Despite the fact that Talan had the means to live an exciting and fulfilling life, he often found himself just sitting around and doing absolutely nothing when he could be out doing something worthwhile. It wasn't that he didn't want to be out living his life to the fullest, it was just that he found himself becoming too absorbed in whatever schoolwork was at hand to do much else. He was generally a very practical person and his trips to Hogsmeade or to spend time with other people were often only because he had a list of other things on his hands that he needed to take care of in the town. It was very rare that he just went out to enjoy himself, a fact that he certainly regretted sometimes. However, his dedication to his studies and his post as Head Boy kept him from being too terribly distraught over the lack of excitement in his life. After all, if he was to be the Minister of Magic someday than he had to learn discipline now so that he could make it.
Sitting at a desk in the commons room, Talan sighed as he continued scratching at the parchment in front of him in hopes of finishing his potions essay before the evening was out, not at all in the mood to be dealing with the properties of wartroot in potions. It was so simple and anyone with a lick of intelligence could easily give a list of them. He really didn't see the purpose in sitting down and writing a whole new essay on something that more than one author had written about previously and definitely much better than he himself could write it. Sure, he had quite a lot of ability when it came to writing, but it wasn't at all what he wanted to do for a living and therefore it seemed like a complete waste of his life to bother with it. He wanted to be the Minister of Magic, not a potions author.
Grumbling slightly in irritation at the paper, Talan pushed it to the side and decided that he really wasn't in the mood for something so trivial. Essays could be done anytime and later would work just as well as now. In fact, much later would be even better. For now, Talan wanted to just sit back and do absolutely nothing related to school. Or, even better, find someone to do something with that would get him away from it for awhile. He considered messaging Megan, but he really wasn't in the mood to deal with her at the moment and he could have messaged someone else perhaps, but he didn't want any drama. No, Talan needed to be with one of the guys and go out and just be a guy for awhile. As much as he loved being the proper and well-bred young man that he was, even he deserved a chance to just be a teenager sometimes. Leaning back in his seat, he settled in to wait for someone interesting to come along that he could rope into doing something actually fun.

Chalesia was a simple girl with simple aspects on life, but she still wasn't one to wait for things to happen and was becoming quite impatient with the way things had been going in the last few days. Nothing was going on no trips to Hogsmeade to be planned and no one seemed to have anytime to hang. It seemed that no one in the Slytherin House had any fun lately and were too stuck with having their noses in the books, which she quite understood, but still come on where was the life of the well known Slytherin House? Even the Death Squadron hadn't been up for much lately.
Sitting on her window sill Chalesia looked out at the late afternoon. Headphones in her head something most of the students didn't have, but Chalesia was glad to have. As she looked down at all the students squandering around she laughed. They were so odd all of them down there. Worried so much about deadline's on school work it was too funny. Chalesia got her work done early at least normally unless the school work was to easy or it made her mad. With her headphones which she had magnified to keep all the noise out Chalesia had been able to concentrate and get things done without interuptions and thus now she sat on a window sill completely and utterly bored out of her skull.
"There's got to be someone around here who could want to hang out and do something..." She said finally sighing and clicking her play button on her mp3. Standing from the window sill listening to Say Ahh by Trey Songz Chalesia grabbed her coat and started for the stairs. Passing a few of the other girl's in her dorm Chalesia danced past them moving her hips lip syncing the song as she headed towards the commons. When she finally made it to the commons she nodded a very distressed it seemed Talen. Pulling one of her headphones back so she could still hear the song, but still hear his response whatever it was she walked up near him.
"Hey Talen..." She said her voice semi happy, but seemingly bored. The only thing keeping her mind focused on her good mood was the music. As she kept her distance though Chalesia finally came out with what she wanted to ask, "What you up to? I'm going to just come out and ask are you doing anything right now? I'm trying to find someone to hang with and you seem kind of stressed so... wondered if you'd like to get out and i don't know do something." Her question came off a little strong, but she knew it wasn't to strong. Chalesia wasn't someone to really talk to many people, but she knew Talen around the school and her house so she knew that he was a bit like that as well. Hoping he would say yes so she could stop being bored Chalesia finally went and sat on the couch across from him to wait patiently for an answer.

Sitting there alone and in relative silence may have bothered some people, but to Talan it was something that he found himself doing quite often. While he was a fairly popular guy amongst his own house and even some of the others, he wasn't the sort of person that went out and talked to people just because they were there. Talan rarely did anything without a purpose behind it and going out of his way to chat or hang out wasn't something that he had ever really done. He was raised with a very goal oriented family and it was just a trait that he had come to inherit from them. Of course, that wasn't to mean that he didn't know how to converse with people when he needed to. At that point, he was able to be whoever he needed to be for the situation. He could change his personality at the drop of a hat and meld himself into whatever was necessary at the time to get what he needed. At his core, he was a manipulator and he had honed that skill to a tee.
A light thump sounded out behind him as he heard the patter of footsteps coming his way, causing him to glance quickly to the side out of the corner of his eye to see who was coming. Talan was the kind of guy that knew who people were. Even if he had never talked to a person before, he most likely knew just about everything there was to know about a person. He was perceptive and of course, as head boy, he heard things. People looking to get an enemy in trouble, or looking to find a way out of trouble even, had a way of talking quite a bit and Talan simply sat back and listened. Sometimes he found it useful, since information was like gold in Talan's life. Anything that he could use to get an advantage on someone, he'd take it. However, the girl that he saw coming towards him was someone that he actually didn't mind and was also someone that he rarely found himself in a predicament where he needed to manipulate her in any way.
Chalesia was a fellow Slytherin and also part of the Death Pack at the school. In fact, she was the co-leader and therefore earned at least some glimmer of respect from the boy. Of course, Talan had no doubt that, were he so inclined, he could have taken on a leadership position with the pack and done a much better job than any of them with running it. Though, that was just his own superiority complex coming out. Turning around fully to face the girl, he inclined his head slightly as a greeting and raised an eyebrow to listen to what she had to say. Even if she was okay in his book, he was still a very critical sort of person and seemed to evaluate everything that people said, no matter how simple it was. He never knew when he might need to know something about a person later in life and so, he paid attention to every little detail of any interactions that he had with a person.
His eyes narrowed slightly as she spoke, not sure just how eager he was to go out and "hang" with the girl. However, as he thought about it more, it didn't seem like a particularly bad idea. After all, a further in with one of the lead figures of Death Pack couldn't hurt. Besides, it wasn't like she was an insufferable sort, so perhaps it would do him some good. Even if it wasn't his first choice of things to do, it would suffice. "Ah, Chalesia. You're looking ever so lovely today, I must say, and who would I be to say no to that?" he questioned, a light smirk playing on his lips as he spoke. His flattering comments weren't, by any means, coming from the heart, but with some people Talan felt almost obligated to lay out some form of compliment and Chalesia was one of them. "What, exactly, did you have in mind?" he asked, tilting his head slightly to the side as he did so.

Pushing her ideas of what she wanted to around in her head as she waited Chalesia listened to the music flowing through her headphones. It was the only entertainment besides the clubs it seemed around this area. Thats when it hit her why not see if Talen wanted to go to the club that is if he responded that he wanted to hang with. Her approach she'd known was weak, but no one could expect Chalesia to really be much of a talker most days. Unless it had to do with the Death Squad Chalesia never really talked to anyone unless it was a simple yes, no or maybe. Small short sentences that didn't need any thought or real work.
Growing up in a family where she was the youngest Chalesia never really felt the need to really speak out. She was adored and pretty much learned how to do everything by following her older sisters example. Life was simple that way she kept out of trouble for the most part and got pretty much everything and anything she wanted. Life of course wasn't the easiest being a Nott though, thus Chalesia later in life especially recently found herself fighting back against some students. Though keeping herself in good enough shape and order to help assistant in the Death Squad being one of the daughter's of a past well known Death Eater had made life in Hogwarts a little dizzying and hateful.
Hearing all the whispering from the Gryfindor's or at least those of the families whom had been against her own had gotten so intoxicating that Chalesia almost had gotten herself expelled within the first couple of years within the school. Finally one summer she came up with a way to ignore them and enjoy herself. Her family was pureblood, but Chalesia had always had a thing for muggle and magical music. Thus the summer before her third year Chalesia had asked her father for an mp3 player. He was sceptical about the idea at first, but once Chalesia explained to him her reasoning he gave in. It didn't take much for him to understand the burden which had been put upon his daughter, thus it wasn't hard for him to agree. After getting the device her father magnified it and made it able to have magical properties and be able to be used within Hogwart's grounds.
Slowly bringing herself back into the present though Chalesia listened as Talen commented on her beauty and such. Of course Chalesia knew this was both out of habit and the fact of where she stood in rank on the Death Squad, thus it really didn't effect her or make her blush like most of the other girl's when they were commented on. He then asked her what she had in mind for something to do, "I was thinking of going out to the club's I mean there is a Hogsmeade visit and such thus either people are here studying that i've already finished or out... so i thought maybe going out and having a little fun might be a good idea..." Her tone came off a little happy, but mostly just informational and monotonish. Chalesia wasn't much for emotions it seemed most days which made her easy to get along with and thus she never really fought much anymore, though what was the point when she could just put in her earbuds and ignore them instead.

If there was anything that Talan understood best, it was how to deal with people. He knew when he needed to play nice and when he needed to push his own reservations to the side to do something for someone else. He was, above anything, a manipulator. He knew how to play his cards perfectly to get to where he needed to go and that was a skill that he intended to use to the fullest. Politics, he knew, was tricky business and he would have to be at his utmost best if he was going to get anywhere with it. However, he absolutely believed that he had what it would take to become whatever he wanted. Of course, that eventually would end with him as the Minister of Magic, but it was all in good time. That was something else that Talan knew he had- patience. He could bide his time, gathering support and doing what needed to be done to get that position and, in his opinion, that put him far and above any other contenders for the position.
So, inevitably, even if the idea of clubbing was absolutely repulsive to the boy, he would agree to do just that. Chalesia was a relatively important figure in the school, given her position with the Death Pack, which meant that he needed to keep on her good side and occasionally cater to her whims. There was no telling if that importance would continue on after Hogwarts, but Talan was certainly willing to do what was necessary to maintain a working relationship with the girl. That was, in general, what most of his relationships were about- business. There were very few people that Talan could consider to be actual friends of his, since that just wasn't the sort of guy that he was. To him, his future endeavors were much more important than any silly little friendships that he may have now. Those would eventually fade, or so he assumed, so his career and building it was much more important.
Clasping his hands together on the desk in front of him, Talan inclined his head in a short nod. Did he want to go out to a club? Absolutely not. That was generally the last place you would find a boy such as Talan. He was much too stuffy and proper to loosen up enough for that sort of environment and he found it incredibly offsetting. "Perhaps it would. I suppose I'm in, than," Talan agreed. Unloosening his fingers from each other, Talan started to slowly drum them on the table, becoming lost in thought for a moment. To be honest, he wasn't sure he even had anything suitable to go clubbing in. The bulk of his wardrobe consisted of his wizarding robes and then a variety of suits to go to more upperclass functions in. Other than that, he had a few white t-shirts that he used to work out it, but nothing that would be deemed proper club attire.
Sliding the chair out, Talan got up from where he was sitting and turned to face Chalesia. "You are aware that I have no idea how to dance anything but the waltz, correct? And that I wouldn't know what to wear?" he inquired, cocking an eyebrow slightly. If Chalesia wanted to take over and fix him up to go out, than that was alright by him. He, somewhat at least, trusted her judgment when it came to this sort of thing. At the very least, she had more experience than he had in such matters, so he couldn't really contest what she said anyways. "But, ah, if you're up for it, than I suppose it could be...an experience," he nodded. He had almost used the word "fun", but that didn't exactly seem like a proper word to use in the situation just yet, considering his hesitations on the matter. He'd just have to wait and see where things went.

Chalesia was a girl of proper profession and being very neat, tidy and studious, but she also new how to have fun when it was needed to destress something she noticed as Talen seemed nervous about her prospect wasn't. Pushing her headphones around her neck she smiled carefully knowing this may take a little bit of work, but she was quite sure she could get the uptight boy to at least slightly loosen up. She knew how he worked even if many didn't notice it. Talen was someone of business and not really fun for he was looking for ways to keep his title up and be ready for things after school something many weren't even though most were studious around the school.
As she stood from her spot on the couch almost like it's own dance move being slow, smooth and contemplating. Chalesia had made her way to becoming the co-leader of the death pack not only for how smart she could be, but because she was observant and studious on everything including the look in someone's eye or just the way they presented themself instance. This is how she knew that getting someone like Talen to go clubbing was something that was a stretch. Walking over to him Chalesia looked Talen over. She could tell by his body type and the fact that most of her clubbing clothes were men style so she would be able to help him out if needed in the area of dancing though that was going to be harder. The boy knew the waltz so he knew the basis of actually just letting loose so maybe it wouldn't be too hard to get him to just let loose, but she wasn't sure.
"Now about the clothes thing though what do you have? Any like t-shirts or tank tops? If not I can take care of it and for the pants I can take care of that too and before you say oh hell no when i go clubbing i wear closer to men style outfits cause they are more comfortable so you'd be fine wearing my clothes for i'm sure with our body styles we wear close to the same size." Chalesia knew she had to take at least slight control of this situation. Being only a slight bit below the leader of the death squad she knew when she had to take control of something and this was a definite time too.

As hesitant as Talan was to go along with any of the ideas that Chalesia had for the evening, it was unlikely that he would protest far to much. Though, that didn't meant that he would express any excitement or even participate in the fullest. If anything, he would stand to the side and pretend as if he were participating to make her happy and then be done with the situation. If, that is, she would even go for that. It would take much more than simply the possibility of using her as an ally in the future to get Talan to put forth the effort to loosen up and just have fun in his life. Talan could be considered quite cold and calculating, always looking for a way to get ahead and rarely taking time for anything else. He was the ultimate, power seeker and that could be quite scary. He was generally an emotionless sort, only finding real pleasure in his successes and that was what made him dangerous.
Narrowing his eyes a bit at her question, he shook his head once to indicate that he most definitely didn't have anything that fit into her suggestions. "Ah, I have a few white shirts to sleep in on cold days, but nothing outside of that," he offered, knowing full well that it would be extremely unhelpful. He wasn't sure what she meant by "take care of it" and as she continued to talk he definitely didn't like the sound of where it was going. There was no way that she could get him to dress himself in her clothes, that just wasn't about to happen. Even if he was doing his best to make this work, that was going much too far for the boy. He quite prided himself of the fact that he was rather well built and manly. At least, he certainly liked to think that his toned muscles were rather manly, even if he could easily have been considered a bit metro sometimes with his style.
Giving her a rather skeptical look, Talan thought for a moment to consider his options. "Hm, how about I go ask one of the others if they have something I could borrow for the afternoon. Or, actually, I could just go find something from the dormitory myself. Though, you may want to accompany me to make sure that I pick something appropriate," Talan suggested, assuming that this would be an adequate compromise for the situation. She would get him dressed up in something suitable for the occasion and he would be able to retain at least some aspect of his manhood by simply just wearing something from one of the other guys. "I doubt if any of them would mind far too much, anyways," he shrugged. Honestly, it wasn't likely that people would cross Talan in something so simple. He wasn't the sort of guy that anyone would want to mess with, after all.

Chalesia wasn't someone to really be fooled and even though yes she liked to be the head of authority and wanted people to follow her commands this definetely wasn't one of those times. As she watched Talan's body language and his words she could feel how hesitant he was to even go with her to this club. It was as well known out of his range of things. He didn't dance, he didn't really hang out and he sure as hell didn't have fun. He was a business man nothing more worked his way to the top with no thought what so ever except to make things work to his advantage when he was older.
Chalesia was a woman of business as well, but she knew when she needed to loosen herself and get things in order in her social life for without one there really wasn't any point to making her way to the top or even attempt to. Her reasoning for asking Talan to come with her and go clubbing was to make him realize such things as entertainment and possibly get him to open up for once. He wasn't one to really throw out things she knew even with the death squad, but here would be his chance and yet he wasn't taking to it as anything other then his usual minipulation and this just wasn't really working well for Chalesia.
Sighing finally as she listened to him talk about going through the other boy's clothes up in his dorm she wanted to just throw her hands in the air and say screw it. She had known from the beginning asking him to have fun was a stretch, but this was just pathetic to say the least. He didn't want to borrow her clothes cause of his reputation. The clothes she wore for clubbing were men's clothes for crying out loud and yet he refused because a woman wore them even though no one ever saw her wearing them or even gotten a glimpse of them. She wanted to make this work so that he loosened up, but really was it worth the stress of getting him to work with her to even try?
"Go ahead and grab what you like I shall stay right here... I trust your judgement after all in what you shall wear. Women aren't allowed up into the men's dorm's anyway as you know..." with that she sat down. Her authority was taking place here and now. Though she didn't feel like being a bitch she was slightly annoyed at what was going on. She knew she was being used just so he could possibly have someone around who was going to make it in the world after school so she was going to allow him to choose what he wanted to wear and if he made a fool of himself at the club well... that was his own dilemma not her own anymore.

Talan could tell that he was starting to irritate Chalesia and, to be quite frank, that bothered him. She knew the type of person that he was and, given that, she should have known that getting him to simply go along with what she wanted without questioning it would be neigh impossible. If anything, the fact that she was getting irritated in any way was a testament to the fact that she probably didn't know how Talan worked as much as she thought that she did. She should have been prepared for just this and her irritation proved otherwise. It was a bit of a disappointment to Talan, to see that she wasn't exactly as talented in the realm of reading people as he'd assumed that she was, but it didn't bother him to the point where he would lose any sleep over it. Honestly, he couldn't have cared much less.
Giving her a slight shrug, Talan turned to go seek out something to wear from the boy's dorm. He didn't get why she cared all that much that he didn't want to wear her clothes, since pretty much any guy you talked to would have done the same thing that he had done. She was just in a touchy mood today and Talan was really not in the mood for it. Bounding down the stairs into the seventh years dormitory, Talan went over to one of his mate's dresser and started to rifle through the things that were there. There definitely was no lack of clothing to choose from and Talan was pretty certain that he had seen the boy out in a few of the outfits when he went out to the club. Taking out an outfit that seemed suitable enough, Talan changed into it and went back up to where Chalesia was waiting.
Raising an eyebrow as he walked over, he spun around once to let her see the entire outfit. "Suitable enough?" he asked, not at all sure if it would work. Honestly, Talan didn't feel at all comfortable in the outfit. The jeans were a little weird for him, since he usually wore slacks of some sort. The shirt was a little less odd, since the button down look was one that he wore on very casual days, but to be going out in it was admittedly strange. However, Talan assumed that it would be good enough to go out to a club in or, well, at least he hoped it was anyways. If not, perhaps that would just serve to get him out of the unfortunate task that Chalesia seemed to think was a good idea. Talan really just needed to learn how to relax once in awhile and not be so uptight. If that was even possible.

Chalesia wasn't all to sure if this was going to be the best night or not. As she sat in her spot on the couch waiting for Talan to return in what she was afraid would be a horrid outfit for clubbing Chalesia carefully pulled her legs up against her chest and looked at the rolling fire. Always cold in the Slytherin home if not for the fire Chalesia looked into the flames as they danced within themselves. Slipping the headphones back onto her head and turning on a tune Set the World on Fire. It was a little christian, but the mood seemed to suit Chalesia as she looked into the flames. Life really wasn't that much fun these days with being busy with the death squad, homework, and of course the bullshit with her own family and the people who gave her shit at school.
"Take my dreams Come and give them wings Lord with You Nothing I cannot do Take my dreams Come and give them wings Lord with You There's nothing I can't do Nothing I can't do
I'm gonna set the world on fire Set the world on fire "
As the song finished she felt someone near her and as she turned she jumped realizing that Talan had returned looking for her opinion on the outfit. Blushing terribly as she slid her headphones down Chalesia looked over the outfit. She liked most of it for it seemed calming and like he was able to relax the only thing was, "I... I like it... just maybe a pair of tennis shoes would suit the dance floor more... I... I don't want you to hurt your feet with those flip flops..." She then turned away again looking at the flames. She had probably embarrassed herself singing, but right now she just needed to ignore that fact.
Chalesia knew it was hard for Talan to relax and at this time it was as well for her, but she needed this she knew before she burst soon, "Hey... I'm really sorry if your not up for this so much I know you could tell I was irritated it was just cause I know your not comfortable and what I don't get is... why do you let everyone technically run your life if you don't want to do things?" She turned to look at Talan carefully then. This was a question that had been burning in her head for a while so finally she had to ask it.

To be perfectly honest, Talan hadn't been paying a lick of attention to Chalesia singing. He probably wouldn't have even realized that she had been the one singing along to whatever the hell that tune was unless she hadn't turned into a blushing mess. Talan was not good at all with dealing with that sort of thing and so blatantly ignored the fact that she seemed to be rather embarrassed. Blushing and stuttering just didn't fly well with the boy and he was pretty sure that saying anything about it would just make the whole situation that much more awkward. Though, he wasn't the one that had been singing some stupid song in the middle of the commons room, so he didn't feel particularly awkward at all.
Simply raising an eyebrow as she spoke, he nodded a bit at her suggestion. That did make sense, though he hadn't exactly been planning his outfit around the whole idea of dancing. Right, sure. I've got a pair of white trainers upstairs for when I go running. That should work," he nodded. Taking his wand from his pocket, he quickly summoned the shoes and a pair of socks, catching them when they came hurting towards him. Bending down, he untied the pair of shoes and took off the sandals before lacing the pair of trainers onto his feet. Getting back up from his kneeling position, Talan brushed off his pants, being sure to get any lingering dust off of them before he was satisfied. He was a bit of an obsessive compulsive when it came to dust or dirt on his clothes.
Leaning back a bit as she started to talk, Talan's face was rather blank as he stood there and listened. He had a masterful poker face and it was rare that people could get anything from simply watching his facial expressions. It was an interesting question that she posed, but Talan had an answer. Actually, he pretty much had an answer for everything. "I do things that other people ask because they're beneficial. Making connections, that sort of thing, eventually it'll all come back to be a good thing," he shrugged. Sure, he didn't like clubs, but he knew it was a good place to meet people. So, if he was dragged along, than he would go and possibly work the club to his benefit somehow.

Even though she had been embarrassed about the singing Chalesia's blushing had been more over the fact she hated being snuck up on and the fact that Talan looked besides the flip flops he had been wearing quite dashing in the lower key outfit. She knew it was uncomfortable for him to be wearing most of the clothing, but maybe getting him to do so might loosen him up, but as of yet there was no sign of such a thing happening and Chalesia really didn't expect much else. The answer he gave her to her question almost made her want to laugh. Just following what others want to make connections made it seem like you were nothing more then a puppet even if it benefitted you it more then likely benefitted the other person more then yourself and if you realize such things, yet you still stick around well then your just stupid. Shaking her head though deciding it best not to make a comment Chalesia walked towards her dorm, "I'll be right back..." She was going to hide any kind of emotion for the time being if Talan felt he must play around with what he thought was a way to meet more people to up his status then she was going to treat this for now like a business venue and not a fun time. Making her way up to her room Chalesia felt her fists grip. Her anger was going to build this whole night now more then likely, but that was the way of business she realized; anger, fake emotions and the likes. Slipping her headphones back on she turned on Furiously Dangerous then started to look through her drawers till she felt herself an outfit that worked for her attitude. When she finally found what she liked she threw it on and headed back downstairs. "Alright... whenever your ready..." Her face was blank as poker faced as his own. her outfit

If there was anything that Talan had come to notice about Chalesia, it was that she let her emotions overwhelm her too much when dealing with other people. Talan had learned how to block that out and by now was able to detach himself from just about any situation that might arise, a skill that he had found to be particularly useful when dealing with other people and situations. However, he could tell that Chalesia had not yet learned that skill. Letting herself get visibly flustered by his appearance and even going so far as to blush was a rookie mistake, in Talan's opinion. To be quite honest, he wasn't sure just how it was that she had come to be the co-leader of the death pack, since she was still making mistakes like that. Though, he supposed he couldn't really be too hard on her, since he was of course much more skilled in the ways of dealing with people than most people ever could be and probably noticed more about her actions than most would.
A rather amused smirk took hold of his face as she excused herself, presumably to go gather her wits about her. He found it too bad, really, that she was proving to be so easy to unhinge and without having done much of anything. Talan knew that he had quite a bit of talent when it came to other people and if he wanted something out of them, he could get it. What confused him, however, was the fact that he really wasn't looking to get anything out of Chalesia in that moment. He had no reason to be looking for anything from her at the time, since he wasn't expecting much to come from their outing. It was simply a chance for him to get out and socialize with people that he otherwise wouldn't have, but if she felt that it was any more than that, well, it was just another mistake on her part.
Getting quickly bored with the fact that she was off doing who knew what, Talan leaned his back against the couch, crossing his arms in front of him and maintaining his cool aura of nonchalant uncaring. It took her a few moments to get back downstairs and by then, it seemed, she had recovered some sense of composedness. Though, if Talan was reading into her cool manner properly, which he had no doubt he was, she was rather angry or upset for some reason. "Perhaps I'll just sit this one out," he commented with a shrug, looking to see if this would matter at all to her. Of course, now that he was dressed up to go out, he fully intended to go somewhere. Though, there was a better chance of him apparating elsewhere than sticking around to waste his time at a club in Hogsmeade.
