Talan was more than happy to let the food serve as a barrier to any sort of conversation for awhile. Though he didn't mind talking with Dani, sometimes any sort of long and drawn out conversation proved to be too much for him and he was quite thankful for the reprieve. Digging into his own bowl of soup, he let the silence fall as they both started to eat. He wasn't overly hungry, but the meal certainly wasn't going to hurt. Giving her a nod of agreement at what she had written, Talan continued eating until he had more or less made his way through the bowl. Wiping off his hands, he placed the napkin back onto the table and cleaned up any mess that had been made. Though, since it was Talan, there wasn't much mess to speak of. "Was there anything else you wanted?" he asked, looking over at Dani with a raised eyebrow.

Silence fell as they ate, and Dani didn¡¯t really mind. She wasn¡¯t one of those people who spoke during a meal since she found that quite annoying and she wanted to enjoy what she was eating right now. As she ate, she decided that she had to eat here more often and somehow manage to work her way through eating everything they offered, not at once of course. Sadly, it didn¡¯t take too long for her to finish her soup, but surprisingly she found herself to be quite full afterwards. Turns out she wasn¡¯t that hungry. Dani took a piece of bread from the basket and shook her head in reply to his question.

Satisfied that they had both eaten their fill of food, Talan reached into his pocket to take out a few galleons. It was more than enough to pay for the food, as well as enough to leave quite the hefty tip for their waitress. Talan always kept it classy and paid at least the typical fifteen percent tip that was expected when out to eat, though he usually ended up paying quite a bit more. It wasn't like he really had to worry far too much about money, after all. "Right, well than, I suppose we should be off," he commented with a nod. No sense hanging around when they were finished with their meals, since there were other people that could very well want that particular table. Not to mention, surely they had better things to do.
