Someday I'll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me
[/i][/right] It had been at least a few months since Ari had put forth the effort to have a party at her place, something that everyone had been clamoring about and worrying over. So, she gave in. Perhaps it was best if she continued on with her usual ways, acting as if there was nothing wrong with her in the least anyways. She doubted that she would fool any one of her teammates into believing that it had just been a phase and that she was back to her normal self again, but that wouldn't stop her from trying. One way or another, she wanted to find a way to get them to give up the questions. Would it happen? Doubtful, but she knew that she wasn't about to give up trying. So, a party seemed like a good place to start. It was a staple in the life of the old Ari and perhaps if they saw that she was sort of making friends around the castle and her temporary job, they would feel a bit better about her lack of interest in her life and write it off as nothing.
It hadn't been difficult to call in the cavalry and get a party set up. After all, it was something that Ari had been doing for a good, long time by now and even if it hadn't been recently, she was still a natural at it. Pulling together the resources that were required for a party was something simple for her and something that she most definitely had talent at. Hell, if she wasn't a Quidditch player, she very well could have gone into something along the lines of party planning. The stage was set and ready to go and guests were slowly starting to trickle into the flat through the doors that she had propped wide open to invite people in. No one that she recognized was there, nor was there anyone interesting enough to bring her over towards them. Instead, she bustled about the bottom floor, moving things into place and generally "tiding up." It was more just a ploy to keep herself busy while she waited for someone worth talking to to arrive, since she really wasn't in the mood to interact with the "lower people" that she didn't know at all.
A slight frown arose on her face as she looked around once again, not pleased with the way things were starting. Though it was only early in the evening, Ari was impatient and waiting about for the people she actually kind of liked to make an appearance was tedious. Shrugging off a few people that wanted to talk, Ari stalked up to the second level of the house. The first floor was much quieter than the ground floor and had a lot less people milling about it, which Ari was quite happy about. Even if she was a people person, she wasn't in the mood for it that night. However, she kept a friendly smile on her face as the people walked by and greeted her, not wanting to alert anyone to the fact that she wasn't particularly in the best of moods. The full moon was quickly coming closer and that was never a good time for the young woman. In fact, it was probably the worst time for her. She looked fairly worn out, even if she was trying not to, and her eyes were a sickly color that was bordering on gray; the only physical indicator of her current affliction.
Settling down onto one of the chairs, Ari curled up on it next to the window that was near the balcony. It was a comfortable chair, more like a beanbag than anything and it was the chair that Ari had long ago claimed as her own. She growled a few short responses to the people that came by trying to initiate conversation, managing to quickly deter them from any further talking. Before long, a small ring of space had developed around her, as people quickly came to realize that she wasn't in that fantastic of a mood at present. Perhaps all she needed was a good bit of alcohol, an interesting person to talk to and a hell of a night to follow. At least, that was her hope for the night anyways.

Dimitri looked at himself in the mirror. He wore a white fancy shirt and unbuttoned a few of the buttons so some of the beautiful ladies could look at him. He smiled at himself in the mirror. Okay so maybe he was being extreemely narcissistic and arrogant at the moment. But that was who he was. The ladies loved how attractive and confident he was. His confidence made him more charming. He was planning on having a good time tonight. Being a teacher was straightening him up. He needed one wild night. One irresponsable night full of un-teacherlike behaviour. He needed to be reminded of his old self and his old habits. He looked at the pile of ungraded papers on his desk. He smirked at her procrastination. The students could wait a couple of more days.
He grabbed a jacket and head out. The party he was going to was Ariella Davies'. She was the flying professor at Hogwarts. Extreemely attractive and someone Dimitri enjoyed hanging around with. He looked at the adress and apparated there. He stood in front of the lot and brushed himself off a bit. He walked in, he wasn't the first but he was sure he wasn't the last because he was sure Ari knew more people than this. Dimitri looked around the house. This place was huge! He would love to spend a night at this place. It didn't sound like quite a bad idea. He ran his hand through his hair and decided to explore a bit. He said hi to a few people he knew. He walked up to the second floor where everything was much more crowded. There were more people. Now this was truly a party.
But something was quite peculiar. Ari was sitting by herself near the balcony. There was a little empty circle around her. Like there was some wall. Ari didn't seem like she was in the party mood. Well Dimitri would certainly change that. He wasn't going to let his friend have a horrible time at her own party. He didn't want her to act her feel pathetic. He grabbed a firewhiskey for her and one for him as he walked over there. He sat in the chair next to her. "Hello Ari, great party. But why aren't you enjoying it? Last time I checked you were the life of the party." Dimitri asked her curiously taking a sip of his firewhiskey.
He held out a bottle of firewhiskey to her and gave her a smile. "Have a drink, it helps. I got it just for you." he told her with a charming smile trying to tempt her. He hated seeing her like this. It was so unusual. She needed someone to hang out with and have fun with. And Dimitri was going to be the guy to get her too loosen up, open up, and honestly have a great time.

Daniel had been surprised when he'd returned home to a house full of people. He'd spent the better part of his day in Manchester, a muggle city and his hometown, catching up with his old man in the local pub. He visited his father every now and then, kept him upto date on his life and career in the wizarding world. Though his dad never really could grasp the idea of people flying around on sticks as a sport. So, whilst he'd been out he hadn't heard any word of a house party, which wasn't so much of a problem, surprises were always nice after all and Daniel was always up for a good party.
After he'd returned Daniel headed straight up to his room to get ready. He'd showered and changed and was back downstairs within an hour. He'd figured there was no rush in getting ready since the party had been pretty quiet when he'd first arrived.
Making his way through the house, Daniel shouted hellos and gave out hi-fives to the men he knew, whilst the women received winks, flirty smiles and one armed hugs. The Beater did a circle of the flat twice, on all occupied floors, to get a vibe on who had come to the party. He'd been chatting and welcoming people to the party for around thirty minutes before he found Ari sat in a chair away from everyone but one male he didn't recognize. The sight was odd and it made him wonder, for what had to be the hundredth time lately, what was going on with the petite chaser.
Daniel knew that there was something up with her, it didn't take a genius to figure that out. Anybody with eyes could see Ari wasn't her usual self. But since Daniel wasn't one to pry and since he had what he liked to call an 'allergic reaction to woman drama', he hadn't approached her about it. He'd gone about acting normal with her in hopes that his younger team mate would come around back to her old self again. In fact when he arrived home to this party he thought she might have. But seeing her sat in the chair looking depressed made him think again. She also looked a little like she might rip someones from head from their shoulders at any second. which explained why people were shooting her nervous and somewhat wary glances. That kind of made Daniel smile, Ari could be such a bitch.
Making a detour so that he could grab a couple shots, Daniel headed straight over to where Ari was sat with another male. "Ari, babe, I do not like to see you sulking like this." He nodded a hello to the other male before turning his attention to the brunette. "And you're scaring the hell out of all of our guests." He flashed her a grin and then held out a shot to both the male he didn't recognize and Ari.
"Now, have a shot with me and your friend. We can't have a party without the original party queen." He winked, raised his glasses and then shot back the purple liquid.

Ari was starting to wonder if, perhaps, it would be a good idea for her to simply just escape from the party that she had just thrown into full swing and curl up in her den bedroom for awhile. She loved parties, no doubt, and it was obviously going to be a good time, but still, she wasn't ready for it. She'd been to parties over the last six months, but certainly not any that she had thrown herself and not any where she had people that she knew there. It was easier when it was a bunch of strangers, since they didn't care and wouldn't have known any better if she was acting off. Yet, before she could hop up and escape, Dimitri was there.
Of course, Ari couldn't be too upset when there were people like Dimitri about. He was a fellow professor, which was cool, and he was incredibly hot, which was completely fucking awesome. Twirling about in her chair to face him, she placed a rather large, yet flirtatious grin on her face. "Mmm, Dimitri, I was just upset that you weren't here yet, yeah?" she said. A lie, of course, but Ari had become quite good at lying. Lying through a compliment, as well, seemed to work quite often. "But, thank youu, I was definitely in need of that one," she nodded, happily taking the bottle from him and taking a sip before resting it in her lap. Dimitri was definitely one of the better things about her new job and she was more than glad that he'd come along to the party.
She was only further excited when she saw Daniel coming out of the corner of her eye. He was a few years older than her and beater on the team, but certainly one of her favorite people in the world. Ari was devoted to her team more than she had ever been devoted to anything and she would literally do anything for every single one of them. They were, without question, her family. Shooting him a rather pouting look as he came up, she took the shot from his hand with her free one. "Dannny, babe, I'm fine. They must just be intimidated by my awesome," she assured him. Fine. Another lie. It hurt her, at times, to know that she was now constantly weaving a web of lies with the people that she cared about most, but it was something that she just did by now. Something that was a natural reaction to any questions that were unwanted.
Smirking up at him and shaking her head a bit, Ari's previously dour look was now an impossible to get rid of grin. Her boys knew just how to make her feel better, that was for sure. "I'll drink to that one, love," she said, tipping back the liquid into her mouth and swallowing it. The burn felt good, familiar. Probably more familiar than was healthy for any one person to feel with alcohol. "Danny, this is 'Mitri, we work together," Ari said, starting off the introductions. "And 'Mitri, this is Danny, my loverboy." Ari had plenty of odd descriptions that she used to introduce her teammates to other people and generally, if they didn't know the type of bond the team had, they might take her seriously when she said such things. Not that she would have cared much. She loved her Danny.

Dimitri smirked at Ari's excuse. "It happens all the time. Because after all, I am the life of your party darling." he said cockily and gave her a wink. He was glad she seemed a bit better. At least she wasn't pushing him away. That was a really good thing. She was one person who always kept him occupied at Hogwarts. She always made things much more entertaining. He smirked as she took the bottle from him. It was the medicine that healed everything. For a while, then it wore off and created more problems. But why dwell on the future when he could be living and having fun in the present. Wasn't that the whole point of coming? To get away from everything that had him stressed in his life?
All the papers to grade, students to deal with, responsibility, and of course the beautiful Persephone. But he couldn't think of her. It would ruin the whole calm evening of fun and games. The whole get-with-other-woman-to-forget-about-that-one! But it never hit Mitri that Ari was actually friends with Persephone. But he could always use that to his advantage. Get Ari to put in a good word for him. That could be the least she could do for him, couldn't it? But that was a topic for later. Because some other guy came and Dimitri rather not bring it up in front of some random guy he didn't know but Ari obviously did know. Of course she would, she basically knew everyone.
Dimitri smirked and took the shot after Ari. It wasn't like it was poisened or anything. "Thanks mate." he told the guy with a smile. He smirked at how Ari responded to the question about how he was. "It is very hard not to be intimidated by your awesomeness." Dimitri complimented her and drank the shot. It felt exactly like old times when he was a teen. Getting drunk with friends, being overly confident, flirting with every girl at the party. He sort of missed those days of no responsability. But he still had those days with him. They were now a lot more secretive for the sake of his job. Even though it was torturous with all those attractive young students.
Dimitri smirked as Ari introduced them. "You have lots of loverboys Ari." Dimitri teased with a charming smile. He turned back to Danny and shook his hand. "Nice meetin' you Danny. Mind if I call you that?" he asked being quite friendly as usual. "One question, how much of a partyer are you?" he asked with a smirk. Dimitri needed to drink with someone who was just as crazy and wild as he was. Someone who wouldn't hold him back and someone who would be quite fun. Know Dimitri felt great for taking a job as a teacher. It was definately the best decision of his life.

Daniel wasn't sure how he knew that Ari wasn't being 100 percent honest with him. Maybe it was because he was pretty damn excellent at knowing when he was being fed bullshit. Or maybe it was because he knew Ari so well, they were practically family after all, and so he knew when she was lying. Well, it didn't matter which one it was, he still wasn't going to pry or annoy her with probing questions. Ari was a big girl after all, she knew that he was there if she wanted someone to confide in. At least he hoped she did.
Danny knew he could be a little evasive when it came to drama and the like, simply because he couldn't be arsed with it. But for Ari, one of his best friends, he'd make the effort. Daniel mentally made a note to let her know that later, when they were alone.
"Yeah, nice to meet you." Daniel shook Dmitri's hand firmly, "Nah, go ahead, Danny or Dan is fine with me." He grinned a little and shrugged his shoulders when the other male asked how much of a party animal he was.
"I like to think I can hold my own." He replied, a little modest. If he'd been drunk he would have declared that he was king of beer and anything associated with parties and then he would have challenged Dmitri to some sort of drinking contest. Which would no doubt involve doing jello shots off of the bare stomach of some random, but sexy, girl. Except Daniel wasn't drunk yet. No where near it.
"I'm guessing you like a good party then Dmitri?" Daniel asked and took a swig from the can of Carling he'd brought with him. Being a muggle meant that Daniel preferred his British beer over the Wizarding worlds Firewhisky. Sure Firewhisky was good but he'd grown up drinking beer with his old man at their local and that's what he preferred. In fact he thought the muggle world did much better alcohol in general, like vodka and Jack Daniels for example. Which is why he always kept the flat fully stocked with the stuff.
"If you do, you've come to the right place because our Ari throws the best parties." Daniel winked over at the female.

Perhaps one of Ari's favorite things about Dimitri was his confidence in himself. She was a confident person herself and being around people that shared her quality was something that she always enjoyed. After all, it was never fun when people didn't believe in themselves and when they were more on the cocky side, that was just all the better. "Life of the party, huh? Well, I fully intend to hold you to that love," she replied, a flirtatious grin appearing on her face. For whatever reason, there were certain people that Ari couldn't help but cheer up around and Dimitri was one of them. Along with the majority of her team, she was starting to find solace in many of the professors that she worked with now as well. It wasn't the same bond as her team, no, but it was something that meant a lot to Ari. On some levels, that worried her, but on others she was glad that she was able to find new people to be around.
The professors wouldn't have been clued in to the fact that she was different at all. Her strange tendencies and quirks were just how they had always known her and she didn't have to watch herself as much. It was different with her team. They knew her inside and out and any wrong, or out of character actions would instantly alert them to any strangeness in her. However, that wasn't something that she could find herself caring about all the time. It was hard to pull away from her team and a lot of the time, she didn't. As much as she wanted to protect them by keeping herself away from them, it didn't always work out that way. In fact, more often than not, it failed to work that way completely.
Smirking at Dimitri's comment, she nodded her head in agreement. "It is, isn't it? I'm on like, a whole different level than the rest of the world, no?" she said with a chuckle. Ari was easily charmed by any sort of compliment towards her, especially when coming from attractive men. Which, at the moment, she was quite happily surrounded by. Hell, if this wasn't a situation that could cheer her up, than she didn't know what was. Alcohol, hot men with their full attention on her and a raging party around her...well, that was definitely the life. Perhaps, a few drinks in, she wouldn't even remember half of the things that she wished more than anything that she could forget. Getting completely wasted seemed like a fairly perfect way to spend the rest of the evening.
The fact that her boys were getting along definitely made Ari feel better. One of the main things that she'd worried about with making friends at her new job was that, if they didn't get along with her team, she wouldn't know what to do. Obviously, in any situation, her team would come before anyone else that she met and that was just how things would have to go. "Ahh, but only a few are as superadorable as ickle Danny," she replied with a goofy smile, as she hopped up from the seat she was in to hug up against Danny. "He's my baby, of course," she said with a giggle. She hadn't been drinking for long, but it had soothed her enough to the point where she was in a much happier, more playful mood than before.
Our Ari. For a moment, Ari felt a pang of what could only be considered regret. She hated that, despite everything that they had done for them, she was still hiding things from them. Not just little things, but seriously life changing things. "Awh, that she does. World famous parties," she grinned. She wasn't sure she could consider them "world famous" but they most definitely had people from all over showing up whenever the word got out about the upcoming parties in the flat. "Can't help that I'm just bloody amazing," she added, taking another sip from the now nearly empty bottle of firewhiskey that she held in her hand. "So, who's up for some serious fun?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow at the two men in front of her. Never a good sign when Ari brought out the "serious fun." That never turned out safe for anyone.

Coast to coast, I'll take you down in flamesLet the good times roll, we can let go Everybody knows there's a party at the end of the world An explosion of green fire erupted from the fire place in Ari's living room. Rory Quinn O'Neill stepped out from the fire place, "Sorry I'm late," she said as she exhaled, wiping some soot from her jeans. "I guess I got off a few stops too early." The girl put down the maracas that she had been holding and tipped her sombrero to the people in the room. "I think I was just in Mexico. They sure know how to throw beastly taco parties." She spotted two of her favorite people and tossed her had, like a frisbee, onto a nearby chair. The redhead bounced over to them, smiling as usual. Rory's stride broke into a gallop as she jumped and dove onto both Ari and Danny, clinging to them with a giant bear hug. "ARI! DANNY!"
Rory hopped off of her friends and held out her fist to them for a fist bump. "What's up, guys?" she asked. Her face showed all different kinds of happy as she spoke. The girl's teammates meant more to her than almost anything, they were practically her family at this point. She loved being around them. The girl turned to the particularly sexy man standing with them. "Howdy," she said with a grin to the stranger. tagged: everyone? wearing: thismusic: misery business- paramore notes: sorry for the shortness ):

The grin that came across Daniels lips when Ari cuddled up to his side was automatic and one full of genuine adoration. He rolled his eyes at his smaller team mate when she called him her ‘baby’ but he still kept his smile and looped his arm around her shoulders, giving her a gentle squeeze. He smiled again when Ari bragged that she threw world famous parties. That was sort of true, to a degree. Everyone seemed to come flocking when they heard that Ari was throwing a party, the turn out she was got was always impressive.
It hadn’t taken any time at all to cheer Ari up, which Daniel was immensely glad for. He wasn’t sure what he’d do if he couldn’t get her out of the semi-depressed state she’d been in. The party definitely would’ve suffered without Ari and Daniel would’ve been down a drinking partner which, of course, would’ve been rubbish.
Daniel chugged down the last few mouthfuls of beer from his can and crushed it in his hand. He grinned and chuckled to himself a little when Ari asked if they were up for some serious fun. She had definitely cheered up that was for sure. “Babe, when are we not up for some serious fun?” Daniel asked and was about to suggest getting more alcohol when out of nowhere Rory leaped.
“Holy sh--” he stumbled back, but only a little, and used his free hand to hold Rory so that they didn’t all fall to the floor. The girl had a tackle like a rugby player which was just odd considering her tiny frame. “Rory.” Daniel flashed his pearly whites at the small female and bumped his large fist against hers. “You drunk already?”

Considering the fact that Rory kind of lived there, Ari honestly shouldn't have been all that surprised by the fact that she was in attendance for the party. However, what with her epic avoidance tactics over the past few months, Ari stiffened up when she heard Rory's voice from behind. Yeah, they were best friends and Ari loved her more than anything, but at the same time, it was hard to be around her. Every minute they spent together since the attack, Ari was afraid of what might happen, or what she might say to Rory. Ari never had been the best of secret keepers, especially when it came to her best friend, so she constantly had the worry that she would let her secret slip and that she would tell Rory everything. On top of that, of course, was the worry that she might snap on Rory, that she might somehow be around during a full moon and Ari might hurt her. So, it was weird to see her there, all happy and excited to see Ari, despite her less than friendly treatment as of late.
Backing away from the scene a bit, Ari's face was a mix of excitement to see Rory and worry, of course. "Ah, hey..." she said with a nod, acting as if she had completely missed the fist bump thing, despite the fact that it was blatantly obvious. Of course, Ari was sometimes rather dumb, so perhaps she would believe it if she pretended she didn't understand. Maybe. Than again, Rory could read her better than most anyone, so that probably wouldn't work out all too well. "Glad you could uh...come?" she mumbled, rather unsure of what else to say. Given the fact that Rory lived there, it was kind of a stupid thing to say, since obviously she would have had to come home at some point, but whatever. It was the only response Ari could think of at the moment that was sufficiently avoiding and not overly nice or rude.
At least Danny was there to keep the peace between them. Just his presence tended to soothe Ari into at least a civil frame of mind, considering the circumstances. "Danny love, that's entirely true. You're the most fun ever," she responded with an eager nod. Certainly, with Danny there and a party raging around her, it would be difficult to focus on the fact that the situation could quickly turn awkward for her. "Let's get seriously drunk and have the best night of our lives, yeah?" Ari asked, a smirk appearing on her face. Of course, that was her solution to just about everything. When things were going bad, get drunk and forget. When a situation was awkward, get drunk and make it much better. In all aspects, Ari could easily be considered an alcoholic, but it was a fact which was hidden well by her constant parties that went on and her social drinking habits. Of course, it wasn't something that she would ever be able to easily stop.

Felicity was not a partier. She didn't drink, she didn't go crazy with sex and she certainly wasn't the type of girl to find herself in an environment consisting of such things. However, she knew that sometimes it was a necessary inconvenience in her life. She was the type of person that did what she needed to do in order to get where she wanted to be and sometimes that involved doing uncomfortable things, such as attending this house party for Ari. She was quite fond of Ari, having known her briefly back in school. In fact, Ari had been on her Quidditch team when she was just starting out back at Hogwarts and she had a bit of a soft spot for the kid. So, when she heard that she was coming out of her reclusive six months, Felicity deemed it necessary to make an appearance.
Not only would this be good for her relationship with Ari and perhaps the rest of her team, but it would also look good if the press caught wind of it. Besides, if she could find something out about why Ari was taking a break and maybe even put out some feelers for it she was looking to switch teams, than that wouldn't be so bad either. All in all, it seemed like a fairly good "business" venture for the woman. Leave it to Felicity to find business reasons to attend a party. Dressing up in her most suitable party going outfit (a pair of jeans and a strapless, low-cut, green shirt) Felicity apparated from her own apartment to appear moments later at Ari's. The place always amused Felicity, since it was basically one giant club that just so happened to house the Puddlemere United team. Certainly not a situation she would have put her own team in.
Brushing her shirt down a bit, Felicity put her most charming smile on and walked into the flat. She doubted that the crew would be down on the already packed ground floor, so she ascended the stairs up to the first floor, giving nods where she deemed it appropriate and stopping a few times for a quick hello. However, when she saw Ari over with a few others from her team, her eyes lit up with success. Walking over to them, she paused a few steps away, so as not to disturb them overly much. "And she's back with a bang. Nicely put together Ari," she said as she came upon the group. "Hey Rory, Daniel," she added with a nod. While she wasn't the easiest to get along with a lot of the time, she was generally able to give off the appearance of friendly when it came to other Quidditch players, even if they were Muggleborns and former Gryffindors. However, she knew when she needed to play nice and could adapt just fine when necessary.

Callum finished off the enchantment on his bedroom door and pocketed his wand. He was sick to death of people entering his room pissed up. He couldn’t count the amount of times he’d walked into his room to find people passed out on the floor. Hell some even went at it in his bed. That really pissed him off. The only person who should be having sex in his bed was, of course, himself and whichever lucky girl he’d taken home. So, the spell on his door was definitely necessary. If any drunk person(s) should try to forcefully enter his room tonight they’ll be in for a very rude awakening.
Nodding his hello’s as he made his way through the house, Callum quickly found himself having to fend off a group of hyperactive fans. Sometimes he really hated the open door policy they had for parties. All sorts of people ended up arriving, crazy, OTT fans included. Most fans respected the players’ space and only approached every now and then, if they were alone for example. But of course that wasn’t always the case. Some fans were just downright annoying. Like the ones that were currently stopping the keeper from getting a drink.
“Callum, you are so amazing.” the small red head giggled and then, out of nowhere, squealed along with the two others girls she at her sides. Callum arched a brow and gave them a hint of a smile. Which only caused them to break out into another fit of giggles. ’Fucking kill me now.’ The giggly, hyperactive girls were always the worst. The urge to tell them to piss off was so strong that Callum had to bite his tongue. Acting rude, especially to the fans, would not go down well. Keeping up a good image was important for the team. They had a strong and loyal fan base and everyone liked it that way.
“Can we take some pictures?” the girl with the glasses asked and held up her camera. The red head and their friend nodded their heads eagerly, each gushing about how they’d love pictures and how everyone at Hogwarts would be jealous. He wished Dan was here. His best friend would only be happy to take the heat off of Callum. On that thought, Callum did a quick head scan of the area, ignoring, for the moment, the giggling girls and their tirade of questions. It didn’t take long to spot Dan because he was stood with Rory, who’s bright orange hair meant she wasn’t difficult to miss. He needed to get away from these girls and going along with them now meant that they wouldn‘t come over to pester him later on. He hoped.
“Sure.” he managed another smile. Being in the spotlight all the time meant that Callum had become pretty damn good at giving a convincing smile. A lot of moving about ensued then, in which each girl had their photo taken alone with Callum. These were followed by group photos and a few he where he posed alone. “Okay, ladies., enjoy the party.” He winked at them, an action that sent them into more hysterical giggles, and quickly departed the scene.
Shaking his head to himself, he definitely needed a drink, Callum headed over to where Daniel was stood with Rory, Ari, a male he didn’t recognize and the Captain of the Holyhead Harpies, Felicity Stryder. “Hey.” He greeted the whole group and sent a nod Daniels way.

Her hellos taken care of, Felicity was about ready to turn and head off to talk to someone else, since it seemed like the group was rather busy with their own discussions. She had no doubt that she could come across someone else that she could talk with for a little while before taking off. She'd made her appearance and as far as she was concerned, that was more than enough effort for the day. Besides, she had much better things to do than bumming about wasting her time with parties. There were always new plays to work out or practice to be had, so the less time that she was here, the more she could get done. Of course, she did know the value of a good round of publicity and this undoubtedly would bring that about. Even if it was the Puddlemere's house, there was no lack of Harpies fans mulling about.
However, Felicity wasn't big on interacting with the fans and much preferred to spend her time chatting with the other Quidditch players that were about. At least, in her opinion, they had something in common that they would be able to talk about. Outside of Quidditch, there wasn't really much of anything going on in her life. Sad, perhaps, but true. So, she was quite relieved when she saw Callum coming up to join the small group that had started to gather about. Even if he was on an opposing team, he was probably one of the people that she was most easily able to get along with. He was a former Slytherin, which certainly helped things and even if he wasn't as much of a pureblooded egotist as she was, he still was a pureblood. At the very least, he was someone that her parents would approve of her talking to and even if she was way past the age where she had to follow her parents instruction, it was something that had been ingrained in her thinking.
A subtle smile appeared on her face as Callum came over to the bunch and she nodded a quick hello before pausing. If he was going to get sucked into whatever conversation was going on with the rest of his team, she probably would part ways there and make her exit. Team drama certainly wasn't her thing and not at all something that she was interested in getting involved with. However, when a moment passed and he hadn't immersed himself in that line of conversation, Felicity made her move. "Cal, you look like you need a drink. Care to accompany me over to the bar?" she questioned, cocking her head to the side as she spoke. She wasn't much of a drinker herself, but it was a party and of course she probably wouldn't be allowed to leave the building without at least one drink down her throat, so she figured that she might as well start it off with Callum.
