When Belle had turned to her sister for help with finding something to wear for the ball, this was not what she'd had in mind. Standing before a mirror in the girls bathroom, Belle stared at her reflection, her expression a mix of uncertainty and dread. Uncertainty because she wasn't at all sure about her outfit, (She was wearing a dress. A pink one.) and dread because she was wearing heels. Belle had only worn heels once in her life, at an uncles wedding. And even then they'd only been small. Not at all like the sky scrappers she was wearing now. Okay, so maybe she was exaggerating a little but they sure did feel like skyscrapper heels when she walked. Belle thought it was lucky that she had such good balance, what with being a ballet dancer. If she didn't she was sure she'd end up falling over more than once tonight.
As Belle left the bathroom to head down to the Great Hall, she felt her mind wandering back to the performance her group had put on. It had been good. Well better than good considering Megan had been a part of the group and she hadn't been all that bothered about the outcome. The match had pretty much gone to hell for the students but that was to be expected. Belle thought that they'd still done really well though, which was all that mattered when it came down to it. Felix must have been majorly pissed. Belle hadn't gotten a chance to speak with him after the match since he'd immediately been ambushed by those crazy fan girls of his. She figured she'd see him later at the ball. Well make that now since she'd arrived.
Slowing to a stop before the large open doors, Belle stared at the already large group of people inside. 'Okay, good, I can just blend in' Wandering in, Belle glanced around to find a spot she could settle into for now. She still felt nervous in her current attire and didn't much feel like parading herself around the Great Hall. Spotting a place by the far wall, Belle hurried over. Yes, she had every intention of being a wallflower tonight, no she didn't care that her sisters efforts had pretty much gone to waste. outfit;; here

As Kaiya stood at the bar waiting for her drink she peered over to where Erinn was standing. Felix, Francesca, Ellie and Nika were there too. Three out of the four she knew were Gryffindors and that only left one other option for the girl's mystery lover. Kai was sure that she didn't have a crush on her sister or her best friend. Maybe her best friend's brother though, but he was a Gryffindor and all Gryffies were cancelled out of the equation. She watched them with interest and winked at Erinn on her way to talk to Dean, shooting her one of her famous 'Ha, I totally figured it out' looks.
Kaiya couldn't help but blush a little bit when DC whistled at her. She twirled in mid-stride to show him the back of her gown. She felt as if she was walking the runway, minus the flashing lights. The two of them walked away from his friends. Kai giggles at DC's lack of words. It was cute, even for a genius Ravenclaw. She smiled and returned the compliment, "Thanks. And might I add that you look extremely handsome tonight as well." When Dean asked her to dance, she smiled sweetly and took a sip of her butterbeer. After a moment of hesitation, the blonde set her drink down on a nearby table. "I'd love to."
Kaiya gently took his hand and bashfully looked down at the floor. She hid the fact that she was as nervous as a first year waiting to be sorted as they walked onto the dance floor. At the same time, she was anxious and excited, but most of all that he even wanted to dance with her.

The fact that Ellie was willing to go along with the whole idea of getting drunk pretty much guaranteed that it was a damn good idea. Obviously, if she was okay with it, than it was perfectly acceptable. Sort of. "Brilliant. It's a good day to get wasted, I'd say," Erinn nodded, her voice not completely excited and somewhat sullen. She shook her head a bit at Ellie's question, but that didn't mean they couldn't find something. After all, there was plenty of alcohol around the school that they could summon to them or something. "Didn't bring it, but I know where to find it. Hang on, I can summon it real quick. It's in a bag, so they won't know it is if it flies past the professors," Erinn commented, quickly moving to take her wand out from her purse.
Before she could summon it, however, Frankie had come up next to them. Shooting her a smile that wasn't quite so sincere, Erinn lowered her wand for a moment. She wasn't sure if Frankie would entirely approve of the plan to get drunk to the point of passing out, so she decided it was best to play it safe for a few minutes to see what kind of mood the girl was in. "You look good too, yeah?" she nodded, though her face drew into a serious expression at the following question. Was she okay? Not really. But, did she want to talk about it? Not at all. "Yeah, you know. Just. Don't worry about it," she shrugged. Erinn wasn't the type of person that liked to drag other people into her problems like this one, especially not on a night that was supposed to be amazing and full of fun for everyone. Besides, it was likely that Nika would move on to hang out with other people and she wouldn't have to be awkwardly worrying about it the rest of the night.
Another light smile passed the girls face when she saw the next newcomer to the group, Felix. Of course, he wasn't too pleased with Ellie's outfit, which brought an even bigger grin from Erinn. She was most definitely glad that her own brothers weren't there to cover her up, since her outfit was slightly sluttier than Ellie's. Snorting and shaking her head at Felix, Erinn couldn't help but be in a slightly better mood. "Yeah, Felix. All for you. You know how I have that undying love for you and such," she commented, rolling her eyes as she did so. Felix was like another older brother to Erinn, just one that she could flirt at and joke around with when she needed to. Even if she didn't care for him in a romantic sense, he was damn gorgeous and flirting at him, even jokingly, was fun. Besides, perhaps Nika would buy it and get jealous. Not that she cared, of course .<<.
Glancing over to where Dean was, he saw that Kaiya was starting to make her way over there and a bright smile passed her face. She was genuinely happy that someone was actually interested in her cousin, since she definitely thought he deserved it. Not to mention, Kaiya seemed pretty cool, so that was good. Though, the look that she was giving Erinn unsettled her slightly. It was as if she knew something and Erinn had a pretty good idea what it was that Kaiya thought she knew. Was she making it that obvious already? The bundle of nerves that she had been repressing started to rise back up and Erinn's gaze shifted back to the group with an anxious feel to it. Not caring at that point that Frankie was there, Erinn brought her wand back up and quickly sent out a summoning spell. It took but a few short seconds for a fairly large bag to come flying towards them, which she caught with ease. Opening it up, she pulled out the first bottle of firewhiskey, opening it and taking a large swig before holding it out to the others. "So, who's going to get this party officially started with me?"

Ellie looked at her brother as she joined the group. She didn't really want him around, not at the moment, especially not when Erinn was bringing around alcohol, because Ellie knew Felix would block her from it, put her in a dressing gown, and send her off to bed, before the night had even truly started. As Felix handed her his jacket, she glared at him. "God, Felix, I'm not wearing your bloody jacket. My outfit is fine. You're absolutely insane," she rolled her eyes, stepping a few steps away from Felix, still staying within the group. "My dress is perfectly modest, I'm not revealing anything but part of my leg, and there are tons of girls here dressed worse than me, and you just need to get over it," Ellie rolled her eyes and crossed her arms at her brother. He was getting close to ruining her night, and that's the last thing she wanted to happen.
"Erinn, stop talking to him, you'll only egg him on," she said, half serious and half joking, and lightly elbowed Erinn in the ribs. She could only imagine what Felix would be like if Ellie was anything remotely close to Erinn. Ellie tried her hardest not to completely laugh out loud, picturing Felix trying to chase Erinn around with his coat, trying to get her to cover up her barely-a-dress black top. "He's like a dog, he'll go away if you don't feed him."

Louis was quite the social butterfly and so, it was no surprise to hear that he was attending the ball after the charity event. While the event itself had gone over rather well for the purpose of the charity, there was no denying that the group had hit a bit of a rough patch for the entertainment side of things thanks to a certain Megan Aldridge. However, Louis still thought that, despite the circumstances, they had done particularly well. In any case, he'd received quite a few compliments on the matter and that definitely made him feel pretty good. So, as he tugged his tie on and adjusted it just right, Louis was in a damn good mood. He had a bright smile on his face, even if he wasn't the most comfortable in the fancy wear that he was to be shoved into that evening. It was too scratchy for his tastes and way to formal, but he didn't mind dressing up every so often.
His outfit on and a smile on his face, Louis left from the Hufflepuff dormitory to head up to the ball. He didn't have anyone in particular that he intended to meet and was happy to just float around and talk to whoever was there, maybe dance with some of his friends or family. Louis was really just all about having a good time with what he was given. Walking into the room, he noticed that quite a few groups had started to cluster around. There was the group with the Thomas girls, the Woods and a couple of other people, then there was Hallie and well, a not so pleased looking Megan and some other kid and then, there was Belle. Belle was one of his favorite people to be around, simply because she was so quiet, yet still in a pretty happy mood a lot of the time. Of course, he did try to open her up a bit more, but that would come with time, he assumed.
Deciding that it was probably best if he avoid Megan and Hallie's conflict, he much preferred the idea of going to talk to Belle for awhile. Sliding over to where she was, he put on his best grin and waved a quick hello as he approached her. "Heya, Belle. You look, wow, you look real gorgeous," he commented with a sincere nod. Shaking his head to let his bangs fall back into place, he couldn't help but smile over at her for a few seconds more before leaning up next to the wall. "You're much too stunning to stay hidden over here in the corner, you know. We can go dance, if you want?" he offered, holding out an arm with a hopeful look on his face. Getting Belle out on the dance floor would be fun and perhaps help her acclimate with the environment and be more comfortable.

Frankie gave Erinn a concerned, long side ways stare when her little sister basically shrugged off the question she'd just asked. Frankie decided not to pry though. Erinn clearly didn't want to talk about whatever it was that had her on edge and trying to drag some information out would no doubt irritate the hell out of her. So, Frankie accepted her answer with a nod. She was about to go fix herself a cup of punch when Felix hurried over.
Frankie had hoped that she'd run into him later on the evening, maybe after she could stomach a drink or two and wasn't feeling nervous. The meeting wasn't awkward though because he was too busy fussing over Ellie, which made Frankie roll her eyes. Over protective brothers could be so embarrassing. She thought Ellie looked lovely. If Felix had to be flinging his jacket at any body it should have been Erinn. Frankie wasn't all that concerned about Erinn's outfit though, hell she had dressed just as bad in her fifth year, she wasn't in any position to tell Erinn what to wear. Besides there would be no point, Erinn did whatever she wanted and it wasn't like they were in the middle of some sleazy club. Frankie doubted Felix would share her way of thinking though.
Two minutes passed before Felix acknowledged the rest of the group. It was funny how sleeping with a person made you seem them in a whole new light. Well, sort of. He still looked damn fine, especially dressed up smart, but Frankie found that his once cute and cheeky flirting didn't seem all that cute anymore. In fact Frankie found herself getting very pissed off with him and he'd barely spoken two sentences. Confused, Frankie whisked past the small group to the punch bowl to grab herself a drink and to re-order her thoughts. Okay, so, she was angry. Because there he was acting like his usual flirty, 'don't-you-just-love-me' self. Like nothing had even happened between them. But really what had she been expecting? It was just one night, they'd both been drinking and one thing had led to another. It didn't mean anything. Pursing her lips together when she felt her anger spike again, Frankie downed her drink and fixed herself another. That was the problem, Frankie realized. She'd spent the night with someone for the first time and it had been meaningless. Felix wasn't the reason she was getting angry, well he had a part in it, but it was mostly because she was disappointed with herself. 'Get a grip, Frankie'
Once she'd regained her composure and had managed to pin down her anger, (it was always easier when she knew why she was angry so that she could do something about it) Frankie turned back to face the group with her usual carefree smile. She'd missed some of their conversation but she doubted anything important had passed. "Oh, hey, firewhiskey." Alcohol was always good for cheering people up, right? Frankie took the bagged bottle from Erinn's grasp and wagged her finger at the younger girl, her face pulled down into a serious frown. "Naughty, naughty. I should confiscate this y'know" She warned before her expression eased into a playful smile. She took two mouthfuls of the liquor and then handed it back to Erinn. "Thanks." she grinned, but wrinkled her nose when her stomach churned uncomfortably. "Take it easy though, yeah?" Her warning was no doubt falling on deaf ears, but Frankie didn't care. She hardly felt like playing big sister tonight. Unlike Felix who was probably going to unintentionally make Ellie's night miserable with his elder brotherly duties. It was clear he meant well, which was kind of cute, but Frankie could see that Ellie wasn't at all happy with him looming there.
"Felix." Frankie cut in and stepped in front of Erinn and Ellie, blocking his view of them. "Dance with me?" It was more of a statement than a request because she already had a hold of his wrist and was pulling on it for him to join her on the dance floor. Frankie realized that her behavior might seem odd considering she'd been ignoring him over the past month. But Ellie clearly needed saving and this would be a good opportunity to get an actual conversation out of the way so that she won't have to worry about bumping into him in the future.

Belle tucked a strand of blond hair behind her ear as she watched the growing crowd of bodies move about the large hall. Being the wall flower never was much fun but Belle couldn't complain, at least she could say that she turned up for the ball. Besides she didn't plan on spending the entire night stood against the wall, she just needed some time to check out the scene. It was boring checking out the scene on her own though so she was glad to see a familiar face approaching.
"Oh, hey Louis" She offered him a smile and pushed herself from the wall so that she wasn't leaning back against it. She folded her arms across her chest and chuckled nervously when he followed up his hello with a compliment. "Thanks..." she smiled and lowered her head to the side so that she could hide her face a little. She could feel her cheeks burning and knew that they'd be glowing a bright red. It was so embarrassing. Belle didn't often receive compliments and it usually showed that she didn't take them well. She hoped Louis wouldn't notice.
"Dance?" Belle flicked her gaze over to the dance floor and then back to Louis. He looked like a cute puppy with that hopeful look on his face, which of course had Belle finding it difficult to turn him down. Besides dancing would be fun, it was what she loved to do and it was what she was good at. Not that she was about to pull any ballet moves on the dance floor. "I'm not really used to... this.." she indicated to her dress and heels as she linked her arm through his. "Feel kind of stupid actually." she shrugged and gave Louis a lop sided grin. "You look good too, by the way." she said quickly, feeling bad that she hadn't returned his compliment earlier.

As he had expected, Ellie wasn't too pleased by the idea of wearing his jacket and was being quite a bit rude about it. Of course, he couldn't have expected anything else from her. After all, it was a ball and she was supposed to be having fun, not being hounded over by her older brother, but that didn't make him any less irritated by the fact that she was prancing around in a shortish dress. Biting down on his lip and swallowing everything that he wanted to say, he simply slipped his jacked back on and nodded. "Just...be careful or whatever," he insisted, giving her a rather pleading look. He didn't want her to be upset with him, but at the same time she was still his little sister and he had to be sure he was looking out for her. If something were to happen to her, he would most definitely blame himself for it. So, sometimes he was a little excessively overprotective.
Running a hand through his hair, Felix still had that slightly concerned look on his face as he turned to listen as Erinn commented on what he had said. He knew he couldn't take her seriously when she said things like that. Well, at least he was kind of hoping that was the case anyways. However, that didn't stop him from flirting right back at her. "Oh, of course, Erinn. It's obvious the way you feel about me," he smirked, winking at her before glancing back at Ellie with a frown. Sometimes she could be so mean, but he had to tell himself that she didn't really mean it. Obviously, she was just not happy that he was there at the ball with her. However, it wasn't like he planned on leaving and they would somehow have to just compromise for the evening and get along.
Compromising was definitely made more difficult, however, when he saw the bottle of alcohol that Erinn had summoned. That was the last thing that he wanted to see hovering between her and Ellie, since that pretty much had no chance of turning out good. However, since Frankie seemed to be okay with it, he was willing to let it go for now. Though, if they did take it too far, he wouldn't have a problem stepping in to set them all right. Alcohol was something he was cautious with, especially when it came to the younger ones, since he knew how they could get. Erinn he knew he couldn't trust with a bottle of alcohol and if she roped Ellie into whatever scheme she came up with while drunk, well, Felix would just have to keep an eye out for them all.
His attention was distracted from the two younger girls when Frankie moved in front of them to actually address him. It had been a bit weird with her not talking to him at all, so he was slightly surprised when she started to drag him over towards the dance floor. An appreciative grin took over his face and he nodded his approval at the idea. Reaching the dance floor, he cautiously moved his hands to rest on her waist so that they could dance. "Aha, thanks for that. I have a feeling Ellie probably would have hated me if I'd stayed over there much longer," he said with a light chuckle. "I don't know how you stay so chill with Erinn." He shook his head a bit in admiration, knowing full well that he'd be a basketcase if he had to deal with a younger sister like Erinn. He was bad enough when it came to Ellie and she generally wasn't that bad.

The interactions between Ellie and Felix always brought an amused grin to Erinn's face. She was best friends with Ellie, so of course she had to sympathize with the girl and take her side, but at the same time, she was pretty decently close with Felix as well. He was her captain for Quidditch, so she spent a decent amount of time around him and of course she couldn't help but laugh at his protectiveness towards Ellie. She knew just how it was, considering she had two older brothers of her own. Luckily, she was around Frankie more often, however, and she was generally pretty cool as far as older siblings went. She didn't often try to chastise Erinn and even then it was usually entirely deserved when it did happen. Generally, their relationship was pretty tight and she was definitely glad that Frankie wasn't as bad as Felix.
Sticking her tongue out at Ellie when she nudged her in the side, Erinn gave her a bit of a shrug. "What can I say, love, your brother's a total hottie," she said with a chuckle. Though she was kidding around about it, she couldn't help but hope that at the very least, Nika took her seriously. Her eyes glanced over to where the other girl stood, only for a brief moment, before turning back to where Felix was. "Obviously, Felix and I have a connection that can't be denied," she continued on, even though it was practically impossible to say such a thing without bursting into a fit of laughter. The thought of her actually liking Felix was much too ridiculous. He was just...too Felix. She could understand how others might like him, but she couldn't imagine herself liking him as anything more than a friend and almost brother.
She shook her head a bit, still chuckling a bit, as she held out the firewhiskey for whoever wanted a swig. There was a moment of trepidation as Frankie took the bottle, but she quickly turned her expression into a relaxed one and Erinn breathed a small sigh of relief. Grinning over at Frankie, she nodded a bit in response. "Yeah, easy. You too," she commented, fully intending to drink herself drunk that night. It wasn't often that Erinn made the conscious decision to completely get wasted, but tonight seemed like the perfect night to do just that. She had too much going on and her nervous would probably have gotten the best of her if she didn't find some way to just chill out. Of course, there were probably better ways than getting smashed, but Erinn wasn't that thoughtful.
She eyed Frankie with interest as she dragged Felix over to the dance floor, but shrugged it off as her older sister just wanting to have a good time. "So, what are the odds they run off within the next twenty minutes to have their own party?" Erinn asked Ellie, raising an eyebrow a bit. It was always weird to think that her own sister might ever do anything at all with Ellie's older brother, but it wasn't as bad a thought as it could have been. Mostly. Weird, sure, but it wasn't like he was actually family, so it wasn't too, too weird. Taking another swig from the bottle of firewhiskey, Erinn could tell that the night was going to be rather interesting, if not full of way too much drama. Probably best she start drinking faster.

Frankie glanced around at the people dancing as she led Felix onto the dance floor. She spotted her cousin Dean across the hall and couldn't help the smile that tugged at her lips, he looked so adorable in his suit, slow dancing with Kaiya. Frankie wondered if they were dating, as far she knew they were close friends but she hadn't spoken to Dean in a while so who knew.
Once she had found a spot on the floor, Frankie gingerly placed her hands on Felix's shoulders and stepped a little closer. "Yeah, I don't think they appreciate us cramping their style." Frankie joked and half grinned. She shrugged her shoulders a little when he commented on her ability to handle Erinn. Frankie had to admit that sometimes, Erinn made her want to scream. But wasn't that what siblings did? Sure she was a handful, sometimes more, but Frankie happened to have the patience and understanding of a saint, which made dealing with Erinn's sometimes wild and crazy antics easy. "It's a talent." she bragged, a playful smile on her face. Despite what had happened between them and the awkwardness that had ensued, (though that had been on her part not his,) Frankie found that it was easy to slip into a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with Felix. She was grateful for this because it made having to deal with what happened that much easier.
"Hey Felix." she started, her voice a little uneasy. She wasn't sure how to go about talking about what happened that night but knew that she'd have to get it off of her chest eventually. "About that night and the way I acted after, I'm really, really sorry. I was stupid and childish and ignoring you obviously just made things worse. It's just.. you know, we had a drink and one thing led to another and I never meant for that to happen.." Unaware that she'd stopped their dance, Frankie rambled on, her dark brown eyes refusing to meet his. "I mean yeah I was crushing on you but i'm not that girl. You know the one who only needs to have a crush on a guy to sleep with him. So after that night and what we did.. I freaked because I was angry, not at you but at myself and you'll probably think it's stupid but it was my fir-" her last words trailed off into a quiet murmur as she realized that they were stood still and on the receiving end of a few odd stares. Embarrassed that she'd gone into one of her 'rambles',( Something she did whenever she felt nervous and or on edge,) Frankie chuckled a nervous and strained laugh before she placed her hands back on his shoulders and began their dance again.
"Sorry." she rolled her eyes away to stare at the other side of the hall. "I'll shut up now."

Though he noticed the redness that sparked after he complimented her, Louis decided that it was probably best not to comment on it. He knew how Belle could get when it came to compliments and he didn't want to make her feel any more embarrassed than she already did. Instead, he simply gave her another reassuring grin and nodded his head. He was the type of guy that always tried to avoid making people feel uncomfortable and didn't like to push people into anything at all, especially Belle. As one of his best friends, he always tried his best to sort of help push her out of her shell, but at the same time do it in a way that she wasn't always feeling awkward about it. Of course, it didn't always work, but he tried his best.
Nodding eagerly, Louis couldn't help but grin at her. "Yeah, course. We're at a ball after all, right? Might as well give the dance floor a go round," he chuckled. He wasn't sure if she was going to accept or not, but he certainly hoped that she did. It would be good for her to get away from the wall for awhile and get out on the dance floor. Besides, she was quite the amazing dancer and it would be a terrible crime if she wasn't put out there for everyone to watch. "It'll be kind of like our performance earlier. Except slower and I probably won't fail as much," he said with a light smile. He knew he wasn't the best earlier and he was okay with that. Being able to laugh about it later was what made Louis such an easy going person. He wasn't the type to fret over things he wasn't good at, he just accepted it and did his best.
Shooting her a grin when she took his arm, he inclined his head slightly to agree with her. "Yeah, I'm not really used to it either. But, hey, everyone has to dress up once in awhile and I guess it's not so bad. You definitely shouldn't feel stupid though, you look great," he assured her. With Belle on his arm, he led them both out a bit and to the edge of the dance floor so that they could dance along to the music. Turning a bit so that he was standing in front of her, he paused a moment before putting his arms on her waist in the most acceptable place he could find. Glancing up at her, he raised an eyebrow as if to ask if that was okay. "Thanks, yeah. I feel kind of silly in this getup, but my mum said I'd look charming, sooo," he said with a laugh.

"I'm up for it," Nika finally spoke. When she went to parties, her aim wasn't usually to get piss drunk, but hey, why not? She didn't see her sister around to tell her to stop. The girl already learned from her past mistakes. Never drink and fly. She could let loose tonight, get out what was left of her anger. Or not...
Francesca showed up and Nika became rigid. She stiffened up and became quite uncomfortable. Not nervous, just awkward. The girl fell silent and pursed her lips. "You'll be fighting them off tonight," Nika heard Frankie say. "I'd like to hope so," she mumbled under her breath averting her eyes from Erinn. The girl looked down at the floor and examined her strappy high heels.
Felix wandered over shortly after probably looking for Erinn's sister. "You wish," Nika replied to his comment with a smirk, "But I have someone else in mind..." Her voice trailed off and she glanced over at the people dancing on the dance floor. Nika fidgeted slightly and smiled knowing that she had probably just fooled everyone that had been paying attention to her. She might not be the sharpest wand in Ollivander's when it comes to academics, but she was cunning and clever outside the classroom. You can blame it on the Slytherin in her.
Nika turned back around and took the firewhisky from Erinn, taking a swig from it without hesitation. She didn't really care, in fact, it was as easy as stealing chocolate frogs from first year Hufflepuffs. The girl snickered and took another sip, smiling devilishly at Erinn.

"Yeah. I guess it's not too bad. Everyone does look good dressed up nice." Belle agreed as she glanced around at her peers laughing and dancing around the hall. "Your mum was right, you look super adorable." Belle teased with a grin. Belle had to admit that she loved Louis' easy going, happy-go-lucky nature. It made hanging with him fun and easy. Easy because it meant she didn't have to worry about being herself.
Once they were on the floor, Belle nodded her head to let Louis know it was okay to put his hands on her waist, before placing her own hands on his shoulders. "I think the performance today was good. You were... good... too. Sort of.." she trailed off and then after half a minute, smiled to show that she was joking. "You did really good actually, Hallie too." Of course she skipped mentioning Megan's name because her efforts had been pretty much non existent. Speaking of Hallie, Belle was positive she'd just seen the other girl hurrying through the great hall. Belle wondered if something was up but was too far away to have even thought of catching up with her. She hoped she was fine, Belle didn't know her well but she'd come to like her over the last week.
"So, do you think we're the coolest kids at school now?" Belle asked, a little sarcastic but smiling. She was referring to the statement Louis made earlier when he'd said that she'd be the coolest kid in school after their performance. Belle didn't care for popularity. In fact she was the exact opposite of popular considering she'd been three years of her life at Hogwarts being bullied.

DC led the girl out to the dance floor. He put his hands hesitantly around her back, not knowing exactly what to do. Sure, he's danced before, if you count dancing with Erinn, Frankie, and his mom. He wasn't exactly sure what to say, if he should say anything at all. So he listened to the music, and quietly hummed it into Kaiya's ear, while spinning her a few times to the beat of the melody.
He looked into her eyes and smiled, the last note of the song still lingering in the air. That was nice. He dropped his hands from her back, suddenly unaware of the other people in the room. His green eyes sparkled, and he flashed the girl a lopsided grin, hoping to put her at ease. He took hold of her hand. Would you like to go somewhere more quiet?

The fact that Frankie was starting to be more comfortable with him definitely helped matters, since Felix hadn't been all too fond of the fact that she was avoiding him. He liked her quite a bit and enjoyed having her around and he didn't think that it should change just because they hooked up. Plus, even if it didn't exactly seem like it, it had meant something to Felix and he definitely wouldn't have slept with her if he didn't at least have some serious feelings for her. What those were, exactly, he wasn't sure, but it wasn't just a random hookup for him. Though, if she wasn't going to mention it, than he wasn't about to bring it up or anything and make the night unnecessarily awkward. If he could help it, they'd just have a relaxed, fun night.
Raising an eyebrow slightly as she addressed him, her voice sounding rather unsure, he looked over at her with a reassuring gaze. Whatever it was she had to say, even if he didn't particularly want to go there just yet, he'd be happy to listen. He could be a pretty understanding guy, even if he was a cocksure, sometimes jerkish sort. He kind of felt a bit bad that she was apologizing, since in all honesty he couldn't blame her for what she did. It wasn't exactly the best situation, that was for sure, so he could sympathize with the fact that she'd been avoiding him. A light smirk arose on his face as she continued to ramble, letting her go on until she had gotten out everything that she needed to say for the time being. He figured it was probably best to just let her talk before interceding with whatever he had to say.
Her comment about crushing on him brought a small tug of a smile to his face, since that always was good to know. He'd always known that she was fun to joke around with, but the fact that it was now certain that she had a thing for him was nice to know. Fidgeting a bit when she went on, he got a slightly nervous look when she almost said it was her first time. At least, that was what he was assuming she was about to say before she realized that she was kind of rambling. Although it wasn't Felix's first time, that wasn't to say that he was overly experienced or anything. He wasn't really the type of guy to go around having sex all the time and in fact, had only slept with three girls, Frankie being one of them. Of course, she probably thought it was quite different.
Grinning a bit when she finished, Felix couldn't help but shake his head a bit in amusement. "Hey, no worries. You haven't talked to me in awhile, so you're just making up for lost time, eh?" he said with a shrug. There was definitely a lot to be said at the moment and it took Felix a moment to gather his thoughts to respond. "But uh, yeah. It's no big deal. I mean, it was ah, yanno. Er, it's good that you..like me though? I guess I kind of like you too, or I wouldn't have...done that," he started to explain, definitely not sure how to deal with the situation without saying something stupid. Normally, he was quite confident with himself, but this situation was a bit more serious than just an average conversation.
Clearing his throat a bit, he moved his foot around to keep his attention somewhat focused. "So uh, you're okay right? With...what happened?" he asked, looking up at her with a raised eyebrow. He wasn't really sure what to say otherwise now, since this wasn't exactly a situation that he'd been in before. The last two times he'd slept with a girl, they'd both been completely sober and somewhat dating at the time, so it hadn't been at all awkward. He was glad that at least he had the distraction of dancing to keep them both occupied and not focused on the situation of what they were talking about.
