Nika was probably right about Erinn needing to be more careful, but Erinn didn't particularly care to take that into consideration. If she wanted to parade about the forest, not much was going to stop her from doing just that. However, she also really wanted to see Nika and that generally won out over any dangerous exploring that she might have done. Wandering back towards the castle, Erinn found herself a comfortable spot by the lake to drop to the ground and settle in to wait for Nika. She doubted it would take the other girl too long to get there, providing she could find a shirt, but she was already quite anxious for her girlfriend to be there. They'd both been pretty busy lately, so they hadn't really had a chance to spend as much time together as she'd like.

Nika rummaged through her trunk and found a clean shirt. It was kind of difficult seeing as this particular fifth year wasn't the most organized on the planet. Once her shirt was on her body, she pretty much ran out of the common room and up the stairs to the main entrance. As soon as her front foot crossed the threshold, she pushed off, her features morphed into those of a raven. Taking a lap around the castle at top speed, the girl enjoyed the freedom that she was feeling. It had been a while since she had made the shift and it felt wonderful. Spotting a familiar figure, the bird dove down to the ground and perched on Erinn Thomas's shoulder, cooing softly. Hopping off of her shoulder, she stood next to the brunette for a moment before morphing back into her human form in the blink of an eye. Nika leaned over and kissed her girlfriend on the cheek. "Long time no see, eh?" she spoke with a small, playful smirk. "I missed you."

Waiting around was starting to get quite boring and Erinn frowned as she glanced back towards the front of the castle. Again, she didn't see Nika coming towards her and she let out a bit of a sigh. She hadn't been there for more than a few minutes total, but that didn't matter. Obviously it was far too long to be waiting. Irritably picking at her nails, Erinn's attention flickered up when she felt something coming towards her. It wasn't quite the person that she had been hoping for, but as the bird landed on her shoulder, a look of recognition passed her face and a wide grin took over. Nika. When the bird hopped off of her and transformed back into Nika, Erinn bit at her lip for a moment as she smiled. "I missed you too," she replied, looking over at Nika for a moment with a soft smile. "How've you been?" she asked, leaning back against the tree as she spoke.

When Erinn smiled, Nika couldn't help but do the same. "I've been good, I guess. My dad has been keeping me busy running around with his errands." By errands she meant, being told to travel to the main castles in Bulgaria to spy on other Death Eater families. Nika didn't mind really. It was jus a little irritating being her father's guinea pig. Why didn't he ask Vic to do that shit for him? After all, she was the smart one of he family. "What about you? Where have you been?"

As far as Erinn was concerned, errands sounded pretty boring. As much as she loved spending time with Nika, she was pretty glad that she didn't have to go run errands with her. "Sounds fun, I guess?" she shrugged, though it was obvious by the look on her face that she didn't quite agree. "Me? I've kind of just been sitting around here. Doing nothing. Like usual," she nodded. Not entirely true, but she hadn't really done anything noteworthy. Aside from her job dancing at the club, Erinn didn't do much with her time, really. Her eyes flickered over towards Nika for a second before darting away. "It's been kind of suck without you around," she admitted. Erinn was still getting used to saying things like that in person, since it was still a bit strange for her.

Nika chuckled slightly, "Not one bit." She hadn't really uncovered much. Everyone had remained loyal to her father so far without an issue. No one was secretly working for the marauders from all that she had dug up. So basically things were fine and her running all over the country was a waste of her time, time that she could be speeding doing other things like hanging out with her girlfriend. "Nothing is sometimes fun. I wouldn't mind sitting here with you doing nothing," the girl smiled a bit. "I'll be around more now. I think my father is done with me for a little while." Or a least that was what she was hoping. Her mother was trying to help her with that. She wanted her daughter to spend more time with Val and Lechov and the others, seeing as the marriage arrangement wasn't entirely off, not that Nika knew that at all.

As bad as it sounded, Erinn was okay with the fact that Nika hadn't had fun running around doing other things. Obviously, that meant she'd rather be there with her and Erinn quite liked that thought. "I guess, so. Nothing is a lot more fun when you're here, though," Erinn commented with a slight shrug. The fact that Nika would be around more often brightened her smile a bit more. Erinn knew that Nika found her family important and all, but sometimes she kind of hated that the girl was gone so often because of it. "So, we should obviously do stuff before he makes you leave again," Erinn decided with a prompt nod. She had learned to make the most of what time she could spend with Nika, especially now that summer would be starting soon and they would both be going back home.

Nika nodded at Erinn's ccomment. It was much more fun with the other around. Sometimes she wished that she could bring Erinn with her on her little assignments, but she knew that would end badly for everyone. Something would go wrong, they would both get caught, her father would get shit for that and so would Nika and Erinn. Nika for bringing her girlfriend and Erinn for just being Erinn. "We definitely should. I still have to take you to New York to see that show. And you should sleep over at my house after that because it ends late. And with a little magic we can hit up the clubs either in Bulgaria or New York, wherever you want really." Anika smiled. She had wanted to take Erinn to see Rocky Horror Picture Show for a while now, but every time she was about to, something would happen to prevent it. This time she was going to make sure they got there and enjoyed the show.

Going to New York with Nika sounded like the perfect getaway, along with sleeping over at her house. Honestly, Erinn would have been happy to do just about anything with Nika, as long as they got to spend time together. "That sounds perfect, Nik," Erinn agreed, a wide grin on her face. Being able to do crazy things like that was always fun, since Erinn had never really gone vacationing much with her family as a kid. With five children, it hadn't been easy on her parents, so it was exciting to go out and just explore the world with her girlfriend. "I don't even care what we do, as long as it's just you and me," she admitted, tilting her head over towards Nika as she spoke.

"It will be just us. I promise. I want it to be just us with no one to interrupt," the girl smiled. That was something that she was going to make sure would happen. Even if Val wanted to come, she would tell him no, that it's just going to be her and Erinn. And no matter how much he was going to hate hearing that, it was going to happen and he was going to have to deal with it. Damien too, another friend from her childhood, would have to wait until after to see her. "I'll make sure it's the best night you've ever had."

A night out with Nika and none of their friends sounded perfect. Having been apart for so long, it would be nice to just have some quality time to spend with each other. "Well, here's to hoping you won't disappoint, huh?" she joked, her lips pulling back into a smirk. She had no doubts that it would be an amazing night, especially when Nika was involved with it. It was always a good time with her there, but Erinn didn't doubt that it could easily turn into something amazing. "Can we get ice cream too while we're there?" Erinn asked, looking over at Nika with wide puppydog eyes. Usually, Erinn was banned from things like ice cream and candy, since it just added to her already overly enthusiastic personality with a sugar rush that just drove her off the wall crazy. It was a special night, though, obviously.

"I won't, I promise." Nika was going to do anything in her power to make things awesome for Erinn. She felt bad about leaving her all the time for family related things. It wasn't as if she really had a choice though. You were to be at those events in the proper attire or you would be put on Victor Krum's shit list for eternity. Nika didn't even want to know how her grandfather would react I she was late to Christmas dinner. It would be a crime worth of punishment in his eyes. "Yeah. I'm thinking Ollie's for dinner and then Cold Stone after so you can get your ice cream." Val introduced her to both of those places and they quickly became a few of her favorite places to eat.

"Aw, you're too sweet," Erinn commented, a playful smirk on her face as she spoke. To be honest, sometimes it still took her by surprise that Nika actually kind of cared about her. They'd pretty much been enemies for years and the fact that they weren't fighting anymore was something Erinn couldn't help but be amazed by. Not to mention the fact that sometimes Nika was kind of a softie, which she never would have expected. "Not a clue what that is, but I trust you," Erinn nodded. Erinn was pretty flexible with whatever, so it wasn't like it would be easy to screw up picking a place to eat. Leaning forward, Erinn wrapped her hands around her legs, resting her head on her knees for a moment. "D'you think we'll see each other over the summer?" Erinn asked, her voice lowering a bit. She didn't want to admit that she was kind of worried about it, but she was. Nika would be back in Bulgaria with all her old friends and Val and it would be easy for her to just forget about Erinn.

Nika blushed a little bit and looked down at the grass for a moment when Erinn said she was sweet. It was a rare occasion when she was called something like that. Usually it was something along the lines of 'you're a bitch' or, her personal favorite, 'malŭk dyavol'. It had taken the girl pretty much five years to come to terms with the fact that she had a crush on the gryffindor, five years of cruel pranks and hardcore competition, but she finally cracked and it was pretty much the greatest thing to ever happen to her. Now she couldn't imagine life in any other way. "Yeah, it's awesome. Chinese food and then this ice cream place with all of the flavors you could ever imagine. Plus, they have oreo toppings. That's my favorite." Nika nodded with a smile. Every time she went there she ordered the same thing. Mint ice cream with crushed oreos. It was pretty much an orgasm in your mouth, that's how good it was. Erinn's question sort of took the girl by surprise. She really hand't thought about what was going to happen over the summer. Val was supposed to take her to some of his favorite spots, but that was as far as she had gotten with the planning. "Yeah, I think so," she said with a nod, reaching her arms out to scoop Erinn closer to her, "I'll come to England to visit you whenever I can."

The slight blush that appeared on Nika's face brought a smile to Erinn's face, though she didn't tease Nika about it. It was kind of cute that she could have that effect on Nika, really. Despite how much Erinn had enjoyed tormenting Nika in the last five years, she had to admit that dating her was a whole lot better. She couldn't imagine going back to the way things had used to be, nor would she want things to change. "Hm, that does sound good," Erinn agreed. Cookies on top of ice cream along with whatever else she wanted, well, Erinn wasn't going to be against that at all. Her smile fell a bit when Nika responded. Thinking they would see each other definitely wasn't that heartening. However, being pulled in closer to Nika brought the smile back to her face. "Promise?" she asked, resting her head against the other girl's chest. Summer was a long few months and not seeing Nika all the time would be hard, especially if she was stuck at home with her family. Odds were, it was going to be a long summer.
