What. The. Fuck. Alex most definitely recalled telling the survey that she didn't want a damn thing to do with whatever bullshit charity event that the Ministry was cooking up, yet here she was, a part of some stupid committee that would be forced to babysit the masses of immature Hogwarts students. To Alex, this was pretty much her own personal hell. Anything that required her to do something that involved "working cooperatively" with other people wasn't something that she would want to do. Ever. In any way. At all. And that was precisely what her "fuck you" message to the Ministry had meant. But, no. She was still being forced to take part in their stupid event. Wanting to beat the crowds going down to the grounds for the start of the event, Alex had left a slight bit early to get to the meeting point for the security team. It was slightly off the path from the caretaker's hut, so she found herself a small stump and sat down on it with a scowl on her face. Of course no one else would be here yet. She would be the first person there that had to deal with everything. Fuck that shit.

Frankie walked along the path to the meeting point for the Security team, a piece of half eaten toast in one hand and a foam cup of hot chocolate in the other. When Frankie had been informed that she would be on the security team, her initial reaction had been disappointment, because she didn't want to miss the game. She still wasn't sure if they'd be allowed to watch it, but presumed they would once everyone had been seated. Frankie was really looking forward to watching the Students v the Pro's, though she hardly thought the game was fair. Oh well, it'd be fun to watch and Erinn would no doubt love it. That made Frankie smile, she had wished her little sister luck before they had headed off to do their own thing for the day. It had been easy to see then that Erinn was beyond excited.
Taking another bite of her toast, Frankie chewed slowly as she approached the girl sat on a small stump. She immediately recognized the female as Alex Munroe. Not that she was on speaking terms with the younger girl but a lot of people knew who Alex was. Not as someone who was popular but as someone you would completely avoid. Frankie liked to get on with everyone and she always made an effort to be polite. But Alex could be scary and it seemed she always went out of her way to ignore people and be down right moody. And now Frankie had to work with her for the day. Frowning to herself a little, the brunette finished off her toast and stopped off a little to the side of Alex. The girl looked beyond pissed. 'Eesh'
"Hi." Might as well try to be polite and maybe get a response out of the other girl. "This is the meeting spot for Security, right?"

Today was Braden's day. Today was the day that he would graduate from being a stupid cleaning man into a full-fledged security man. Even though it hadn't been specifically stated, he had taken the list to mean that he was the head of security and that everyone else was beneath him in these matters. Today, everyone would answer to him and it would be awesome. Obviously, Braden was a fucking boss today. He had no idea who else he'd be working with, but it didn't really matter much, since whoever it was would listen to him and only him. At least, that was how he saw it anyways. With a rather cocky stride, Braden made his way out to the location where they were meant to meet before the event began. Admittedly, he found himself frowning a bit when he came to see that at the moment, it was only girls. That was a pansyass team to let him take charge of. However, they were girls and Braden did like girls. Perhaps this would be okay. Sliding in next to the two, Braden waggled his eyebrows a bit at them. "Laaadies, I'm Braden. I'll be your fearless leader today, so if you have any questions, come to me. Or hell, just come to me anyways," he commented with a smirk. No, he wasn't actually in charge, but he sure as hell was going to act like it.

The longer that she was there, the less that she wanted to be there. Alex could already tell that today was going to be an absolutely miserable event and that was only more certain when she saw the people coming up to join her. People were just not something that Alex could handle very well and the fact that she was literally being forced to interact with a group of them was too much for her. Glancing up at the girl as she came forward, Alex nodded a bit in response to her question. "Unfortunately this is the place," she said. It was much less rude than she normally would have been, but it couldn't be considered all to pleasant either. At least she was making an effort. That is, until Braden came alone. Braden was precisely the sort of person that Alex detested in life and just as her luck would have it, he was one of the people she was stuck with for the day. "Oh, hell. How about you just go back to cleaning crew and quit the shit, Braden?" Alex asked, glaring up at him. She unfortunately knew the boy rather well from around the school and she highly doubted that they would put someone like him in charge of anything. That would be just plain stupid.

Frankie let out a quiet and relieved breath when Alex replied, somewhat civil. It seemed like Alex was making something of an effort which Frankie was very glad for. After all you needed communication with team work, right? Taking a sip from her hot chocolate, Frankie had begun to let her mind wander. She didn't want to annoy Alex with more talk than she had too, since she knew the other girl was not a fan of being around others. But then someone else arrived and pulled her attention back to reality.
Ah, it was the caretaker. What was his name again? Frankie always did forget it. Oh well, it wasn't really important. Well she thought it wasn't until he went and declared that he was the Security leader. Quirking a brow, Frankie stared at the male, a little bemused and shot a quick glance at Alex to see her reaction. Had Frankie missed something or was this guy just joking around? If Alex's sharp remark was anything to go by then yes, he was just messing around.
"Okay..." Frankie trailed off and shook her head, a smile on her face. "You're the caretaker, right? You shouldn't be prancing around pretending to be someone you're not. Security might think you're a threat and take you out" she raised her eye brows and mimicked slashing her throat with her finger before her grimace slipped into a harmless grin.

The reaction that he'd received from Alex was, more or less, exactly what he had been expecting and Braden had already worked up a response for it. Nothing, not even Alex, was about to ruin his perfect day. A fun event, no cleaning and a promotion all wrapped up into one, what more could he ask for? "That, dear Alex, is where you're wrong. Suuck on my promotion, bitches, 'cause I'm in charge here today. They pretty much said so," Braden said, a rather superior tone to his voice. Sure, he was fudging the facts a bit, but it wasn't like there was anyone to say otherwise. He was the oldest one there and he was technically part of the Hogwarts staff, so he clearly had the superiority thing here. He turned to the other girl with a most charming smile and waggled his eyebrows at her a bit. "You can take me out aaanytime you want. Where we goin'?" he responded with a rather amused grin.

Of course this was happening. Of course she would get stuck in a group with one of the most obnoxious people on the planet and some girl that more than likely was a bubbly, flirtatious type. Then she would be stuck there as they winked at each other and made sexual comments and Alex would want to kill herself. Typical day in the life. Narrowing her eyes and frowning up at the two of them, Alex couldn't help but blatantly show her disgust with the situation all over her face. Nothing about this day was going to turn out even remotely appealing to her. "Braden, no one in their right mind would give you a promotion," she pointed out. She was of the opinion that he most definitely didn't even deserve the lowlife job that he had been given, let alone a promotion. "And you shouldn't fall for his bullshit," she added, addressing Frankie. It wasn't like she actually knew the girls name, since she generally couldn't be assed to care.

Frankie seriously doubted that Braden had been put in charge of probably one of the most important tasks at an event, Security. The guy didn't come across at all professional. In fact, after he stated that they should 'suck on his promotion bitches' Frankie couldn't help but think this guy was a jackass. A cocky one at that. "I'll pass, thanks." She half snorted, half scoffed, a bemused smile still on her face. Was this guy for real? Wasn't he supposed to be on the same level as the professors? Since he was the caretaker Frankie thought so. And then Alex spoke, and all of Frankie's hopes that the other girl was going to play nice and a little less moody, came crashing down. Well it wasn't like her hopes had been high. At all.
What Alex said to her had Frankie peeved. What did the younger think she was going to do? Fall all over herself to flirt with Braden? She hadn't even said anything and here Alex was, telling her what to do like she was some bimbo airhead."Yeah, I can handle myself, thanks." she gave Alex a somewhat annoyed glance and then turned it full force on Braden. She wouldn't get mad at Alex, because that girl had serious social slash anger issues and there was no point creating tension with someone she had to work with. Getting pissed at Braden however was a different story.
"Look, If you've been promoted, prove it. If not get then just get lost." Frankie didn't get angry easily, it was pretty hard to provoke her since she was pretty chilled and level headed. But she was tired and she was starting to feel a little sick and Alex was pissed off, which would no doubt make working with her positively crap, which in turn meant that this day would be rubbish.

Braden frowned at the treatment that the two girls were given him. Clearly, they didn't know how to treat an authority figure such as himself. He'd have to chat up the Headmaster later to see if there was something he could do about it, like give them detention or something. That most definitely would be awesome. "Ah, you two...come on. Lighten up a bit, it's a party," he frowned, stretching his arms up above his head and yawning a bit. Looking over at the more friendly looking girl, he raised an eyebrow and scoffed a bit. "Check the damn list, my name is right there at the top of it. Obviously, that means that I've been promoted, duh," he said, shaking his head a bit. These girls were obviously pretty bloody stupid. Moving over to where Alex was sitting, he shoved himself onto the stump next to her, causing her to move over slightly. "So, what's the word, eh? Any big riots going to happen? Some crazy curses going to fly so we get to take some bitches down?" he asked, as if the previous conversation hadn't even happened.

Alex had more or less considered herself as being quite friendly in that moment at the fact that Frankie was being rather rude and giving her irritated looks was not something she was pleased by. Hell, she was just trying to give some, well, admittedly less than friendly advice to the girl. "Whatever," she shrugged, leaving it at that. Honestly, if she hadn't had the knowledge that she would be stuck with this group of people for the rest of the day, she would have been so much worse than she was being just now. However, she didn't want to make this any worse than it already was and so she simply left it. Glaring over at Braden as he came towards her, she really didn't want to know what, exactly, he would be doing. So, when he pushed his ass into the stump to sit down next to her, she reacted the only way that she could- by pushing him back off of it and onto the ground. "Fuck you, asshole," she grumbled, settling back into the stump for herself. "Well, here's to a hell of a day," she added with a sigh of irritation.

When Braden stated that they should 'check the damn list' Frankie felt like smacking a hand to her forehead. Of course she could check the list. Frankie couldn't believe she'd forgotten she had it on her. Shaking her head the brunette dug into the back pocket of her jeans, smiling triumphantly when she pulled out what it was she was looking for: the event list that held all of the needed details. If Braden had been made head of security then it would have been changed on the letter since the parchment was enchanted to notify changes.
Frankie unfolded the paper and began to read it over again. Her attention was pulled away when Alex pushed Braden from the stump he'd only just forcefully maneuvered himself onto. Frankie couldn't help but grin at that. It was still on her face when she turned her dark eyes from her team mates back to the parchment. Braden's name was indeed on the top of the list, it hadn't been before so he was supposed to be here. But he wasn't head of security. If his name being at the top meant he was then that meant Rose ranked lowest of them all as she was at the bottom of the list. Which would make no sense at all since she happened to be head girl. It stated nowhere that he was leader. Seemed like that was just some rubbish he was spewing to come across all important or.. something.
"Yeah. You aren't head of security." Frankie raised both her eyebrows and shook the piece of paper in her hand to show that she knew he was lying to them. "The ministry officials are in charge. You, mate, are just here to help like the rest of us." Frankie handed over the piece of paper for Alex to see so that the other girl could back her up. Frankie was pretty sure Braden wouldn't be happy with her ruining his fun. But really, could it be helped? The guy clearly needed to be put in his place. "Keep on pretending your the 'Leader'" Frankie air quoted here "if you want, but we sure aren't going to listen to you." She was careful not to add the word 'moron' or anything that was a cuss (though she really wanted to) because Braden was still the caretaker and he could still get them in trouble.

Rose Weasley's back was pushed up against the cold cement wall of the North Tower, the chest of a handsome Ravenclaw guy pressed up against hers as his fingers tangled in her red hair. Yes, the Head Girl was snogging on duty and she didn't even have to think twice about it. Rose smirked into the kiss as she flipped the guy against the wall, letting his hands wander. Her eyes glanced out the window for a split second and her responsibility seemed to slap her in the face. She was supposed to be down running security for the fund raiser. Crowds of people were already outside."Oh bugger," she muttered, separating her lips from the guy's for the first time in what seemed to be hours. "I have to go." Rose did feel a bit bad for leaving this guy hanging, but she was sure this wouldn't be the last time they see each other. "Nice meeting you," she said quickly as she smiled a him a bit seductively. The girl turned and headed out the door, picking her cloak up from the corner before she left. Rose flung her cloak on and sprinted down the stairs and across the lawn. Buttoning her shirt on the run was just one of those skills that she had acquired from her many years of experience.
Rose wiped her smudged lipgloss off on the back of her hand and ran her fingers through her messy red hair in a failing attempt to make it look better after snogging. She slowed her pace down into a strut and pulled up her slouched thigh-high socks in mid-stride. Her typical "I own your face" smirk played across her pink lips. The girl reached the security crew, "'Ello there," her smirk became a bit less powerful and a bit more friendly, "Lovely day. Isn't it?" She had just made out with a random guy, why wouldn't she be happy? "Sorry for my tardiness, I was finishing my rounds in the castle and I got a bit caught up." outfit: here

The last thing that Braden had been expecting was Alex pushing him off the stump. Flailing for a moment, he toppled over onto the ground with a thud. "What the fuck, bitch? Seriously?" he grumbled, picking himself up from the ground and brushing off the back of his pants. Clearly, Alex wasn't in the mood for his charming personality. Weird one she was. Turning his attention away from her, he put his focus back on the other girl. Perhaps she would have something better to say to him. Cocking an eyebrow as she looked down at the list, he was quite confident that she would find that his name was, in fact, on top of the list. To Braden, this meant he was in change, the leader, all that good stuff. Unfortunately, it didn't seem that the other girl agreed. "Nah, nah, look. My name's on top," he insisted.
Whatever this girl was getting on about, it wasn't what Braden wanted to hear. This was supposed to be his special day and no one wanted to listen to him. Jerks. Crinkling his nose up into an irritated look, Braden sat back down onto the ground with a scowl. "Who're you goin' to listen to then? The ministry officials? Don't see a damn one of them around here. I was just tryin' to be helpful," he grumbled. Glancing up at the new addition to their motley crew, Braden's face fell a bit when he saw that it was the head girl. That definitely wouldn't help his bid for being the leader of the crew at all. Keeping his less than pleased expression, he chose to ignore Rose and pretend like she wasn't there to further ruin his day.

To be honest, Alex couldn't have cared less if Braden was hurt by his tumble or not. Hell, they'd probably be better off if he broke a leg and had to go sit in the hospital wing for awhile. At least that would mean he wasn't hanging around them for the rest of the day and that was just the sort of thing that they needed. Taking the list from Frankie, she looked it over for a moment. Braden's name was at the top and for a moment, a scowl came to her face. Perhaps he wasn't lying. However, it took only a second more for her to realize why that was. "The list is alphabetical by last name, dumbass. It has nothing to do with you being the head of anything," she commented, rolling her eyes a bit. She shook her head a bit, handing the paper back over to Frankie before looking back up to see Rose coming along. They weren't friends, exactly, but Alex didn't hate her, so that counted for something. Sort of. However, she most definitely wouldn't agree that it was a lovely day, since it was anything but that.

Frankie couldn't believe this Braden guy was the Caretaker at this school. He was so unprofessional and rude. Who the hell would hire him? Frankie mentally decided that Hogwarts must have been desperate to take this joker on. And whilst it was great news that he wasn't the head of security, because that would have been awful, he was still a member of the team. Which meant they still had to spend time with him. Frankie had a feeling he wasn't about to start acting like the professional person he was supposed to either. The guy was like a giant kid.
A large and relieved smile tugged at Frankie's lips when Rose joined the group. Thank Merlin she had a friend out with here with her. Having Rose here would definitely make spending the day with mr. ego and ms. grouch much more bearable. When Rose apologized for being late, Frankie quirked a brow and a sly smile slipped onto her lips. "Oh really?" Frankie sent Rose a knowing look. She thought it was obvious, at least to her, what Rose had been up to. She'd have to get details later, when they were alone.
"Does anybody know when the officials are supposed to be showing up?"Frankie asked, glancing at Alex and then Rose in turn. She completely skipped over Braden because his attitude was grating her the wrong way. He'd probably have something to say anyway, no doubt. "Or are we supposed to just.. go and make sure everything's running fine on our own?"
