acted a lot of the time, but it was a front that she felt obligated to maintain. For whatever reason, she often found herself in a position that required her to take the lead in her group of friends and letting them down just wasn't something she was about to do, so she feigned the utmost confidence in herself and valiantly continued on in the face of her own personal demons. Letting anyone clue in to the fact that she was anything but perfectly sure of herself was something that Erinn fought constantly to avoid and insofar, she seemed to be doing pretty well with that.
Of course, how long she would be able to keep up appearances, she wasn't sure. There were times where she just wanted to give up and let things happen as they would, rather than taking charge of them and manipulating them to her advantage. However, she couldn't let herself step down from that role, as difficult as it was sometimes. She liked things how they were, even if that meant she spent a lot of time hiding things and pushing them to the side. At some point, perhaps she would come to terms with the things that she chose to keep from her friends, but at present she was still questioning a lot about who she was and until that was resolved, things had to be this way.
Her attention briefly lost, it took a moment for Erinn to switch her focus back to the conversation at hand. "Well, yanno, among other things," she commented, waggling her eyebrows a bit as she spoke. Erinn certainly ditched class more than most people did, but she always had something special to do during that time. She wasn't the type to just skip and sleep or sit around bored, since that would be a waste of her time. If Erinn skipped, there was always something interesting going on that would occupy her time. More often than not, it was rock-climbing, but she had a variety of other activities in her repertoire of class-skipping fun as well. Most of the time, it was off campus and generally not allowed, but it wasn't like anyone would ever find out, so she rarely got in trouble. The most trouble she got in for it was the fact that she didn't show for class, but that was to be expected of course.
A rather excited grin took over her face when Lily agreed to join her, quite pleased with the way that things were turning out. Clearly, her idea of a good time was much more exciting than homework. "Brilliant, we should be able to just leave out the window with our brooms or whatever," Erinn nodded. Also against the rules, most likely, but Erinn was used to racking up a number of penalties each time she went to do anything. After all, it wasn't a good time if you didn't break a few rules, right? "And I agree, by the way, that it's useless," Erinn added after a moment, a bemused smirk on her face. Certainly, the only homework that was worth anything was someone else's finished assignment that she could borrow.
It didn't take long for the two girls to ascend the staircases to the Gryffindor tower and before long, they were in their room. Erinn immediately set about digging underneath her bed for her adventure bag that contained everything that she could possibly come to need for the rest of the day. All the equipment was there, along with snacks and a few water bottles so that they didn't get dehydrated. Finishing off her set of things, Erinn grabbed her broom from next to her bed and stood to wait for Lily. "Right than, I'll hop on out the window and get ready and you'll follow along, yeah?" Erinn asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked over at Lily. She couldn't say just how sure she was that Lily would be at all receptive to the idea of jumping out of windows, but at least it would work. Probably.

Lily smirked. "Oh yes, I would have had no friends if it weren't for you Erinn. You are my savior" Lily responded mockingly. Lily usually wasn't someone to increase the ego of someone. More like someone who deflated ego. But she was just joking with Erinn. Lily was usually truly herself around close friends like Erinn. She didn't have to behave all politely. She could just be herself but a more wild and troublemaking version of it. Maybe it was because Erinn was always the one taking charge and Lily was the one following her. Lily is maybe a bit too easily manipulated by her friends. But when did Erinn ever have intentions of hurting her. When she trusted someone she would do anything they said. It was a bit naive of her but she was naturally too trusting of friends.
Lily widened her eyes at Erinn. "How many activities do you have planned out for when you ditch?" she asked. "I need to ditch with..." she started but stopped herself mid sentence realizing what she was going to say. She was not going to ditch with Erinn."Wait, no, I am not going to ditch class. You see the affect you have on me? You are going to make me a rebel." Lily said and gave a small laugh. Lily had a feeling Erinn would use what she just said and hold it against her. But maybe Lily did need to experience the joys of skipping. She had to do it sometime in her life. But then again they had O.W.L.S this year. She couldn't spend her time following Erinn's example.
Lily gave a smile to Erinn feeling a bit nervous inside. Flying out the window on broomsticks to go rock-climbing. It sounded like a pretty reckless idea. She could only imagine the trouble they would get in. But she was so not backing out. She needed to prove herself. That she could break the rules when she wanted to. She got her broom and brought some water and a few snacks. She put it in a bag and pulled the bag over her shoulder. She got into the position on her broom. "I'm ready." she said confidently. "Go ahead. I will follow." she told Erinn letting her take the lead. This would be fun. Lily had to think positive. It was the only way she would get through the day.

Saviour. Erinn could get used to the sound of that one, even if it was said with more sarcasm than anything. She stuck her tongue out at Lily because of the mocking tone with which she spoke. "Yeah, damn right I am. You know you love me," Erinn replied, bobbing her head a bit as she spoke. As much as she joked around about that kind of thing, Erinn really did appreciate having Lily around. She helped balance her out. Sometimes, she'd make sure Erinn wasn't too out of line and other times she'd help Erinn out with all of her fun. No matter what the case, the two of them were able to get along really well and Erinn wouldn't have wanted it any other way. She and her chaser girls were the coolest kids ever, obviously.
To be honest, Erinn probably had pages of things to do when she skipped out on classes and she had been slowly working through said list over the past few years. "Oh, you know. A few things here and there," Erinn lied. She doubted that Lily would be all too impressed were she to find out just how much effort Erinn put into skipping class, as opposed to actually attending. She raised an eyebrow as Lily stopped in the middle of her sentence, a wicked grin arising on her face. Perhaps next time she ditched she could drag Lily along for the ride. After all, it was always more fun when you had someone there with you to join in and go crazy. With a little cajoling, Erinn was sure that she might convince her to do it at least once.
Looking over at Lily with a triumphant grin, she gave the girl a quick nod. "Yep, sure. Can't possibly ask you to do that," she said in agreement, though it was obviously meant in the most sarcastic of ways. "If you do find yourself looking to skip out on any classes though, next Monday involves beaches and surfing," Erinn added, almost as an afterthought. She couldn't be sure if Lily would bite and take the bait there, but she certainly hoped that she would. It was bound to be a rather exciting afternoon and much more entertaining than whatever classes they may have had that day. Honestly, Erinn couldn't even tell you which classes those might have been, a testament to the fact that she was rarely there.
Noting that Lily was ready, Erinn walked over to the window, eying it with an unsure gaze. She'd never left through the window before and quite honestly, wasn't sure if it even worked. However, it looked like fun and that obviously meant it was a good idea. "Right than, if I fall to my death, try not to follow," Erinn remarked as she climbed up into the window ledge. Situating her broom properly, she leaped from the window with the assumption that her broom would catch on and stop her fall. It was dangerous, reckless and more than just a little bit stupid. Thinking it through probably would have been the smart thing to do, but Erinn was never one to be known for actually planning things out before doing them.
For a few seconds, she fell through the air, plummeting towards certain death, before her broom caught and she surged forward and back up to the sky. A grin of excitement had taken hold of her face and she flew back up to the window to signal to Lily that she was alright. "It's totally good mate, let's get out of here," she called out, turning her broom towards Hogsmeade as she waited for Lily to follow. The fly over to the cliffs that she usually climbed wasn't too far, which was good and they would probably get there before anyone even caught on to the fact that they weren't anywhere to be found on the grounds of the castle. Once they were at that point, no one could stop them and it would all hinge on how quickly they could get to Hogsmeade and then to the mountains without anyone seeing them.

Lily gave Erinn a small smile. "You make it hard not to." she replied. Lily loved all her friends. They each were so different but there was something she loved about each of them. For example, Erinn's bravery and troublemaking skills. How Erinn took charge and made Lily do things that she was unsure of and Lily always ended up having a good time. That was just the amazing skill of Erinn. Of course, not everyone enjoyed Erinn, but Lily was always there to stand up for her friend if anyone insulted her. Lily was protective over all her friends. They met their first year but became extreemely close through their love and skill at Quidditch. People thought they were exact opposites. They were but that was why they got along so well.
Lily heard Erinn mention ditching next Monday. Well they didn't have any exams, she could always turn her homework in the next day. She could also fake being sick. Lily normally would say no but her favorite place was the beach. She loved the sun on her skin, the smell of the ocean, the sand in between her toes. And she also loved to swim. She never tried surfing, it might be a fun activity to learn. "I can't believe I am going to do this." she muttered to herself in shock that she was actually being convinced. "One day of ditching won't hurt. Only because it involves the beach. And this is one time! Don't expect it out of me more often." she warned. She didn't want Erinn to get her hopes up of having a new ditching class buddy. Lily just had to make sure not to get caught. She could only imagine how much trouble she would be in with her parents.
Lily felt nervous watching Erinn jump out the window. She looked down and felt her heart pounding as she saw Erinn falling. But then she managed to swoop up on her broom. Erinn told Lily it was safe. "I can do this. Don't worry. It's easy. I will be fine." she told herself trying to convince herself to jump out the window on her broom. She took in a deep breath and went out the window on her broom. She fell for a few seconds, her heart pounding and she finally managed to get her broom and went forward. She gave a laugh feeling the adrenaline through her vains. It was thrilling and was definately something she would never do again.
She flew up next to Erinn giving a small laugh. "Okay, let's get going." she said suddenly feeling adventurous. Lily knew this would be a good day. She and Erinn rock-climbing. Breaking the rules actually was sort of fun. Lily could tell why Erinn did it so much. But it was something Lily would only do once in a while. Not something she would do on a daily basis. But Lily was proud of herself for actually jumping out that window and agreeing with Erinn. She actually felt like a true Gryffindor. Now the only thing to worry about was not getting caught.

A sincere smile took hold of Erinn's face at Lily's comment. Sometimes, she knew that she could be a bit much to handle. She was a troublemaker, she could have a hell of an attitude and a lot of times she tended to use people, so she was always glad when there were people like Lily that actually cared about her. It was people like her that made Erinn much less willing to back down in the face of hardships. Even if they didn't always know what they were doing, Erinn's friends continued to help her each and every day, just by being there. [v]"Well, good. 'cause my life would kind of suck without you in it,"
[/b] she replied. It was the only comment that she'd made insofar that was truly genuine and showed how she really felt. It wasn't often that Erinn really let you know how she felt without dancing around the subject as much as she could, but when she did you knew that it was a serious compliment. For a moment, Erinn thought that Lily was going to chew her out for even suggesting that the two of them skip together. However, when she heard the girl's muttered statement, she knew that she had won. It wasn't just a small win either. Getting Lily to actually agree to skip class was a momentous occasion and one which she was quite excited about. "Better believe it babe. This shit's going down. In fact, I think I may just invite everyone that's anyone to come with us. Have a huge party on the beaches of Tahiti or some other exotic island," Erinn mused. She wasn't always the partying type, since she and alcohol did not mesh well together at all, but it was obviously a very special occasion that needed to be celebrated. Erinn looked over at Lily with a charming, yet scheming grin, quite pleased with herself and her success. Once she was out the window and still alive, Erinn glanced back to see if Lily was coming. It almost looked like the other girl had to psyche herself up to actually take the plunge. Technically, Erinn wasn't too surprised and was actually just shocked to see that she was actually going to go through with it. Whatever had gotten into Lily to make her so adventurous that day, Erinn was more than excited. "Ahaa, you're actually coming. I was almost convinced you were goin' to pansy out before we even got started," Erinn commented, chuckling as Lily came up on her broom behind her. Even if she had been hesitant at first, it appeared that she seemed to be quite comfortable with their adventure by now and Erinn was totally ready to take off. Turning back for just a moment, she signaled to Lily that she was about to head off and then quickly shot off on her broom. "Try not to fall too far behind, yeah?" Erinn yelled out, holding back a laugh. Quidditch certainly could bring out the competitive side of Erinn and even something so simple as flying around with Lily brought her to fly faster and faster. Curving her broom slightly towards Hogsmeade, it didn't take long at the speed she had set for them to quickly pass by the small town and into the wilderness behind it. It was hidden back in there, behind the trees and right up next to the mountains that Erinn came diving down to a halt. Hopping off her broom in the small clearing, Erinn looked back to see Lily following behind. "Well, this is the place than, mate!" she said, excitedly. It was a place that she had stumbled upon one day while out hiking and it was always the first location she came before starting any climb up the cliffs just a few short minutes walk away. It was calming and peaceful, the perfect location to start getting things set up for their climb. She didn't know how much Lily knew about rock climbing and so she started to quickly piece together her equipment and ready them both for their adventure. Erinn had done it so many times by now that she was hardly even watching as her hands moved along the equipment, snapping the cables together and clipping things into place. She was clearly a pro. Lily smiled. She knew Erinn wasn't just saying it to flatter her. That Erinn actually meant it. And that meant a lot to Lily. She was glad to know that her friends cared about her and liked having her around as much as she did. "And my life would be boring and uneventful without you in it. I mean who else would be able to convince me to do these crazy things?" she said genuinely with a small smile. Without Erinn, Lily would've been much more responsable and more focused on her studies. She was extreemely fortunate to have known Erinn.
Lily smirked when she mentioned inviting everyone. "Hon, if everyone is coming then we are more likely going to get caught." Lily told her with an amused smile. The one thing Lily didn't want happening was getting caught in all this. Getting in major trouble didn't seem that delightful. Getting away with it was always much more fun."But maybe another time we could all have a beach party." she suggested with a smile. It wasn't a bad idea, just not when school was going on. It would definately be a party Lily would attend. Maybe she could use that as an idea for planning a surprise party for Erinn when her birthday came up.
Lily smirked. "Truthfully, I was about to. But your voice was in my head and it would've driven me insane if I did" she said teasingly. Plus Lily would spend all day wondering what would have happened if she didn't go. Lily nodded as Erinn told her not to go too far behind. "You kidding me? You should be worried about me getting ahead of you." Lily called back teasingly. They both were quiet competitive girls. Lily knew Erinn was the one who was faster but it was still fun to try and beat her at it. She rode her broom and was a few feet behind Erinn. She sped up to get closer but while riding she didn't manage to get ahead. Mostly because she had to follow to know where they were going.
Lily finally got on the ground next to Erinn. She looked around amazed. She watched Erinn put the equipment together. "Umm... Erinn, I forgot to mention something. I never have been rock-climbing before..." she said sort of quietly feeling embarassed. Why didn't Lily say that before. But rock-climbing couldn't be that hard. Erinn would look out for her and make sure Lily was safe, wouldn't she?

An appreciative grin graced Erinn's lips and she nodded in agreement to what Lily said. Honestly, she hadn't been sure how she was going to fit into the school when she'd gotten there in her first year and had clung to her twin for quite some time. However, as soon as she had joined the Quidditch team, she'd come into her own and turned into the girl that she was today. The bond that she had between Lily and Ellie was something that no one could ever even dream of matching and for that, she was glad. "Precisely. I don't think anyone has ever been nearly as charming and amazing as I am," Erinn replied with a cheeky grin. Did she believe that herself? Not entirely, but she had to make everyone else believe that she did.
The odds that they got caught when bringing along everyone else were certainly higher, but that didn't matter, since the amount of fun they would have would increase astronomically. Obviously, a little extra risk was completely worth it though, so Erinn was all for the idea. "Yeah, that's true, we'll see what happens," Erinn said with a noncommittal shrug. Obviously, she would do whatever she wanted to no matter how much Lily wanted to object and it was simply a matter of decided when and where she wanted to have it. Which, given the fact that it had been far too long since she'd had a serious bit of fun, would probably end up being much sooner than anything. In fact, this Monday actually sounded like an excellent idea.
The thought of her voice being the "voice of reason" in Lily's head cause Erinn to burst into a giggle fit. Certainly, that couldn't have been safe fore anyone. One person acting like Erinn did was probably bad enough, but to have other people with her voice leading them about was most definitely a danger to society. "Man, good thing I'm around to keep your head on straight, eh? Wouldn't want you doing stupid things like not jumping out tower windows," Erinn said, chuckling a bit as she spoke. Sometimes, she almost felt bad about the fact that she was such a terrible influence on Lily, but then she realized how dull her life would be without Erinn there and Erinn felt much better about the situation.
She snorted a bit at the other girls insinuation that she might be the one that needed to worry and quickly urged her broom to move faster. "Yeah, you wish, love," she called back as she started to pull away. How much of her lead was from actual skill and how much was from the fact that Lily had no idea where they were going, Erinn couldn't be sure, but she liked to think that a majority of it was skill. She was, admittedly, pretty damn good. Not the best, yet, but she was aiming to get there. Going on to play professionally was, quite possibly, the only thing that Erinn even could go on to do with her life. It wasn't like her academic record served her well in any respect, severely limiting her options.
Glancing up from her work as Lily started to talk, a soft smile spread across her face. She hadn't expected Lily to know how to rock-climb and was perfectly happy to help teach her. "Yeah, I assumed as much," Erinn said with a brisk nod as she finished up her preparations. With that done, she strapped everything to her back and motioned for Lily to follow her down the path to the base of the cliffs. "It's pretty easy, really. I can show you as we go along and stuff. I've already got it pretty much set up when we get there to climb, we just have to clip in and go," Erinn said with an eager grin. It wouldn't be too difficult to teach Lily how to climb, since she was fairly intelligent and Erinn was fairly skilled, so hopefully it would go over without a hitch.

Lily sighed with an amused smile. "Erinn, you're crazy." she said. She didn't mean it offensively. It was more like Erinn was a handful to watch out for. But that was what made her so fun. Erinn needed responsable friends like Lily to hold her back. Even though Lily never managed to. It was more like Erinn pulling her forward. Lily was pretty sure Erinn was the one that gave Lily her first drink. It was a time ago, a night Lily completely forgot. But she was pretty sure it was Erinn who loosened her up for that one night and made her become a different person. Someone who was secretly wild.
Lily gave a laugh. "Yes, because jumping out of a tower is a completely safe and rational thing to do. People do it every day and survive." Lily responded sarcastically. "But in your idea's defense, we did have brooms." Lily said trying to defend the idea and the sanity of it. That it was a perfectly reasonable thing to do. But really it obviously wasn't. But Lily had no problem whatsoever pretending it was a perfectly reasonable thing to do. But since when did these girls do reasonable things or cared if people thought it was reasonable. Lily sort of wished she was more like Erinn. Brave and not afraid to get in trouble. Lily hated to be the one worrying and analyzing things. She could learn a few things from Erinn. Now she was truly losing it.
Lily smirked glad Erinn actually assumed she didn't know and would be prepared to teach her. Lily walked with Erinn and listened. She had sort of an idea how to but enver physically done it before. Lily nodded "Okay, I am pretty sure I can do this. I mean I do play quidditch. Rock-climbing can't take anymore coordination, could it?" Lily asked Erinn. She was trying to convince herself it was fine. She was with Erinn. And Lily knew she trusted Erinn and Erinn wouldn't let her fall and hurt herself. She would be safe. She jumped out a window on a broom, rock-climbing isn't as dangerous as that. Lily already made it this far, she wasn't going to back out now.

Crazy; that was certainly a word that Erinn heard on numerous occasions. She knew that she could be a bit of a nut and she loved it. Honestly, her life would have gotten too boring for her if she was simply following the rules all the time. "Crazy, crazy," Erinn repeated, voicing her agreement. She liked to think that her crazy wasn't really her fault, preferring to blame it all on Erika. Since, obviously, as the younger twin, Erinn was much more impressionable and subject to follow along with whatever Erika did, which was generally much worse than Erinn. Erinn, at least, could sometimes tone it down and be relatively normal. Sort of.
Erinn couldn't help but laugh at Lily's sarcastic description of what they had done. Sure, it wasn't something that most people would think to do, but it had made sense. Obviously, it was the quickest way to get where they were going and they did have their brooms. It had still been dangerous and possibly fatal, but since it had worked, Erinn didn't see how it had even slightly been a bad idea to give it a go. "We did it and survived, so obviously that counts. It'd be a lot easier to get places that way now that we don't have to go through the castle," Erinn nodded, most definitely planning to use such methods in her everyday life. The professors usually didn't take kindly when she rode her broom through the castle to get places, so this would be a fairly good way to do things.
Looking back over at Lily with a grin she nodded a bit in response. "Yeah, it's not so hard. A bit taxing, but it's fun. The view up there is hella gorgeous too," Erinn said, an eager smile on her face. "The only problem might be if you don't know where you're looking to go and fall or something since my- well, no, you'll be fine." Erinn added, hastily covering up her mistake. It was probably best to not clue Lily in to the fact that her setup wasn't entirely up to a professional protocol and that there was definitely a threat of serious injuries. Some of the ropes were frayed and some of the pegs holding things together were rusted and not all properly nailed in, but it was sort of put together. For the most part. At least, Erinn knew how to make it work so that they didn't die, hopefully.
Reaching the edge of the mountain, Erinn looked up at the cliffs with an excited gaze. "Right than, you ready?" she asked, looking back at Lily for a moment. She figured that she didn't really need to worry too much about teaching Lily what to do, since she could probably just follow her lead or something. Clipping herself in to the lead wires, Erinn tugged at it a bit to be sure that it was secure enough to hold her weight. The top rope seemed to be secure, so Erinn climbed up a bit on a few footholds to be sure that everything was good to go. "Right, so, pretty much just clip in and follow my lead. I think it'll be okay for two people to go up at the same time," Erinn shrugged. She wasn't sure at all, but that was okay. If they got hurt, they could just go to the Hospital Wing!

Lily smirked. She knew that pretty much all of the Thomas family was crazy on way or another. Lily was a little bit crazy also. But it was okay to be crazy. Doing reckless things did sort of run through the family. But she always had a good reason behind it. Mostly out of loyalty to her friends like Erinn. But the difference was Lily was more secretive with her wild side. She wanted to seem like the "good" child compared to her brothers. She wanted to stay out of trouble and not get caught so she could still have trust put in her by others like her parents or Teddy.
Lily nodded. "You have a point At least we are still alive and unharmed opposed to dead or being in the hospital wing with a serious injury." Lily said. But they were too skilled at flying for that too even happen. She gave a small laugh. "I don't think the teachers will mind that much unless we hit a student or something. We should try it sometime." Lily suggested with a small laugh. The idea of causing trouble was sort of thrilling to Lily. It would give her the excitement that she needs in every day life. Sure she would be in trouble with the adults who look after her, but it would be worth it in the end, wouldn't it?
Lily smiled at the mention of the view. "I love a good view. Being up that high must give an amazing view." she said feeling excited. Erinn then mentioned on how she had to concentrate on where she was going. That meant not getting to easily distracted. But Erinn did stop herself mid-sentence and that sort of worried Lily. "Erinn, what were you going to say?" Lily asked her hiding the nervousness in her voice. If Erinn was hididng something that could affect the safety of it then it would be Lily's concern considering she was also going to be rock climbing. But Erinn's done it a million of times. It must be semi-safe. She wouldn't let Lily do something dangerous if it was her first time. Lily knew she wouldn't.
Lily nodded and watched Erinn hook the rope. Lily followed her instruction and tugged a bit. It seemed stable. "Okay." she said and climbed up behind Erinn slowly. It was sort of nice. Just being in nature with her friend. Climbing and relaxing. As long as she followed Erinn's lead she would be perfectly fine and remain unharmed.
