All in all, it hadn't been a total fail of a day. The fact that they were even playing against the professionals at all was amazing, even if they didn't have a chance in hell of winning the match. It had, more or less, been pretty painless. They'd gone in and they'd manage to score a few times (though, Erinn was pretty convinced that this had been a complete fluke) and then the opposing seeker went and caught the snitch pretty early on. It hadn't been a particularly long match, but they had played as hard as they could. So, even if they hadn't won, it had been one of the best days in awhile. Surprisingly, the team hadn't totally failed and managed to work together, sort of, for the majority of the time. Of course, afterwards they had gone their separate ways. Erinn had stuck around for a few minutes to chat at the professionals and some of the other people in the crowd, but had soon left to start getting ready for the ball.
As nervous as she had been about the Quidditch match, this was much, much more intimidating. The fact that it was a formal event and that certain people would be there meant that Erinn had to dress to impress and be ready for an interesting night. Of course, she'd made sure to get the best possible outfit for the event and was now getting dressed and ready to go. She doubted that her sister would approve of it, but she didn't care. She wasn't wearing it for Frankie. Tugging on the dress, Erinn made one last check before heading down to the Great Hall, which had been specially decorated for the evening. Settling in near the entrance, Erinn leaned up next to the wall to wait for someone interesting to come along. Certainly, it wouldn't take far too long for that to happen.

Sexxxxxyyyy Walking into the ball, DC felt a little disappointed at the outcome of this afternoon's game. He tried everything in his power to stop all of the balls that came in his direction from the professionals; and although he managed to get a few excellent blocks in, DC couldn't save them all. Luckily they didn't die in complete embarrassment. And there was even some rumor about Daniel and Professor Ari signing a few students to play for them next year. But the most important thing that mattered to him was that he did his best, his entire team did their best, and they didn't walk away without defending their honor.
Regardless, Dean Christopher was ready to put the game behind and simply party for the rest of the night. He had been planning this night for a while, and although he didn't exactly have a date, he already promised a few girls that he would save a dance for them. He especially knew that he'd have to have one slow dance with Erinn, a friendly dance with Aspen, and a nice dance with Kaiya. After that, he was free, which meant his first year fans would be all over him. If they even still loved him at this point.
Fidgeting a little with the tag on his shirt, DC searched the room in an attempt to find someone he knew. Almost immediately, he spotted his cousin. Walking over, he gave a low whistle to get her attention. Gosh Erinn, you look amazing! He gave her a huge grin as he looked at her from head to toe, then taking her hand and spinning her around slowly. You're going to be the talk of the party, that's for sure. He gave her another smile. Do you want something to drink? I'm heading over there now.

It didn't take long for someone to arrive and Erinn was definitely glad to see that it was DC. He'd been right there with her on the pitch fighting for a win and he could understand the mix of emotions she was feeling from that. Not, perhaps, the nervousness about the ball, but other than that he understood. Grinning a bit as he complimented her attire, she gladly let him take her hand and spun around to show off the entire getup. "You think so? I hope so. I certainly tried. You know. For no specific reason," she nodded, obviously not trying to hide anything with that. "You look good too. Definitely dressed to impress. Who's the lucky lady tonight?" she asked, sporting a rather impish grin as she asked him. She didn't often pry into his love life, but obviously this was a special occasion.
Her eyes drifted toward the entrance for a moment before turning to nod at his question. "Yeah, sure. We can do drinks," she decided, though it was obvious that she did so with a hint of hesitation. Taking hold of his arm, she started walking with him over towards the drinks. "You did good today, by the way. Definitely a good chance you'll be picked up for a professional team before long," she commented with a supportive grin. She knew that DC wanted that more than anything and she was pretty damn confident that he'd get it. Especially with all the scouts and players that were hanging around today, it was quite likely that someone had taken notice of his skills. "Betcha you'll have an offer before the end of the week. Any idea which team you want to play for?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

DC smiled once again at Erinn and looked at her outfit approvingly. Who's the lucky lady for me? Who's the lucky person for you? He didn't know who she was pursuing these days, more specifically what gender, and it upset him greatly that she wouldn't openly say it; especially after he had stated over and over that he thoroughly supported her decisions. However, Dean had an inkling, as he followed her sight towards the entrance. He leaned in close, and whispered in her ear. If you're waiting for who I think you're waiting for, she'll be here. And if not, it's her lost. Don't fret about it Rinn, you look gorgeous. And I'm sure she thinks so too. DC straightened up, and spoke in his normal tone. As for me, I'm not sure how I feel about her. When I figure it out, I'll letcha know. But we most definitely need to have a dance at some point tonight.
He took the girl's hand and walked over towards where the drinks were located. Relax Erinn. I doubt they'll serve alcoholic beverages on school grounds, especially with the Ministry here. DC could understand her hesitation, because he knew how much of a mess she became when she was drunk. Besides, if it's that important to you, I could watch how much you drink, and cut you off. He wanted to make this a special night for his cousin, if she was indeed waiting for a special person.
He was quite grateful that the conversation turned away from relationships and towards something he always enjoys talking about. Thanks Erinn. You did quite excellent yourself. There were some goals that I most definitely could block. But I think the awestruck of playing with the professionals got to my head a little. He chuckled, hoping that he wasn't the only one to be drooling over famous people. I definitely hope to get some kind of offering. I'd love to play with Daniel and Professor Ari, but I'm opened to whatever comes my way. But thanks Erinn, that's really nice of you to be so confident. Even when I'm not.

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=30281742 Ellie Wood stood at the doorway to the venue. She spun a bit, looking for a sight of any of her friends, her dress bouncing against her knee. She spotted a few classmates she wasn't too fond of chatting in a corner, but decided to leave them be. She wanted to find Erinn to get this night going. Parties were always more fun when Erinn was around, even for the slightly introverted Ellie.
Ellie spotted her around the corner, talking to DC. Her heels clicked as she started off towards the pair. "Hey, guys!" Ellie said, grabbing Erinn's cup out of her hand, taking a swig, and putting it back. She didn't know what it was, and she didn't care. She felt like having some sort of fun, as her week had been extremely stressful. "Way to hold your own at the game, guys! I was cheering you on," she said, smiling, her hand on her hip, her blonde hair down her shoulders in curls.

Erinn couldn't help but chew on her lip a bit at his use of the word "person." As much as she was loathe to admit it, he obviously had some sort of clue that she wasn't exactly all that into guys anymore. It was probably her own fault for being incapable to fake it as much as she wished she could, but it wasn't like she could help it half the time. Her eyes flashed down to the ground for a moment as he continued talking, but a shadow of a smile passed her face when he assured her that she looked good enough. "Not waiting for anyone, Dean Chistopher. Just getting myself all dolled up so I can work the crowd, yanno? It'll be like being at work, good times," she nodded, continuing on with the line of thought that she definitely had no one in mind that she was waiting for, even if it was evident Dean knew otherwise.
She raised an eyebrow at him when he straightened back up and mentioned that there was, in fact, a someone on his end. "Ooh, Deany has a girlfriend, eh? Who is it and why have you not told me about a possible someone until now?" Erinn asked. She was, technically, being a bit hypocritical, given that she hadn't said a word about her potential interest in Nika. However, Erinn didn't care. It was probably a bit easier for Dean to talk about his girl than for her to talk about her own. "But, of course, you know it. Wouldn't leave the dance without one," she promised, giving him a quick nod. Obviously, she planned on dancing with as many people as possible, specifically as many hot guys as possible, with the intention of making Nika jealous as all hell. The outfit was a good start, but anything else she could get after that would be even better. She fully intended to pull out all the stops on this one.
Chuckling a bit at his comment, she shrugged a bit. Perhaps it would have been a lot easier tonight if she was drunk, but clearly that probably wouldn't happen. "Hey, yeah. No worries, no alcohol for Erinn today. I'm flying sober," she promised. Though, she probably wouldn't say no if it did happen to start coming about at the dance. "But uh, if it does come around, please don't stop me. In fact, shove it down my throat and get me schwasted as hell," she asked. She doubted that Dean would even slightly agree to such a thing, but it was said with such an innocent looking grin that perhaps he would just accept it and agree. Perhaps.
She wouldn't say that she had done excellent, but she'd definitely held her own out there, given the circumstances. She laughed a bit and nodded in agreement to what he had said. It was definitely quite the experience playing with the pros and sometimes she couldn't help but stare at them. All of them were just so damn hot. "Oooh, definitely. Seeing them play was just, amazing. I legit haven't done anything so cool in my life," Erinn eagerly gushed. That was definitely a subject she could talk about for hours. "Awh, yeah. Puddlemere would be cool. S'where Felix's dad played. I'm kind of leaning towards the Harpies, myself. Felicity is ho- ...an amazing player," Erinn nodded, catching herself before she could say anything incriminating.
Clearing her throat a bit, Erinn was more than glad to see Ellie coming up towards them. "Ellie! Thank Merlin," she said, not even yelling at the girl when she took her cup for a moment. "I seriously wish you had been playing, would have made shit so much easier, yanno?" she said, nodded vigorously. Leave it to her best friend to show up at the perfect time and keep her from messing up, once again. "But, obviously, it was good to have you cheering my awesome on," she added with a light smirk.

Nika was a bit annoyed at the outcome of the game. She wasn't a chaser, it wasn't her job. But the girl learned to deal with it quickly. She couldn't complain because she knew that she wouldn't win that argument. Now she had to go to the ball, which wasn't much of a thrill either. At least her friends would be there to keep her sane for most of the night. Maybe Erinn would be there, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. The girl wasn't entirely sure. In fact, the girl wasn't entirely sure of anything that was happening between them. It didn't matter anyway. She would roll with the punches, play with the cards that she is dealt.
Nika took her time getting ready. It wasn't often that parties like this were hosted in Hogwarts. If you wanted to party, you usually had to host it in private or sneak out of the castle. Nika had received a package from her father with the dress that she would be wearing to the event. She picked it up out of the box and examined it. Good choice, dad, she thought to herself. Though she knew that he probably didn't pick it out. It was probably her mother, who had a particularly good sense of fashion.
The girl put her dress on, did her makeup and took one last look in the mirror before walking up to the Great Hall. She entered and walked through the growing crowds of people. Nika looked around, nothing really amused her, except for the bar of course. That was the first place the girl stopped, ordering herself a butterbeer before turning and seeing Erinn, Ellie and DC. She waved nonchalantly at both of them. "Hey there," she said calmly. This girl wasn't the kind of person to get all hyperactive and flaily at parties. She just hung around and talked to people that didn't piss her off. ::outfit: this::

Ellie smiled as Erinn greeted her. "So what was that, anyway?" Ellie said, nodding towards Erinn's drink. Ellie's policy towards drinking fluctuated as the days went on. Sometimes she was against it, thinking it made people look like fools and it was awful for you, and then the rest of the time she could let hell loose and drink as much as she pleased. She always had a sense that Erinn favored the second, inebriated Ellie more than the frigid one.
"I know," Ellie said, shrugging her shoulders. "It would've been nice to have played, but hey, everything happens for a reason!" she smiled. "I'm just glad to watch you and my brother play. Speaking of him, where is he?" She asked, searching around the room. Her brother and her had a very interesting relationship. He could be her best friend in the world one day, able to talk about anything, always making her smile, and the next day, she would want to kill him. She usually either wanted to kill him on days of Quidditch practice, or when his overprotectiveness went too far into her business and consistently overstepped his boundaries. But she loved him regardless, and always wanted to make sure he was okay.

Dc shrugged off Erinn's comment about not waiting for anyone. Sure little one. Whatever you say. She knew that he knew she was lying, but he wasn't going to push her for anymore information. Erinn would tell him when she was ready to talk. Ahh, like I said, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this girl. It depends on how things play out. But you'll definitely be the first to know if anything grows out of it. He flashed her a smile. Dean Christopher honestly didn't know how he was going to feel if Kaiya decided to come to the ball.
Really? Flying sober? What a boss. DC was pretty sure that was the first time he's ever heard his cousin say such a thing. So tonight must really be a special occasion for her. Haha, wait. I thought you just wanted me to keep you sober? Now you want me to pour it down your throat? What do you want from me? He threw his hands in the air, laughing all the while. I'm not saying you can't enjoy yourself tonight. Just don't get crazy. He shook his head, simply because she was driving him crazy; but he could tell that Erinn was nervous for this someone to arrive.
It would definitely be awesome to play for the same team, eventually. He smiled at her. Felix's dad, eh? That means he'll probably get a spot on the team. I'll just have to ask my own dad to buy out the team, totally guaranteeing a spot for me. He looked at her and beamed. I'm kidding of course. I would never do that. Well....no I would never do that.
DC quickly glanced over to the person joining their group. Hey Ellie. He nodded a quick greeting to the girl. With more people showing up, Dean Christopher knew that he should be leaving Erinn with her girlfriends, and finding some of his own friends. Yes, you should have been playing on our team today. He nodded in agreement with Erinn. But don't let my cousin fool you. I can tell you were definitely cheering for my awesomeness. He grinned again, and looked at Erinn in that I'm-totally-teasing-you kind of way. Just then, another person joined the group. His eyes flickered onto Nika's face, and then jump to Erinn. He stood there unsure of what to do. DC leaned into Erinn, and whispered into her ear. Go get them oinkers. He flashed her a smile, and squeezed her hand, to show that he cared, and then crossed the dance floor to chat with some of his other friends.

As much as Erinn wanted to continue paying attention to Dean and the conversation they were having, she couldn't. The moment Nika arrived at the party, Erinn was done. Whatever conversations she'd been having with Dean were more or less forgotten and the incessant fear that she'd felt for the last few hours was starting to creep into the forefront of her mind. On one hand, she wanted Nika there. Not just there, but with her and actually having a good time, not worrying about the whole fact that people were there. But, on the other hand, Erinn knew that was unrealistic. She knew that Dean was there and that Ellie was right here next to her and that eventually the rest of her family would show up, which definitely made her nerves skyrocket. Yet, she couldn't help but keep her eyes on Nika as she walked over.
Biting at her lip rather nervously, Erinn turned back to Dean for a moment with a nod. "Yeah, yeah, exactly," she mumbled, though it was obvious that she hadn't been listening to a word he was saying. She felt kind of bad about it, but at the same time it wasn't like she could help it. Obviously, this was all Nika's fault. Shaking her head a bit, she figured that Nika probably wouldn't be all too interested in coming over here anyways, so she turned her attention back to Ellie. "Uhm, don't have a clue. Some sort of punch, but I don't think it's alcoholic. But I wish it was, so if you have some liquor...share it," Erinn nodded, giving Ellie a rather amused look. She doubted that Ellie would ever do such a thing, but a girl could hope, right?
At her question, Erinn looked back out to see if she saw Felix, but she didn't. "Eh, I'm pretty sure he's still in the locker rooms crying or something," Erinn offered, deciding that this seemed like a fairly likely place for Felix to be. That or he was off taking in the glory of the game with any number of girls, but it was probably best to just go with the crying story for Ellie's sake. "He'll be here, I'm sure. There's too many girls around for Felix not to come sniffing about for a hookup," Erinn nodded, pretty confident in this. He wasn't exactly known for keeping it in his pants, but then again, he'd never actually come on to anyone like that seriously from what she had seen. Though, what went on behind closed doors was an entirely different story that she really would rather avoid.
For a bit, Erinn calmed down, comforted by the fact that it was just her, Ellie and Dean. She could live with that, even if it meant that Nika wasn't there, since it was safe. Nothing could go wrong, technically, if it was just them. However, that didn't last long. When Nika walked up, Erinn was caught up for a moment and incapable of saying much of anything, for fear of saying something wrong or stupid. "Ah, hey," she said, giving Nika a nod. She was acting much cooler and at ease than she felt, but that was how she rolled. Turning to Dean for a moment as he commented to her, she gave him a fake look of confusion and shrugged as he turned to leave. "Yeah, later, mate," she nodded, turning back to Nika and Ellie with an awkward pause. "So uh, who wants to get drunk?" she asked, definitely all for the idea.

"Hi, Nika," Ellie said, glancing at the girl. She couldn't help but notice that Erinn's overall demeanor changed when the girl had walked up. She shook it off, wondering what difference this girl's presence made on Erinn, but decided it was nothing and she might've been going crazy. "Oh, my damn brother, can't keep out of anything that moves..." she trailed off, looking around the room once more, not being able to find her brother, slightly worried, but believing that he was, as Erinn said, in the locker room. She wouldn't hold it against him, her mother said their father did it all the time back in school, and her father and Felix were so similar in personality, it was bound to happen eventually.
Ellie turned back to Erinn, noting the devilish gleam in her eye was present, but not completely prominent. "You know what? Hell with it, I'm up for it," Ellie said, smiling, feeling a rush off of being a bit crazy. She knew that it would make Erinn happy, because Erinn was a wild child, and Ellie just had to get over that. Ellie pulled up the top of her dress a bit, as it was falling, and looked Erinn in the eye. "Did you bring anything?"

Frankie walked down the corridor with a couple of her friends from her potions class. They were chattering excitedly, gushing about how lovely they looked and who they'd be dancing with at the ball tonight. Frankie herself was unusually quiet. She'd gotten ready with them like she usually did, but she didn't dance around the room like she normally would and she turned down any alcohol that was offered to her. They'd given her odd glances then but she'd just smiled and said that she felt a little sick. Which was the truth, she'd been feeling sick, on and off, ever since doing her rounds on secruity at the charity event. Luckily her friends were too caught up in their own excited bubbles that they didn't pry too much. Besides it wasn't like Frankie knew why she was going through spells of feeling great and then suddenly rubbish. She figured that she was probably just coming down with Lily potters cold. A quick trip to the hospital wing tomorrow and she could stop the cold in it's tracks now before it got any worse. The fact that she was a few days late on her time of month wasn't worrying her all that much. Mostly because she refused to believe that her being late meant anything. Because it couldn't. Besides she'd been late before, it happened right? Usually when she was stressed and she had been lately, what with her enormous school workload. So, yes, she wasn't going to worry about that, she was sure she'd come on anytime now.
Of course thinking about being late made her thoughts switch to Felix. He was another reason she wasn't feeling up to going to the ball tonight. Ever since.. that night, things had been sort of awkward between them. Mostly because Frankie bolted from the room whenever Felix walked in and turned back the way she was coming if she saw him heading in her general direction. Ever since she'd freaked after waking up that morning she'd been avoiding him at all costs. But tonight he'd be there and she'd be there and they'd no doubt end up bumping into each other. Her stomach twisted with dread at the idea of having to face him. She really didn't know what she would say but she decided then and there that she would deal with having to face him if it came down to it.
The girls had reached the Great Hall without Frankie realizing. She blinked, surprised and stopped at the door to go over herself and add some last minute adjustments. Using her fingers, she added some more volume to the roots of her hair. She'd styled it in loose waves that hung over her shoulders, rather than wearing it in it's usual straight style. Then she opened her clutch and pulled out a pink lip gloss, which she quickly flicked over her lips.
"Come on Frankie"
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Closing her clutch, Frankie took a deep breath to steady herself and then entered the Great Hall. She wasn't feeling sick at the moment which was great but she wasn't feeling one hundred percent either. Oh well, she'd just have to slap on a smile and power through. Walking into the Hall, Frankie marveled a little at the decor, they'd really gone all out. Dropping her gaze, she spotted, her sister Erinn across the hall and decided to go say Hi.
"Heeey, looking sexy." Frankie grinned as she came up besides Erinn, she said hello to Ellie and nodded a polite hello at Nika. "You girls look nice. You'll be fighting them off tonight" Frankie smiled and winked but it faltered a bit when she looked back to Erinn, "You okay?"

Balls were absolutely one of Felix's favorite things to attend. It gave him a chance to get all dressed up and looking suave and sexy for the ladies, which was awesome. Besides, he was actual quite good on his feet and could dance pretty well with most styles of music, so it was a good way to show off some skills that weren't always seen. Not to mention, he needed a bit of a pick me up after the match that day. To be honest, he was still fuming about the whole ordeal. The fact that they had put him on as a beater was a serious blow to the pride. Every shot that Dean had missed, Felix knew he could have gotten. Perhaps that was just his cocky attitude speaking, but he had no doubt that he could have done a way better job. So, he was a bit pissed about it still, but whatever.
The match had still be fun and he still had a good number of girls flocking to him to shower him with praise and admiration. Definitely a good day. Felix liked attention, especially when it was from girls, so the match had turned out pretty decent overall. It had taken quite some time for Felix to escape from the mass of fans that had gathered about him after the match, so he was running a bit behind with getting ready for the ball. Obviously, he had to make sure that he looked his absolute best, since this was just a continuation of his reign as the most wanted man in the school for the day. He clearly had to be sure that he saved the night for dancing with whoever came his way, which, he was quite certain would be plenty of girls.
Changing into his outfit for the ball, Felix quickly styled his hair in that adorably messy manner that he preferred and started to make his way down to the Great Hall. When he got there, he was instantly accosted by a young fourth year begging him for a dance, which he typically would have agreed to with a charming smile. However, the first thing that he saw when he got there was Ellie. Ellie in a very short, revealing dress that he most definitely DID NOT approve of. This had to be fixed immediately. Charging over there with his jacket, Felix came up next to Ellie with a bit of a flail and held his jacket out to her with a pleading look. "Ellie, wear, now," he said simply, gaping a bit too much to form any coherent sentences. It was like she was trying to drive him crazy.
Upon arriving where Ellie was standing, he quickly took note of the fact that Erinn, Nika and Frankie were also there. From what he could tell, Frankie had more or less been avoiding him since they'd hooked up back at the beach party, which kind of sucked, but whatever. Felix was happy to let her have her space if she needed it, but he wasn't about to let the moment turn awkward. "Ladies, lookin' good," he commented, nodding his head and flashing the three a grin. "Dresssed up just for me, didn't you?" he added with a wink. He, of course, was pretty sure that this was the case, since obviously he was Felix and all women dressed up pretty for him and him alone.

Kaiya Zeller had spent a majority of her day avoiding crowds while walking around the grounds of the charity event. She sat in the bleachers that surrounded the quidditch pitch for a good portion of her time, of course, rooting for her fellow students. Three of her many guy friends were playing: Alfie, Felix and DC. The girl realized that most of her friends were guys, but she shrugged it off. No harm in socializing with sexy men.
After the game ended, she walked out to congratulate the guys on the pitch for a game well played. Even if they did lose, they held their own up there against professionals. They gave the professionals a run for their money and made themselves look good by keeping their courage throughout the game, never giving up. That was always good to see, especially with highly competitive players. Kaiya waved to them all, saying that she would see them in a little while at the ball. After thinking about what she said, she regretted it. Events like that weren't really her thing. She hated being crowded in a room with a lot of people. The temptation was almost overwhelming.
Kaiya headed up to her dorm, cursing under her breath the whole way. The one good thing about events like these were that she could get dressed up and wear the gowns that she had. The girl rummaged through her trunk and pulled out her long turquoise gown, smiling slightly. She hadn't worn it before and this might be the perfect opportunity. Kai slid into it and redid her makeup. It didn't take as long as she thought it would have.
The blonde downed a shot of firewhiskey and headed down to the Great Hall on time, surprisingly there were plenty of people already there. That made Kaiya uncomfortable and a bit nervous. A lot of people around her was never a good thing. She made her way straight for the bar. Kai knew that she was going to need a few more drinks if she was going to survive at least half of this bash. She smiled and waved at the group of fifth years and Frankie as she picked up her drink. Feilx was, of course, standing with them, surrounded by women as expected. "My my, Felix, you seem to have quite the touch with the ladies," she said with a slight chuckle. The girl turned and spotted her friend DC chatting with a few of his friends. "I'll see you all around." Kaiya walked over to him with a cute little smile stuck on her face. He looked pretty damn good in his suit, there was no denying that. "'Ello there, Dean," she said, her eyes seemed to sparkle slightly and her smile grew just a tad bit. ::outfit: here::

Leaving Erinn behind to work her magic, DC stopped by the bar to get a butterbeer. While waiting, he chatted with some of his first year fans, who begged him to get out on the dance floor with them. He chuckled, because their childhood innocence was so adorable and quite amusing. Sorry girls. I already have a girl in mind. But if I need someone to pick me up if she says no, I'll be sure to come to you. He flashed them a smile, and walked away, hearing the fit of giggles that exploded from them.
Spotting a group of friends, DC casually walked over to join the conversation. He didn't get very far into discussing the afternoon's events before he was distracted by the girl walking over to him. He gave a low whistle. Damn Kaiya, you look amazing. He motioned for her to step away from the crowd, so they could talk more privately. You're dress is....wow. He hoped that he didn't sound completely stupid, but words couldn't express how beautiful the girl standing in front of him was. He didn't exactly know how he felt for one of his closer friends, but the way she looked tonight didn't exactly help. A lopsided grin slowly grew on his face, as one of his favorite melodies began to play. He held his hand towards her. Would you care for a dance?
