As she had expected, Gabby wasn't just going to give in on anything. She had to give her credit for her persistence, in some ways, but Ari really wasn't liking it. She much would have preferred if the girl had just given up caring overall and just forgotten about her. Though, there was definitely a part of her that kind of appreciated it. It was good to know that Gabby still cared, even if that was sort of what she was trying to avoid. Sighing a bit, Ari looked over at Gabby with an unsure gaze. "Yeah, maybe so," she shrugged. It had been a long time. A hell of a long time, considering how much they both had changed, but Ari couldn't have forgotten. Even if she had wanted to forget Gabby, she couldn't have. They'd been close growing up and just cutting her out like that didn't change the fact that she still cared about the kid.
Biting at her lip, Ari wasn't sure where to go from there. Gabby made a good point. On one hand, it made sense. Why not just tell her now and get it over with? Gabby was smart and sooner or later, if she was trying, she'd figure it out, no matter what Ari did to stop her. However, that would also mean that she'd have to say something, tell her everything that had happened and that wasn't a thing that she wanted to do. "You're a determined little bitch, huh?" Ari asked, shaking her head a bit. She had a light smile on her face, the first of the night, and the moment was actually kind of not that bad. Sort of. It wasn't exactly normal, but Ari didn't feel quite so bad about everything that had happened for the time being. Of course, that didn't mean that she was going to say anything.
Looking down for a moment, she raised her head to look at Gabby with a vaguely amused look on her face. "Alright than. You want to know what's up? For real?" she asked, giving her a bit of a shrug. Perhaps, this would be the best way to go about things. Ari could tell her straight up and see where it went. There was definitely the chance that the whole idea of it all would sound so utterly ridiculous that Gabby wouldn't believe her and would go off hunting for some other explanation. "I got attacked. Ah, pretty bad. I was in the hospital for two weeks and I'm still in recovery. I've got scars up and down my body, but you can't see them because I'd die if anyone found out, so I cover them up. And once a month I transform into a crazy, killing beast that attacks innocent creatures or, more frequently, myself. So, if you want to go on thinking it was a bitch move to desert you, go right ahead. But just know that I was protecting you from what I could do to you. I could single handedly ruin your life with one quick accident and I don't want that," she explained, her tone curt and rather frank. It was the most honest Ari had been in months and she was just hoping that Gabby wouldn't believe shit of what she said.

Nika Krum rolled her clover green eyes and scoffed at the girl, “Why would I have to rethink taking it away from you?” She watched Erinn’s confidence shrink as she made her offer. Nika watched the girl’s eyes flicker over to her friend. “I know you want to, but maybe you’re too scared to do it in front of her,” she said, practically mocking her. She watched Erinn contemplate the deal and was shocked that she was going to go through with it.
Sparks flew in Nika’s eyes as Erinn kissed her. Damn. That wasn’t supposed to happen. She blushed in the slightest way and bit her lip to hold back the smile. Her eyes examined the bottle of liquor in her hand, avoiding contact with anyone. Erinn’s voice broke the tension in the air. Nika really didn’t want to give her back the alcohol, but she did kiss her. The girl tore her eyes away from the bottle and looked up at the person that just kissed her. Her green eyes still twinkled, practically shouting that she liked it and wanted more. It was a hard feeling to hide, but Nika had her ways. “Oh? This alcohol?” she said as she held out the bottle. She looked down at the floor and then quickly looked back at Erinn, her emotions seemed to change instantaneously. “That was a cheap kiss.” A playful smirk crossed her lips as she took the bottle back and took a swig of the alcohol. The girl had no intentions of actually giving it back. She was going to take advantage of this situation and milk it for all it was worth.

Gabby couldn't help but smile when Ari stated that she was a determined bitch. It wasn't a smile that reached her eyes but it was a smile non the less and it had slipped from her face the second Ari agreed to tell her what was going on. Gabby moved her hands from her hips and fold her arms across her chest and nodded her head when Ari asked if she wanted to know for real.
Listening carefully, Gabby was immediately caught off guard when Ari started off her explanation by saying that she'd been attacked. Of all the things Gabby had been expecting her to say, that wasn't it. Staring at Ari, her expression guarded, (though that was very hard to do with everything that came out of her sisters mouth), realization dawned on Gabby the moment Ari said that once a month she transformed. Gabby's mind was quick to piece together the secret Ari had been hiding, even if she wasn't sure she wanted to believe it. "You're a werewolf.." she breathed quietly, her guarded expression slipping into one of mixed confusion and pity. It was hard to process at first and Gabby had to look away from Ari so that she could think. This was the last thing she had expected her sister to come out with and whilst the idea of it seemed mental, Gabby believed her. To be honest Gabby was surprised Ari had just come out with it all. Maybe she thought that Gabby wouldn't believe her. Or maybe she was tired of hiding such a big secret? Gabby didn't know but she was, for the moment, lost for words.
"But mum and dad," she started and looked back at Ari, "They never said anything." she looked bewildered and lost and slowly, she felt her anger and annoyance shifting from Ari and to her parents. Why hadn't they said anything? Her mother had led Gabby to believe that Ari no longer cared for the family. She'd said that Ari had claimed they were all holding her back and that she was better off without them. Of course at the time Gabby had thought her mother was lying. Because it just didn't make any sense for her to say that. But the longer Ari was absent, the more Gabby came to believe her mother. But whilst Gabby felt some anger towards both her parents and Ari for being kept in the dark, she understood why they might have chosen to keep it secret. Still, Gabby didn't think Ari cutting herself out from their lives was the best option. In fact she thought it was the worst. She got that Ari might not have wanted to be around so that she'd could protect the family. But who had been supporting her whilst she'd been going through the horrible (so she'd read) transition into a dangerous and wild creature? Had her mother been visiting her in secret? Even if Ari kept her distance, why couldn't they just have told Gabby? She was a mature girl, she could handle it. And she would have wanted to be there for her sister.
The thought of Ari going through it all alone was a horrible one and it had Gabby feeling angry and upset all at once. "You must have been so scared.." she whispered, mostly to herself, and blinked her eyes when they became watery. She was looking at Ari in a whole new light and truly felt sorry for everything she must have been through. Crossing the space between them Gabby threw her arms around Ari in a tight, sisterly hug.

He couldn't be sure just how much help he was actually being by staying there just holding her, but when she seemed to calm down some, he felt like he was in the right place. Even if he didn't really have a part in all of the drama that was taking place, it was probably a good thing. He could be an impartial third party and just be there to comfort a friend in need. He'd never really had to deal with any of that before with any of his other friends, so he was a bit out of place, but he was doing what he could. Obviously, it wasn't like he could just up and leave her there to deal with something like that all on her own and it didn't seem like whoever the father in the situation was would be helping out any time soon. So, Felix would. People didn't often realize it, but he wasn't such a bad guy sometimes.
He raised an eyebrow slightly when she said that she had been scared to tell him, not at all sure what the big deal about telling him was. Perhaps she was just worried that he would be mad because that meant she was sleeping around with other guys or something, but otherwise he didn't see why she would have worried about his opinion on it all. He stayed there listening as she broke into another ramble, happy to just let her vent whatever it was that she needed to say. She clearly just needed someone to talk to that wouldn't sit around and judge her or something, so Felix just nodded a bit as she spoke to show that he was still listening. He kept an understanding smile on his face, ensuring that she knew he wasn't being judgmental or anything, since that was probably the last thing she needed.
Avoiding him. At that, a slight frown furrowed across his face as he started to piece together everything that she was saying and put it into context. She'd been avoiding him after they'd hooked up and now she was pregnant. Felix's face dropped for a moment, turning into a full on look of shock when she mentioned the fact that they would be having a baby. Together. Felix. A baby. "Oh...shit," he said, unable to say much else at that point. It was now pretty obvious that it probably had to be his and that was the last thing that Felix wanted or needed at the moment. He couldn't seriously be he one that had knocked her up, right? "You're ah...you're sure you're pregnant?" he asked, hesitantly. He didn't even question the fact that she was pretty confident it was his, since he doubted that she would lie about something like that, but perhaps she was just mistaken. Maybe she was just sick.

Erinn's head tilted to the side, a look of irritation on her face when Nika was taunting her. Clearly, she didn't think Erinn would actually go through with such a thing and, admittedly, until she started to move forward, Erinn herself didn't think she'd do it either. Ellie was there and Frankie was...well, she had been there earlier and there were plenty of other people around that definitely wouldn't be too pleased by the idea of her kissing Nika. Though, it wasn't like she was actually kissing Nika. It was more just her following through with a dare or something. Plenty of people did stupid things because of dares and obviously, this was one of them. Of course everyone would believe that, since it was pretty ridiculous to even consider the possibility that it could mean anything more than just that. Right?
Eying Nika as she pulled away, Erinn couldn't be sure just what sort of emotion was coming forth from her. On one hand, she kind of seemed to look like she had damn well enjoyed it, but then the moment faded. And she still wasn't giving Erinn back her alcohol. "You bitch," she said with a frown, though it could hardly be considered an upset frown. Her eyes were dancing in amusement, a light smirk playing on her face. Her hesitation was gone for now and she was simply there to enjoy herself. Which, at the moment, meant forgetting that everyone else was around and going along with whatever it was that was happening with Nika. Erinn didn't know where she stood with the girl, but she had a feeling that it was a good place. Maybe.
For a moment, Ty's arrival threw her off, but she ignored that he was there, assuming Ellie would divert his attention enough that it wouldn't matter. Moving back forward, Erinn grabbed hold of the bottle and pulled it up towards her mouth, not at all bothered by the fact that Nika still had a hold on it. "You say that like you could do any better," Erinn responded, taking a swig from the bottle and looking over at Nika with a raised eyebrow. She probably shouldn't have been drinking at the moment, since that definitely never turned out well, but it helped. It loosened her up enough that it didn't matter that Ellie was there, or that Ty was there, or that Frankie was around. All that mattered was doing whatever the hell she wanted.

As she spoke, Ari kept her attention focused on Gabby, looking to see what reaction would come from it. To be honest, Ari was pretty much expecting that Gabby wouldn't believe her and that was essentially the only reason that she was being so completely honest at the moment. However, as she started to come out with what she was saying, it wasn't a skeptical look on Gabby's face. Ari bit at her lip, realizing that her "plan" was definitely not going as she had intended it to. Gabby didn't hate her enough that it was to the point where she didn't believe a word that she said and that sucked. Ari didn't want Gabby, or anyone else, to know. She didn't want pity or disgust or anything from anyone. She wanted to be seen as the same old Ari that she had always been, not something that had to be looked after and taken care of. Well, any more than Ari needed on a normal basis, anyways.
For a moment, Ari let Gabby's words sink in. She still had a difficult time hearing that from anyone, let alone her own sister. Sometimes, she wasn't even sure she believed it herself. Her eyes trailed off to the side for a moment, not willing to meet Gabby's. It didn't seem like there was much of a chance that she could redeem the moment and backtrack from what she had said, so that was it. Slowly, she nodded her head a bit, still not saying anything. She didn't want to say anything. She didn't want to come out and straight up say that she was a werewolf. In fact, she hadn't said that to anyone. The only two other people that knew had found out because they had come to the hospital and other than that, no one knew. Ari hadn't felt the need to tell a single person and she still didn't.
Running her hand along the side of her face, Ari breathed in for a moment before looking back up at Gabby. "Yeah, uh, I guess that's...about right," she said finally. That was as close to an admission as she could get at that point and that was good enough. It was weird for her, knowing that someone else was in the know about her secret now. On one hand, it was downright terrifying, since there was no telling who Gabby might accidentally or perhaps even intentionally tell. However, it was also kind of a relief to know that she wasn't totally hating on her for it. She knew that werewolves had a stigma on them and that there were definitely people out there that discriminated against them. Hell, she'd been one of those people herself before the change. So, in a way, it wasn't so bad.
Her face turned up into a snarl when Gabby mentioned their parents, since that was definitely a sore spot when it came to Ari. Not so much her father, since he didn't know anything about what had happened and couldn't be blamed, but definitely her mother. Ari had known that her mother could be a bit of a bitch, but to just up and essentially kick your daughter out of the family, that was pretty fucked up and Ari had no intention of forgiving her any time soon. "Your dad doesn't know," Ari shrugged, leaving it at that. There was no reason to bring their mother into it, since she really didn't need to cause any unnecessary family drama. "Your mother felt it best that no one find out," she added, almost as an afterthought.
A frown surfaced on her face at Gabby's suggestion that she might have been scared. Honestly, at first she was a bit scared, but not so much for herself. In a way, she kind of felt like she deserved it. "Scared? Hardly. I'm pretty fucking indestructible now," she shrugged. It was a stupid line of thinking, but it was how Ari had been recklessly living her life as of late. Consequences didn't even factor in to her thinking anymore. Balking back slightly when Gabby pulled her into a hug, Ari stood there awkwardly for a moment before hugging her back. It wasn't exactly an enthusiastic hug, but it was closer to being normal than she had anticipated. Which was the very thing that Ari didn't want. "We shouldn't be doing this," Ari mumbled, backing away.

Frankie had been mentally wrestling with how she was going to go about telling her parents and siblings that she was pregnant, so she hadn't been paying any attention to Felix or the shock that fell across his face. It was only when Felix cursed that Frankie turned her attention to him. Her dark eyes were confused before they registered the shock on Felix's face. Frankie immediately lowered her head when she realized that Felix must have only caught on to the fact that he was the father. He must have thought that she slept around if he hadn't the faintest clue that it could be his. Frankie would have been annoyed if she hadn't felt so completely lost at the moment.
Felix's question had Frankie coming up short. Did she know for sure that she was pregnant? Well, if he thought that going off her gut instinct wasn't proof, then no. All of a sudden Frankie felt embarrassed. Because whilst she was pretty damn sure that she was indeed pregnant, Felix probably wouldn't without some actual proof. "I.. well, I haven't done a test.." she mumbled, her cheeks red with the embarrassment she felt. "I just.. I just know." she looked at Felix, pleading him with her eyes to understand. "I'm going to do a test tomorrow.." she added quickly and then slowly shrugged her shoulders. "But I know what the result will be." Giving him one last 'I'm sorry' glance, Frankie kicked off her shoes and then started to climb to her feet. Despite her puffy eyes and sore head, she was feeling much better and much less like she was going to pass out or be sick.
"Um.." Feeling at a loss for words, Frankie contemplated leaving to return to her dorm. Would it be cruel to just leave Felix after flooring him with what she had? Frankie didn't know but her headache was growing by the minute, all she wanted to do was curl up under her duvet and either cry some more or try sleep. It would probably be a mix of both. "I should go.. I'm sorry. I need to clear my head." she looked up at Felix, who seemed much taller now that she wasn't wearing her wedges, and waited for his reply. She planned on retiring to her dorm whether he wanted her to or not, but she'd wait a few minutes to see if he had anything else to say.

Gabby didn't pay much attention to the fact that Ari referred to their parents as 'Your mother' and 'your father'. Her mind was too preoccupied with Ari's revelation and the hardships and troubles she must have gone through. Except Ari didn't seem all that fazed by it all, which was just strange. Gabby thought that her sister must be putting on a strong front and that inside she felt torn up and awful. Ari's response to her statement, that she must have been so scared, threw Gabby a little. Eventually it became just another thing that Gabby assumed was a front. Of course she Ari could be very 'Whatever' about her life but how could anyone be so calm and nonchalant about something so huge and life changing.
The hug was a lot more awkward than Gabby had wanted and she knew it was because her sister wasn't all that happy with the action, so she quickly stepped away. A flash of hurt crossed her face at the rejection she felt from both the hug and Ari's words. Now that her sister had shared her secret, Gabby had hoped, maybe a little naively, that things would go back to normal between them. Or at least something close to it. Furrowing her brows and pulling her lips into a frown, Gabby folded her arms across her chest. "Shouldn't be doing what?" she asked, annoyance and exasperation laced heavily in her words. Gabby hadn't expected things to be perfect and rosy all of a sudden just because Ari had revealed her secret, but she didn't expect her sister to start withdrawing again either.

Belle smiled at Louis, glad that he was happy to stick around with her. She was sure she'd spending her night on her own otherwise, because she hadn't seen many of her friends about. Her smile blossomed into a full blown grin at Louis' second comment. "Oh no," she shook her head and mock-frowned "We wouldn't want that." breaking out into a playful smile, Belle took Louis' hand and did a twirl, loving the effect it had on her skirt.
"I've wanted to do that all night." she giggled, and slowed their dance to a stop as the song came to an end. "Can we get a drink? I'm so thirsty." Smiling, she linked her arm through Louis' and began to weave her way through the other students.
As Belle led Louis over to where the large punch bowl was sat, she spotted Erinn, Ty, Ellie and some Slytherin girl. (Belle didn't know why she was there. But she didn't care all that much either.) "Hey Ty, you scrub up well" Belle gave Tyson a teasing smile and then nodded hello's at Erinn, Ellie and even Nika, though her smile was on the strained side when she included the Slytherin girl. "I'll be quick." she promised Louis, dropping his arm and heading over to the punch bowl.

Felix really didn't know what to do about this. Obviously, if Frankie was pregnant at his fault, than he was going to have to be a part of whatever Frankie decided to do. Felix wasn't the type of guy that would back out and just act as if it wasn't his problem and even if this wasn't a situation that he really wanted to deal with, he would. Deep down, he was actually a good guy and he would step up and be there for Frankie, whatever the end result would be. Biting his lip, Felix shifted nervously for a moment, not at all sure what to do for the time being. He couldn't just let the moment end awkwardly there, since he kind of felt a bit obligated to say something or to comfort her or something to that effect. However, he still hadn't quite recovered enough yet to say anything.
Nodding slightly in response, Felix sat back a bit, running his hand through his hair nervously. "Right. Okay. A baby. We can...we can handle...a baby," he said, more just thinking out loud to himself than talking to Frankie. "We can ah, we'll do something and it'll be good. Well, I don't know if good, but...well, we'll have a sexy baby," he continued, now just kind of rambling anxiously as the thoughts muddled about in his head. Felix didn't know how to deal with something like this. He wanted to do the right thing and all, but he didn't know how. The whole situation was just a big mess that he was pretty convinced would never happen to him and the fact that it was actually happening floored him. And with Frankie of all people. She was pretty much the last person that he ever would have expected to get pregnant.
Getting back up when Frankie started to get up to her feet, Felix stood back a bit and looked over at her with an anxious expression. He wasn't sure if letting her go back along was what he should do, but than again maybe they both just needed some space for the moment. This was a lot to process and Felix knew that he would definitely need some time to sort it all out before he could come to terms with anything. "I...yeah, I'll uh. Can I walk you back?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He definitely wasn't about to head back to the ball for any reason, so the only thing he could think of to do was head back to his dorm. Of course, since Frankie was heading back up, he figured he should probably help her back up and get anything that she needed or whatever.

Admittedly, Ari felt a bit well, awful, when she started to push Gabby away again. She'd been doing it for so long and for a short moment, things had almost seemed normal. Of course, Ari knew that they couldn't just go back to being the way that they had been before the attack and perhaps that she couldn't let it. She didn't want anything to happen to Gabby at her hand and so, she had to keep her at a distance. She didn't really want to, but she felt like she had to. She'd already attacked one student in her werewolf form and it was unlikely that the next time it happened would turn out as lucky, if that's what you could even call it. There was no telling what would happen and the less involved that Gabby was, the less likely it was that something bad could happen to her.
It was even harder for Ari to see the look Gabby gave her and the sound that her voice took on. "I...this. Being close. I don't want to hurt you," Ari said, biting at her lip. Looking over at Gabby with a regretful look, she sighed for a moment before stepping forward a bit. With a slight bit of hesitation, she wrapped her arms lightly around her sister and rested her chin on the top of Gabby's head. "Look, I don't know...how to do this. I haven't exactly...been close to anyone in awhile," Ari started, pausing to think for a moment before continuing. "But, if you promise to just...not get too attached, than maybe we could work something out. Dinner every so often or something," Ari offered, not at all sure where to take this.

Felix was taking the news a whole lot better than Frankie had expected. She'd expected him to freak out or shout or something. In fact a part of her was still wary that he might just do that, it was why she wanted to hurry off away from him. But when the shouting didn't come, Frankie felt her guard drop. It was too tiring keeping it up at the moment anyway.
Listening in silence to Felix's quiet mumbles, all Frankie could do was blink blankly at him when he said that they'd have a sexy baby. Despite everything, Frankie couldn't help the smile creeping onto her lips. If she hadn't been so upset she would have laughed out loud at his silly comment. When he asked if he could walk back with her, Frankie hesitated at first but eventually gave in and nodded her head. Now that Frankie was a little more sure that Felix wasn't about to bite her head off she felt more comfortable with the idea of being around him. Besides it would be good to have him near in case she had another of her dizzy spells. "Sure." she attempted a smile and then began to lead the way to their dorms in silence.

Nika laughed at Erinn when she called her a bitch. “I hope you’re not just realizing that now,” a smug look crossed her face. Of course she was a bitch. It had pretty much become a lifestyle for her over the years. Her life consisted of quidditch, pranking people, picking on first years and bitching. The girl took another sip from the bottle, rubbing it in Erinn’s face that she still had the drink.
Erinn lifted the bottle to her mouth while it was still in Nika’s hand. The girl chuckled as all of the tension that she was feeling seemed to fade away. She rolled her eyes, “I can so top that.” Nika smirked playfully. Another dare tonight? That was one offer that she didn’t want to turn down. Her sister wasn’t anywhere in site, neither was Erinn’s, therefore she couldn’t care less who saw. Anyway, she could just use the fact that she had been drinking to her defense.
Nika moved the bottle away from Erinn’s mouth and took a step forward. She draped her arms over the girl’s shoulder and backed her up so that her Erinn’s back was against the wall. She pressed her lips against Erinn’s and again, the sparks were flying. If her eyes hadn’t been closed, they would be glowing.

Louis couldn't help but be in a great mood when he saw that Belle was starting to really enjoy herself. He always had fun out and surrounded by other people, but he knew that wasn't always the case for her, so it was definitely nice to know that she wasn't having a terrible time with him there at the ball. Chuckling at her comment, Louis shook his head playfully, grinning over at Belle as she moved about in a twirl. This was the sort of atmosphere that Louis felt the most comfortable in. Everyone was in a good mood and it was nearly infectious. Honestly, Louis couldn't imagine being anything but excited to be there right now. "You're too cute, Belle. We might have to stuff you back in the Room of Requirement to hide before all the guys start rushing over, eh?" he commented with a laugh. He wasn't being serious, of course and was just playing around.
Nodding at her question, Louis let her link their arms together and took off with her over toward the punch bowl. He nodded a bit at the others as they got over towards where Tyson and the others were standing and waited there as Belle went to go grab punch. "Yeah, okay. I'll be right here," he said, stepping back a bit from where he was. Running a hand through his hair, he looked on to see what, exactly, was going on between the group that they had stumbled into and, to be honest, he wasn't too pleased with what he found. Tyson seemed to be okay, but the others were getting a bit crazy and he had a feeling that the alcohol had quite a bit to do with it. They weren't even supposed to have that stuff. Louis, while all for having a good time, was not the sort to go about breaking rules and he certainly didn't care for when others broke them either. However, he didn't want to ruin anyones evening at the ball and moved to hurry over to where Belle was standing. "There's a lot goin' on here, huh?" he commented, averting his eyes from the other group.

The whole situation definitely was too much for Felix to process right now and left him in a state of shock, for the most part. He didn't know how to respond, or what to do, so he just went with it. He could get upset or angry or whatever later, probably when Frankie wasn't around. He didn't think she needed to hear any crap from him about it, since it was probably already bad enough as it was for her. Walking just a pace or so behind her, Felix started to escort her back to the Gryffindor tower. He felt better being there with her, since at least that way he knew she wasn't going to faint or whatever without someone there to help her. Sure, it was a bit awkward being there with her at the time, but that was something that he'd probably have to deal with quite a bit in the coming few weeks...months, whatever.
Biting at his lip as the silence dragged on, Felix couldn't help but feel completely obligated to talk. He had to say something or the silence quite possibly might kill him. He wasn't fond of quiet situations and even if talking probably wasn't a good idea, he had to. "So, uh. What do you want to name it?" he asked. The last thing he should have been talking about was the baby situation, but that was kind of all that he could think about at the moment. It was so unexpected and well, life changing that it was a bit difficult to wrap his mind around anything else. He needed a few days, at the very least, to take it in and deal with it all before he could go back to just being normal...if that would even be possible considering the circumstances.
